I wanted to ad a photo but could not figure it out. Thank you so much for this pattern. I’ve said it before I’m am totally new to any kind of sewing. I chose quilting to learn. And have been sewing now for about 8 weeks. I made this table runner with a Christmas theme: I used 3 fabrics with one being a theme print. It came out beautiful. I’m learning so much from yours and Matt’s videos. Again thank you so so much for sharing your talent. God Bless, Sandi

I haven’t quilted in about 40 years once I had kids there was never any time so I’m watching your videos and they’re just so wonderful it’s giving me enough gumption to get up then go get scraps and start getting ideas together to make table runners I have a table runner that I made my early 20s for my mom and believe it or not except for one or two spots where the fabrics worn it’s still beautiful and it was all patchwork thanks for doing such a great job and inspiring many of us to come back to quilting or learn something new.

Donna, of all shows, I love yours the most!! You give such great tips when sewing for efficiency. Now, to have you teach us how to machine quilt our quilts with beginner and intermediate directions. I think you would be great at teaching us that, too. Thank you for all the sewing examples you make for us!! We all appreciate it!!

I really like this table runner Donna, so much that I'm going to do this same method. By making a quilt and using the prairie points on the border. Even sewing the top and bottom layers together. With the prairie points done the same way. Thank you so much for this tutorial.

sensational, sewing is indeed a universal language. I am Brazilian and I do not understand or speak English (I used a translator that I found on the web), but I understood what you did, perfectly (based on my experience with sewing). I found your work beautiful and learned several things with your way of doing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

This video has the best tip I have ever seen. The method you use for stacking and sewing is fantastic! I have a complicated log cabin and this is going to save me! I can't tell you how many times I have done my layout and then sewn together and somehow I always get something wrong. Thanks so much. Love your videos. You have given me lots of ideas. I especially love that you use alot of batiks!

Fresh!! That's the word I keep coming up with. Love how fresh this fabric is and love how quickly it comes together... Thank you for the measuring and so forth for spacing prairie points. Sometimes that part can be a little overwhelming...(I'm not the best at math lol). Thanks you guys for doing what you do!

Long, long years ago some talented person gave me a small praise point rug for the bedroom. Half of the prairie points were stitched in rows from the middle with points facing to one end( the width end) and the other half stitched from the middle with the points facing to the other width’s end. It was solid blue folded squares folded exactly like yours. I recall it held up to a great many washing being on the floor.
I was impressed with the points needing no sewing .😊

So happy you guys cut all your pre-cuts. I don't know what the story is with Moda and the other companies that mass produce pre-cuts. They're not as straight anymore, it's almost like these giant companies don't care about the product as much as the product brings to the table.

“Just grab it by the prairie points” sounds like something a sports coach should be saying 😂

Hi Donna I am a beginner. Through quarantine I made four prairie point table runners. My ten year old grand daughter made one. We watched your you tube. I want you to make a you tube for a Halloween wreath. I need more Christmas charm squares for gifts. I like flower squares. Louise

I very much liked this project. This is an idea for me to try for a “just because I thought of you” gift to give. But, then, I also have some fabric scraps of reds & greens designs that I believe I can put together a table runner for the holiday season. So, Thank You, for bringing another idea to my mind. I really like how all the fabric points kinda dress up the runner. My kitchen theme is of “John Deere” tractors, so that brings to my thoughts of various green colored fabrics to bring some “pop” colors to my table. I’m happy in my ideas…😊💕🇺🇸

Donna, I have watched this a number of times. I think it’s time I experiment with prairie points. You make it look so easy. Thank you for the motivation and inspiration.

How many prairie points does it take

@@danahunt9157 33, 5 inch squares for the runner and 44 points, if you want to lay it out like she does.
