This game damn well deserves a sequel!! The first one was great and a good long play!! If the sequel can keep the charm and decent story of the first while adding even more original Final Fantasy characters Id snatch it up day one no problem!!!♡
Unfortunately this means the game is unlikely to recieve a sequel unless Sqaure Enix decides much later they need to buy time to keep Final Fantasy fans ingaged before a FF 16 release which would likely be next gen. If Sqaure Enix had any interest in developing a sequel it would already have begun as the team is ready and the script is written. Maxima is robably being used to gauge interest and it doesnt like like it is making many sales. Who knows though well see.
World of Final Fantasy is the best Final Fantasy game since XIII. Anyone who hasn't played it or is put off by the chibi style, give it a shot, it deserves so much more attention than it has gotten!
... FFXIII Really isn't a good comparison to make when complementing a game... I personally thought it was okay... But a Lot of people quit the franchise due to that trilogy...

Playing this for the first time and really loving how the mirages have a leveling system similar to the dream eaters from Dream Drop Distance. Never really felt joy in catching monsters in video games as much as I have here since playing pokemon red as a kid. I mean, stumbling across the holy dragon and then finding out how to catch it as soon as you can is a feeling unmatched all. Good game, but Lann shut up.
Just realized something because of this video the Coreul that is added in Maxima had both its forms concepted during original WoFF development. The Coreul itself is featured in the logo of WoFF despite never appearing in the original game and the (presumed) baby form of it is being pet by Reynn in one of the animated scenes you had in this video. Wonder how many mirages they designed that they ended up shelving for the original.
Yesterday I pre bought this game off the eshop and cannot wait to play it for the first time. It looks amazing and a lot of my favorite final fantasy characters appear to be in this game. I subbed as well.

Dropkicks and rootbeer it would be cool but it is unlikely FFX already has three characters in WoFF as it is so it is up there in the count of cameos. If any FFX character is likely my guess would be Kimahri (he featured in Meli Melo).
I got this game on Steam when it was released last November, but my AMD GFX card had so many missing textures. I played through the whole game, but there were sequences that were unplayable due to this. Like the minigame to get Maudin. It took AMD and Square months and months to fix that. I recorded and uploaded the streams to my channel. In some of the cutscenes Lann was missing his arm when he transformed it into the big gauntlet. Their dad was invisible when he was a ghost. It made some scenes really weird.
I wonder if they're gonna add more KH or einhänder characters into the mix...I'm not actively pushing for it but I'd like to see your theory on multiple dimensions come true.
This might be weird, but one of my favorite things about this game was the jokes and satire. I loved how goofy and genuinely funny it was at times lol. And the puns, don't forget about the puns.
the way that woff was able to implement new features while still feeling more like a ff game than xv still baffles me to this day, the fact that they released the games so close to each other seemed like even square felt that way and released woff for whoever wants a more ff-esque game
Man, not sure if I'm gonna pick this up or not. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I already double dipped on PS4 and Vita. If there was a Switch physical version, it would make the decision a lot easier.

Yeah! I will definitely pick it up. It's a surprisingly good game. I also like how it released physically with a cute artbook box for the collector's edition. Definitely one of the best recent FF titles in my opinion. 💕
I know this video is old as of todays date 17/06/20! But I absolutely love the World Of Final Fantasy Maxima Xbox One version! I'm not that far into it, just made it to the pirate ship! I so want a DLC & a sequel! I'd also love if they turned it into an MMORPG with the two forms for characters & the collecting of monsters! Also with the world crossover from all FF games! But that is my wish & my thoughts! ;)

Honestly im looking forward to this along with Spyro on November, shuld be a nice month, then we got KH3 next year to look forward too! I just pray that u dont have to restart the whole game to do some of this dlc as im currently about half way thru on my PC playthru, overall tho it looks like a nice lick of paint for an already great game, i personally still prefer this over FF15 though, it acutally kinda reminds me of DQ11 a bit, with all the puns and funny moments, though its taken t a whole new level and isnt "controlled" like DQ11 is, but hey i still love it. Honestly though i really hope they do a Sequel (and not a phone game Sequel plz) maybe Lann and Reynn end up in the world of Jiants after going through the portal? and then that becomes under threat, would be a nice switch around from Chibi to Jiant style of the NPCs, ofc they can still switch between the 2 as needed ;), Chibi form could be used to maybe fit under small ledges or gaps, either way id love to see one made

I know no wants a spoiler, but a secret ending of Maxima just appeared. Revealing a hint of what really happened to the twins at the end of the story and possibly a sequel. It show's Lann has gauntlets in both arms and his out searching for Reyne who is missing. I wish the next sequel will have Enna and Wyn as playable characters and have 3 teams in the party.
I got the Switch version when it came out and I got the true ending within a few days and I fucking loved it. I think that WOFF is amazing and I would love a sequel for SURE!

It's actually a good game if you like turn based combat and, like to spend time grinding out exp (not hardcore though) to level up different monsters and use their abilities. Like Pokémon, Digimon, and various other old school jrpgs etc. Bought it just to have something to fill the void but ended up loving it way more than anticipated.

It's been a long time since I last played a Pokemon game, the last JRPG I played was Final Fantasy Type 0 HD and I just couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried to.
I love WoFF, but the Vita version I owned in the past was glitched so it had absolutely no audio. It was only after I finished it when the patched this problem.

Enna was chatting to the 'big bridge' version of Alexander that she defeated to have her position as prime A world god. Theres also a prequel backstory about a certain hero beating the Diabolos King and his kingdom. Sounds like an interesting little add, I think Shelke mostly ventured into that story if memory serves :D

With the way champions are so Op and previews show them alone, your think they're stronger than they are when you get to use them, but they're just skins with 2 passives, or one active ability and one passive. You can't even use their skills if they're alone, lol. Don't ask me what I expected 🤣🤣 refer to their misleading trailer 🤔

Although considering FF characters have supposedly being phased out of Kingdom Hearts 3 I'd say it might not happen simply because Square might not want to pursue it. If the current direction they are going for is to distance these two franchises.

I've never played World of Final Fantasy. I might look into it after i finish Dragon Quest 11
It's pretty good, though the story is mostly focused on the cameos and world.
That's kinda funny bought it and beat it just before dq11 came out in had to rush so I could play dragon quest
