I want to know how he explained this to the crowd. Or if the crowd just instinctually knew what note to hit since Jacob lead them in a manner that was most logical and musically intuitive. Just brilliant. I could watch this all day
He doesn't even explain. He usually does this at around the end of the show I believe and he just gives each side a note, and they just follow instinctively. It's fascinating that our instincts can bring something as beautiful as this.
@@mastersta5267 yeah I think that’s a crucial point. He’s mostly known by people who play instruments or sing so pretty much anyone going to his concert would be musically inclined
He directs them to follow the scale step by step and note by note, which they can do instictively. He directed them to notes that cause dissonance and then ressolve, even though they may not have all understood that while singing.
I was there, front row on the left. It wasn’t a concert, it was an experience. Mind blowing. Jacob, you are a real multi-instruments player: piano, guitar, drums, bass, … and also audience!!!

It's insane how we have forgotten the ancient art of sound , when voices corralled together with pure intention and purpose, great things have been achieved. We have these testaments of time all around us, on every continent and in every timeline

Wow. Wow wow wow wow! To be able to conduct a large audience of strangers like this with varying talent for singing and have it sound beautiful like this….I’m at a loss for a word to accurately describe it other than awe-inspiring
There are multiple reasons why I think this is the epitome of Music as a whole. I'm not going to talk about the human instrumental aspect because already it is above and beyond all that we thought was capable of not. The visual representation of music in this video is something that I have never felt before in my life. The concept of good and evil, ying and Yang, major and minor; is represented beyond a musical level here. The Italian audience sang 70% out of key and Jacob saw it as an opportunity to create bliss. A moment of musical majesty that I can only hope is replicated on a larger scale and musical perfection would be unobtainable. The sign of a harmonical genius

You have misled good people for your own gain. Enjoy your guilt. Think about it. Kids will be enslaved, mind & body because of your lie. You know it is untruth, else why would you have begged pardon?
We ought to care for, teach, and protect our fellow humans, not dupe them into joining a cult that routinely blinds the eyes and cripples the minds of its innocent, faithful, undeserving followers. The person you repLIED to was speaking about the natural state of humans, the way we were before people like your leaders appeared and began poisoning us with lies & techno-fakery.
The fact that humanity could be made to work in such harmony got me emotional. Amazing.
work in literal harmony, too. Thats enough to make anybody cry fr

Couple of altos and baritone in the audience that links everything together

@@thomascowan2330 clearly some were pros or knew their stuff in the audience
But in Rome we have the best pros between the pros this is why was worth posting the video. Even rats sing in Rome...and even them grow on pizza.😜
Definitely a spiritual thing going on here. Love it🙏❤️
Definitely. As an atheist I feel I can dispute deities. But human spirituality is undeniable. We have evolved to feel as one, together.
actually science completly explained that, more ppl in the same room with a good acoustic who all follow the same person who know music will always lead to great harmony.

Humans are breathtakingly beautiful creatures without having to imply the supernatural
I agree, I call myself an atheist most of the time, but moments like these, or even singing in choir will at times just feel so spiritual and supernatural. I love it
@@ThePopeOfAllDope Spirituality isn't an atheist thing.
I want to know how he explained this to the crowd. Or if the crowd just instinctually knew what note to hit since Jacob lead them in a manner that was most logical and musically intuitive. Just brilliant. I could watch this all day
People just know. Bobby McFerrin has a similar video "directing" an audience and they just follow. It's built in to us
Also alot of actual musicians go to his concerts.
I had a music teacher in high school who used to do this with our class. Taught me more about harmony than anything else in my life.
I was there, front row on the left. It wasn’t a concert, it was an experience. Mind blowing. Jacob, you are a real multi-instruments player: piano, guitar, drums, bass, … and also audience!!!
Awesome experience! Must have been a special moment for sure.
I see you there. Your happy soul leaving an imprint

That's utterly amazing. Just imagine the beauty we could create if we all came together.

Absolute chills. This is what the Bible calls “being in one accord.” No one is trying to show up anyone else, but everyone working together for one goal.

Multiply that audience choir times several billion. Now can you imagine such beautiful unity in heaven especially when every voice agrees with every other voice on everything?

This is the most beautiful thing I've heard in years. 😭❤️
When you are part of hundreds of people singing in unison you become something different just by being there. This is incredible, just amazing!!!

It is lovely how that requires no language other than music.
Dude I have the chills from hearing and seeing it through the screen I can only imagine how it felt for the guy coordinating and the audience. Pure serotonin release
Wait til Heaven!!!
So many humans singing together, it's honestly beautiful. Music is a part of our species, inculcated in us for millennia. Look how many people were able to instinctively follow the instructions without having any prior music knowledge. I would love for all of us to come together once, just like this, and sing our hearts out to mother earth
that many voices singing the same notes is just breathtaking
Beautiful. I t makes me so happy.
This honestly gave me chills and made me tear up just a little bit. That was beautifully done.
Man, i got the chance in high school to go to a music festival in the Midwest where a couple states picked kids to go and sing. I got the chance to sing with about a thousand other people and that experience is something I'll never forget lol. So incredible.
My so was chosen to attend one exactly how you’re describing it. It still blows me away. He still remembers the smallest details of the experience three years later. Congratulations on being chosen, yourself!

It's insane how we have forgotten the ancient art of sound , when voices corralled together with pure intention and purpose, great things have been achieved. We have these testaments of time all around us, on every continent and in every timeline

Magic happens when people sing together, like this.
Wow. Wow wow wow wow! To be able to conduct a large audience of strangers like this with varying talent for singing and have it sound beautiful like this….I’m at a loss for a word to accurately describe it other than awe-inspiring
Most of the people attending his concerts are musicians themselves and can sing which comes in pretty handy
I could watch this on repeat for hours. Truly spectacular.
