Whoever says the sound quality is garbage is listening to this on shit speakers, because for not being recorded plugged directly into the sound board this sounds pretty decent all things considered
Come on now. However good you think the sound is on this video, the house mix would be a lot better. Wasn't there a paid option for concert goers to stream the house mix to their phones with specific mic/instrument isolations at this concert? I thought Lawrence started that in a prior tour.
Thank you for putting this out there I am still New to Lawrence and hearing them cover one of my all time favorite songs made my day so much better, and now I have a new Deep Dive to do on youtube with Jacob Collier... that whole performance gave me chills it was so good.
Sarah Jane Morris was one if my favorite Singers, when I was in my early Twentys. This video, 30 Years later, is absolutely amazing. Thank you, Sarah, you are wonderfull.
When you have a crowd, they always tend to sound pretty much right on -- as a group. I've seen a bunch of audience-direction sings, and it's astonishing but consistent.
i really enjoyed most of it, thought the consept was great and the preformance as well. All though I must say I think there was a bit of undesicion wether the saxsaphone takes off with a solo, or the singer. If it was intended to let the singer go crazy the sax should not have as well, vice versa. It did sound good but just a bit messy in my opinion. Of course that's my personal opinion I'm sure there was an idea behind it.
@@billmccomb4629 Yeah, it really drops out when the actual music kicks in. Sorry 'bout that! I wasn't exactly trying to be a professional videographer here, I actually only grabbed it for a friend - didn't expect so many comments, etc. May just unlist it.
@@JPRuskin No, don't unlist it - it's fantastic! The audio quality, while not studio quality, is plenty good enough to preserve the memory in a quality way and this video put a smile on my face. Gutted I missed the gig (was considering the Saturday gig, don't know if JC featured in that one), so I'm glad I found this!
Lawrence would be so good if that girl stopped trying so hard to imitate and found her own voice. That nasaly garbage gets so old. It stands out 2hen her brother is such a great singer.
dude, that's literally Gracie's voice. she isn't trying to imitate anyone, because she is already a phenomenal singer. whine about it more if you must, tho.
Live music is alive and well and these folks are the best of the best.
I was at this show. It was amazing being a part of the audience choir ❤
Where was it? I wish to be thereeeee!
same! it was immense. Really emotional actually!!!
I was there too. Totally epic.
Felipe - it was at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, London on 5 July 2024. The first show of their Family Business tour.
Was this improvised???!!
Oh how lucky! Must have been sooo fun, so awesome!
Love how the one saxophone player just stands there soaking it all in for most of the song
I don't think people appreciate just how amazing it is to be alive with an IRL August Rush
What an amazing concentration of musical ability. And Jacob in his PJs and all. To die for...

@@iroulis "sounds pretty decent all things considered" doesn't mean "better than the house mix". 🤦
Music is the heartbeat of the human soul. This is why listening to the audience chorus in videos moves us to tears

I was priviledged to experience Jacob in Boston this year. If you haven't gone, GO
Damn, they said Freddie Mercury had control of the audience… Jacob topped that!!
Jacob is like a superhero, showing up in pajamas and creeping around
😂😂😂
Clydes phrasing is just awesome! Genius reborn! 🕶️
This is pure magic 🌟
Maestro of the masses
The weed and stars pajamas are a vibe.
They're flowers. I thought the same thing. 😂
Thanks for sharing - I wanted to buy tickets, but then my wife said she didn't want to come. I should have just gone on my own without her.
She should have an interest in your interests for two hours... 🤔
Of course!
I'm going to a Collier concert in Nov. 😅🙏
Get those pipes ready 🎶🎶
Wow wow! This is moving!
Just extraordinary.
These kids are the real deal!!
love it. Thank you for sharing.

This is the only time I’ve seen him correct the crowd on their notes
Holy shit…that beginning is absolutely insane!!!
Benjamin Britten is smiling down on this man.
next Friday I will be in Marciac to enjoy his show !!!!!!
Sooooooo many pitch perfect singers in the audience. :-)

Its not Pitch Perfect. You can put 50-100 non singers and they will do good aswell.
Chills.
I was at the second concert at that venue the day after - fantastic concert but I'm sad I missed this!
seems like Jacob improvise that last chord, look Gracie and Clyde faces 😂
I think that too😅
Thank you. This is witness to one of the greatest musical geniuses in human history.
Who else is amazed by the vowel changes?😅
This is amazing - what a gig to have missed! Did JC show up in any other songs?
He did show up earlier in the set, for some of the acoustic numbers! It was a real surprise for me, at the time, but an excellent one!
WOW!
Awesome 👍
yeeah! nice video!!
awesome
Good grief!
Wow
Anyone know who the female singer is?
@@mascogni5952 that's Gracie, of the band Lawrence.

I love Lawrence, and Jacob Collier is just icing on the cake.

Why? He’s so unmusical? Look mom. I am a triad.

Looks like it was fabulous; but the audio quality is poor and I could barely hear anything.
Vibe comes straight through for me!

Gracie's pretty great, man. She might mature as an artist still, but I don't hear imitation.

@@nasmoplays6025 Gracie has that unique voice that easily slides between breast and head voice. And her timbre is one in a million.
