This is my 1998 BMW E39 520i single vanos.
In the last episode I managed to get the car running, but it was very rough. But now it won't run at all. Let diagnose this crank no start issue. Should be a very similar procedure for other BMWs like e36 and e46.

Sure, some brake cleaner will do the trick.

Battery light *
Yeah, gotta look into that battery light. It's a new battery and alternator is charging.
