I have watched the media attempt to destroy so many talented black artists such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Rick James to name a few simply as they were black full of musical talent and King's of funk, rock and pop. Who else will stand by these King's after the attempt of destruction except Stevie Wonder and Minister Farrakhan. Did noone spot when Eddie said after Mick Jagger met him, Mick changed his look dressing like him and swelling his lip. He was speaking on behalf of Rick James, alot of the bands we know took influence from Rick James.. David Bowie spoke out how MTV did not play black artist music videos at the time. Rick stated they refused to play his videos even though he was in the top five in the US charts. SNL now I believe must be related to MTV thought it suitable to attempt to destroy Prince and Rick James on the basis of Eddie's brother's envy of hanging around with Rick and his fame which exists to this day. I'm a huge fan of Rick James. I hope he gets inducted to the hall of fame, has a star on the Hollywood walk and any movie should be done with his families consent. His legacy continues. RIP Rick James.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rick James at one of his performances. He was a VERY nice human being. Rick James was his alter ego, but James Ambrose Johnson was a down to earth and intelligent man, a loving man. I admired him because he lived life on his terms. The Lord truly blessed him with his wonderful talent. Beautiful homegoing service! May he continue to RIP. 🙏🏽🙌🏽 He's gone but his spirit and his music legacy lives on. He will never be forgotten.❤️🌹🎤🎸
