I fully believe that Encanto is the next Disney movie that will become a Disney Channel series. Like what they did to Tangled, but Encanto is seemingly built for television. So many characters that can carry entire episodes on their own
I mean they're making a Moana Disney+ show, and a Cars show, so it wouldn't surprise me.

My little brother (who was like 7 at the time) did get that evangelion movie for Christmas one year because my parents had the "Cartoons are for kids" mentality.
Imagine their shock when they found out he got suspended from school when he brought that movie during his turn for Movie Friday.

Love Jack acknowledging that Encanto is mainly about generational trauma but immediately ignored it and was like "plot is just house broke now fixed".
I think he might make a distinction between plot and character development. Character development is internal stuff happening, plot is external stuff happening. If a movie is mainly about characters healing from emotional scars, he might not consider it as having much "plot."
Was not at all mentally prepared for Jack to promote ISWM but I'm so fucking hyped because of it.

What I've gathered from this YIAY is that Jackfilm and Erin go full lizard-brain when watching movies
As someone that's watched Markiplier's content for years llke since 2015 which is sadly a long time by now. It's awesome to give that shoutout to such a small RUclipsr in dying need of advertising and attention. Thank you Jonattacksfilms. Massive respect to him seriously. That guy is great. I get to hear someone’s opinions on something without it being dragged out for too long or without it really interrupting the overall flow. It’s nice :)

All the music in that movie fit and was synced so well! The plot is just decent, but it's definitely a great watch.

JACK I’ve been a fan from the beginning and subscribed and clicked the bell YEARS ago. A week ago I wondered why you stopped posting only to see a ton of videos that I had missed because apparently the algorithm knows what I’d like more than myself. Just pointing out that when I noticed I unsubscribed and subscribed again just to see if that has an effect on the algorithm and lo and behold this was recommended not even 10 min after you posted. Thought I’d share in case you see it because the current RUclips algorithm is actual dogwater.

My mother and sister both watched Encanto, in the living room, with me and my sister's room neighboring it, and I was able to listen to the movie twice from their viewings (because I was in our room), and when I guessed what the movie was all about based on the two times I Audible'd the movie, sis told me I couldn't be more right

12:33 fun fact: Tenet is the center word from the so called "Sator-square". it's a kind of ancient latin wordplay consisting of a 5 by 5 square in which all 5 words read the same from left to right, right to left, top to bottom and bottom to top. The whole movie is based around it. Not only around the concept of inversing things but also around the included words like Sator (the bad guy), Arepo (the painter), Tenet (the secret organisation and movie title), opera (the opening scene) and rotas (the freeport company and latin for wheel as in the inversion chambers).

I almost watched Evangelion with my parents. When it came out on Netflix I watched the first few episodes in the living room and they popped in every once in a while to see what was up. I never got to anything bad (I still don't know too much about the show) but I stopped because I thought "the original must be better. I'll wait and watch that." From what I can tell, I dodged a bullet
The show is mostly safe pre episode 16 but End of Evangelion (the movie) is something I would not recommend watching with your parents.
