- The July Garden Tour is filled with hydrangeas, rudbekias, coneflowers, zinnia, dahlias, pincushion flower, lisianthus, cup and saucer vine, and so much more! I grow the majority of my cut flowers in the landscape and sell them at our farmstand. Thanks so much for joining me for a full garden tour in July!

Your garden is beautiful! I just can’t even begin to imagine what heaven will look like, I hope we’ll all be able to have a beautiful garden of our dreams and I can spend time with you and Laura and other You Tube creators that have inspired me. 🌸💚🙃 Maybe we can honor the Lord with beautiful blooms from our gardens🌸💚🙃
I am so looking forward to making a gorgeous garden right here in the paradise soon to come!
Amen!
Beautifully said!💖🌸🌿🙌🏼
@@daygirl2659 Thank you 🌸💚🙃
Well said!
It would be interesting to see this from the air.
August is hard! You could write a gardener's devotional, encouraging us all through the month.
Danielle I wanted you to know that you've inspired me to join the Master Gardener program through Ohio State University Extension. Classes start in September and I am so very excited!!
This is my favorite time in your garden. This is the look I want. This definitely is the style I would love
It still blows my mind that Hummingbird Way was just put in this spring. Proof it does not have to take yrs for a garden to look full and lush. I also like the idea of a potager garden by the driveway. A ring of lavender or clives would be nice, around the birdbath. Thinking of Garden Answers border at the raised veg bed, and Erin at the Impatient Gardener and her clives around her oval bed. Thanks for removing the bags to show the dahlias.
Your gardens are glorious and your narration is so calming. Bobo is my favorite hydrangea and the variety I repeat the most around my garden. I have some that receive sun from sunrise to sundown as well as some that are only in AM sun until about noon. The entire shrub is covered in full lacey panicles and they turn the loveliest blush color. I hard prune mine every year because they are fairly close to other plants and they stay compact and perfectly round, being very dense and sturdy. Zone 8PNW
ElleWA - can I ask how tall your Bobos get? Do they grow taller than the label says? Thank you!
@@karibarta7818 I just measured and they are in the 3-3.5 foot range. I have a hedge of 5 planted 30" apart and they are 38" tall but some new blooms are still elongating. The ones dotted here and there are 32"-42." This is the 5th growing season and I started with 1 and 2 gallon plants. I do prune them down pretty hard to a little under knee height (maybe 14"?). They would probably grow to the max size if I did not do this, but I really like how fluffy they are the way down and I get some good sized blooms. I hope this helps :)
Thanks for the encouragement Danielle! Heat & pests are strong right now. What keeps me gojjng is the lil' surprises in my garden...a new type of bloom, a new butterfly, returning goldfinches...
For winter interest, I love the Proven Winners Arctic Fire Red dogwood. It has beautiful red stems in the winter. PW also has Arctic Sun dogwood with beautiful yellow, orange, and coral stems. We have a Witch-Hazel plant as it produces yellow flowers in the winter for the hummingbirds. We have Anna's hummers all year long in western WA Zone 8b. Thanks for another great tour!
I just love love love your garden!! I just planted today three puffer fish hydrangea today!! 🌸🌸
Oh my how did you get them? PW just put out a sneak peak and it says they won't come out till 2023. Lucky you😊
@@marykennedy3351 proven winners direct has them!!
I’m only in the introduction to your video, but you are so kind-hearted. ❤️ Not to mention your garden is beautiful and full of inspiration! 🌻
Hello! Great video. Beautiful flowers! I'm very happy for you! I wish you and your loved ones happiness and health👍🌻🌸🌺💐💗
Danielle, your garden is wonderful! It’s funny when you mention pests and problems. I know we all have them, but RUclips gardens don’t look like it.😆 Thank you for always showing and sharing with us!
To prevent theft with your flower stand you could place them in a large crate structure. Like one that’s made for a large dog. You could put a lock on it with a sign telling people to knock on your door for assistance.😊
I am always so excited whenever you do a garden tour. Thank you for taking the time to share your garden with us… all of your gardens are so beautiful and you put so much love into them. Danielle, you were the one who inspired me to grow flowers from seeds ❤️
Amazing garden! My gosh those Hydrangeas are stunning. I have killed so many trying to grow them in this heat and drought Texas. I wouldn't know what to think of that much beauty.
Hi Danielle this year your garden looks better than ever 😍, I wanted to suggest adding Oakleaf Hydrangeas they are very elegant and adaptable personally I’m obsesses with them. Your grandma garden looks so pretty 🤩 thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Beautiful! I've decided to use more shrubs in my garden to reduce the maintenance. Can't wait to see your future developments in your garden.
Thank you for taking the time to show us your garden and projects! I know that takes a lot of work and makes your projects take longer. You inspire me in my garden and I truly appreciate you 😊
Absolutely beautiful. I appreciate your expertise and learn so much from you. Your neighbors are so lucky! 💚
Watching this video felt like going on vacation. Here in Montana, we had a bad hailstorm three weeks ago and it ruined most of my gardens. Heartbreaking. It amazes me how fast your hydrangea room has filled in. Everything is just beautiful. As always.
I love all of Northlawn Flower Farm’s hydrangeas! So far there’s no luck in my yard getting any hydrangeas to come back more than six inches, and I’ll have to ensure more sun in future placements. In the meantime, Danielle gives me that beauty!
I had Bobos in my last garden and I think they would look awesome there if you move the lilacs, another smaller option is Firelight tidbit, also gorgeous 😍 !! NEVER too many hydrangeas!
Beautiful your Danielle! Your garden has never looked better, and that hydrangea room is a heavenly dream! So peaceful and beautiful! If I haven’t said recently, I absolutely LOVE ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️your channel and have learned so much from you and always feel inspired to try new plants ( even though I’m in 9b Northern California). My grandma lived in Philadelphia for her years in nursing school. Beautiful state in Pennsylvania. Thank you for all of your hard work and inspiration for all of us! ❤️❤️❤️🌼🌻🪴🌷🧑🏻🌾
This garden is amazing. I have tried for 20 years to create a beautiful garden where I stay, but had to deal with horrific clay soil, water restrictions, various pests, people who steal roses, wrong positioning, too much shade and a myriad of other problems, so I am shocked that I actually ended up with a garden which has people stunned when they see it
Truly beautiful. Thank you so much. Psalm 91 over all believers.
My goodness, those limelight hydrangeas are bonkers!!
Love love your garden!😻 There’s a lot there but the whole picture is calm and orderly. The flowering shrubs and annuals are well coordinated to complete the restful scene.
So beautiful!! Your yard has come along way since I first started watching you. Great job!!
I absolutely love my Bobo hydrangeas. I think they’d look gorgeous added in to your hydrangea area. Like a finishing touch.
I love the look of stepables between stones. I have some creeping thyme in one spot . Irish moss might work too.
Hello from the North of France. I'm stuck inside...again because of the heatwave and your video popped up. Your garden is stunning and I have to agree with you about the work needed this year to keep it all alive so I am certainly rethinking my garden and have started ordering things to plant in the autumn when/if we get some rain. Worrying times. But at least being stuck inside from 11am to 4pm gives me the opportunity to discover new videos and new ideas 😉. Happy gardening
I love those purple gladiolus. I tried to buy some like that and they turned out to be violet instead of purple. This seems to happen a lot when buying glads. Love your videos. I’ve learned so much! ❤️
Such a beautiful garden!! Do you think you could do a video on which seeds we are able to save that will grow true to the variety? That would be so helpful!
We thank you for sharing a bit of beautiful in this world where so much can be ugly sometimes! All is looking gorgeous
I love my bobo’s they are a great choice for a shorter hedge.
I've had Bobo hydrangeas in my garden for about 3-4 years. Here in central Minnesota (zone 4a) they get about 20"-24" tall. They're always the last to come back in the spring, but I really like them.
Have you started selling bouquets again?
Your garden is sooo pretty..I could sit out there for hours...
Einfach nur himmlisch😇🤩💫👍👏💐
Absolutely beautiful garden and I loved touring your garden with your commentary.
I have BoBo and it's nice, but I prefer my Little Quick Fire Hydrangeas, and think they would look amazing in that space! They are compact with very healthy thick leaves, no bug pressure and start blooming earlier than most Hydrangeas. They start turning pale pink in mid July. (I'm in zone 6B)
Yes I was going to recommend the Little Quick Fire too!!! They are sooooo pretty.
I was going to recommend the same!
We have bobo and little quick fire - and I agree little quickfire is a great choice, but ours get a bit larger and more range-y than our bobo - although clearly all can be trimmed.
Thanks for this advice!
I also have Little Quick Fire and love it. Mine is full sun MI zone 5b and is about 3.5-4 ft tall and wide- prettiest pink right now and will darken to a dark mauve - very low maintenance and dependable hydrangeas- love it. Maybe too large for this front of the border idea though…
Such a nice tour, I really enjoyed it, maybe wee white Hydrangeas will work there in that space, I have Little quick fire which is beautiful, too, Happy gardening!!
I have a couple of Wee White hydrangeas and they are a perfect size for the edge of the border.
Beautiful ❤️ очень понравилась экскурсия по вашему саду, спасибо.
This summer I got a break from watering. We’ve had drought for years but this year it changed. Watering is a brutal chore in the heat of summer. Beautiful garden tour.
I love your gardens…I am moving and getting ready to say goodbye to my 5 year project of transformation my yard into my favorite gardening space. I have taken so many of your tips and tricks to help me make my space into my vision. While I will be sad to say goodbye to this space I look forward to a new yard with space to make many “ garden rooms” that reflect my vision. Thanks for all you teach 💕
A very nice garden. The dahlias are beautiful The lawn is also good. It does look like a lot of work to keep it nice
Wow! That is a BEAUTIFUL GARDEN. it's my first time here, but I'm stunning you garden is something that I just can dream of. Beautiful. 🌻🌷🌸🌿
So proud of you. Your grandma would be amazed and overwhelmed I'm sure with what you have done with this yard------and your amaryllis! I lost that video and was trying to ask where I can get a MAGICAL TOUCH or a MAGNUM. I think Freddy gave me one last year, but I really knew nothing about what it was, so I threw it away thinking it was dead! Oh me.
Hey speaking of names----what about SUZANNE'S SPOT?! LOL
Hahaha!!! Love you Suzanne! Any spot you want is yours!
Comforting, Relaxing n Serene ! Thank you
I have significant hydrangea envy here from Phoenix, Arizona. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.
Beautiful garden Danielle! Thanks for sharing your passion for flowers! Have learned so much from your channel!
Your narration is soothing 😌
Thank you 😊 💓
I had a few ‘Bobo’ hydrangeas at the front of a garden in close to full shade, maybe a couple of hours of sunshine as the sun passed between the house and a large tree. I still see that garden regularly and after at least 5 years the Bobos are still nice and compact with lots of blooms. You might want to pull that bed out just a bit (hard to tell from the picture) and add a very low groundcover…Your gardens are so beautiful and I so appreciate that you share them🌺
What a beautiful garden!🌺🌷🌺🌷🌺🌷🌺🌷🌺🌷🌺
Always a pleasure to see your garden!
This is amazing! I love your garden thank you for sharing it with us.🦋🌹🌞🌺
Your garden is stunning! Love all of the cozy rooms.
I don't think your garden could be more perfect. It's exactly what I've always wanted
Love your garden… I learn so much! You are a sweetheart!!!!!
Wow so many new beautiful things since I was last able to watch! You are amazing!
You've already named it hydrangea annex, I think that's the name 🤣 can't change it now! I love your tours so much. I appreciate hearing your dreams and plans. And it's nice to know it's ok to not like all parts of your gardens!
Love your garden! I think the name: "Hydrangea Lane" sounds proper!😁
This year the garden is at its prime. Beautiful!
The italian water garden is our family's favorite at Longwood too. We were just there last week and it was stunning! Loved this tour!❤
Love your globe fountain. Such a beautiful garden.
Your garden is so beautiful Julie, I love it ❤️
I saw bunch of Dollar signs and time. Good job
Gorgeous tour! I love your visions for change. I’m still changing mine, even though I’ve been gardening for over twenty years! It’s fun.
Love that your garden is ever changing, thanks for sharing, I can never get enough 😁😁😁
I’ve enjoyed your garden tour so much.
The hydrangea cuddle room 💐💐
I always look so forward to your tours!!! I need one every week!
yes to the bobo hydrangeas. They only get 2 1/2 feet tall and are wonderful shrubs with lots and lots of blooms.
Thank you for the tour, we appreciate you and all your wonderful flower tips. Btw you garden is beautiful, very greatful for your blessing sister 💜🙌
My fav part of the garden is gramas chair, a very beautiful inspiration 😇 i one day hope to recreate that in my own yard in respect for my grandma and great grandma💗💜
Plain and simple I love your show
Lovely tour!!! I love how you have mixed your cutting flowers into a beautiful landscape plan! I wish I could call you up and ask you a ton of questions! 😉 I hope to turn our in-town front yard into garden rooms, like you have done. Hearing you talk about the stages you are going through to get where you are going is so helpful. I do tend to bite off more than I can chew! 😝
First question would be, how do you fight that pesky grass that sends out runners into EVERY corner of the yard? I feel that if I don't do a wholesale nuking of the entire front, than I will be fighting that grass for eternity.
Next spring I am going to use Preen. Kills weed seeds. Terrible weed year in my zone 3 gardens. I just can't keep up!
What an inspiring garden tour! Thank you so much.
Everything looks wonderful.
I have a hydrangea 'pinky winky' too. I love it. I like the look of 'pufferfish'.
I absolutely love your garden!!! And your joyful kind Spirit 🌟
Thanks for the tour! Beautiful!
Everything looks beautiful!! Love all your hydrangeas and spaces you have created in your yard! 🌸
Your garden is so inspirational! Everything is just beautiful. ❤🌱🌻🌷🦋

Your gardens are heavenly & show the love , knowledge, & hard work you’ve put into them. What a wonderful place to walk thru & enjoy. Thank you for sharing & hope you have a great day. 😊💐
Miss D! So beautiful! Thanks for the tour ❤ Linda in Vancouver
Your garden is beautiful! I love it all but I'd have to say that I love the hydrangea room and humming bird way the best. Can't wait to see what you're going to come up with next year.
Seeing the Lisianthus I was so sad. My garden center didn’t have any and I tried to grow them from seed without any success! Yours are beautiful!
Thank you so much for sharing your time, energy, beauty and knowledge with us.
Wow! Beautiful, si nice. Thank you.
Wooow... ❤❤❤
Soooo beautifull... 👏👏😍🤩
