    This is the first time I’ve seen your garden, and it’s beautiful. Great idea to pack your plants in tightly so you don’t have to mulch the beds. Thanks for the info.

    Beautiful garden. Did you sheet mulch over Bermuda grass? If so, did any of it show back up in the flowerbed?

      Yes. It will reemerge. I remain diligent with weeding and mulching as needed.

    Gorgeous Rubeckia and Echinacea. I ENVY you! ... I had the same Rubeckia and Echinacea plants (which I love so much), but rabbits and voles destroyed them within a year (so SAD). As for the Shasta Daisy, are those Alaska Shasta Daisy (due to its height)? ... Overall, your garden is trully marvelous, bravo for your green thumbs 💚

      There are variety of Shasta daisies. I need to do a better job of keeping up with the names of them.

    I have several Tropical Hibiscus and I am finding different answers about correct fertilizer. Can you please tell me the ratio

      I use plant tone on all of my perennials once each year (early spring)

    Just found your channel and LOVE IT! Question! You said you heavily mulch the area to keep weeds from coming through. So how do plant the flowers? Do you plant them before mulching or after? I would think the mulching would smother the new shoots coming in. Trying to learn all I can. I guess I need to find first what zone Virginia is in. 😂

      I do both. It’s easier to plant then sheet mulch or you can sheet mulch and wait a few months before cutting through the cardboard

    What is the species of the Lambs Ear? Yours look silver/white and .trying to find a light color contrast for my flower bed. Your flowers bed is stunning - you've done a great job!

    I just stumbled onto this video. I love your garden! And I sure do love a nice edge such as yours.... doesn't it make a garden look so sharp, even if there are weeds? I think I spied a Vitex (Chaste Tree.) What zone are you in? Does it die down to the ground where you live? I really want one. There is a new pink variety that apparently bees LOVE.

    Well done! It's gorgeous! Please tell us are you schlepping tons of bags of mulch and topsoil from a garden center or are you having it delivered by a mulch person???

      I get a delivery of compost from Soil3 and I schlep the bags of mulch from the garden center. 😆😁

    What kind of sun does this spot get? I have a wooded backyard and can’t figure out what to do with the border between the “woods” or natural area and my yard perimeter. I’m in Fort Mill - so same neck of the woods.

    Your flower bed is so beautiful. This is what I want to do in my garden but have absolutely no clue on how to plant the flowers. Could you please do a video on how you group and plant the flowers. I have the same flowers in my garden, however, I planted them randomly and it doesn't look nice like yours. I would really appreciate it if you would do a drawing and explain on paper on how you plant the flowers in drifts. Many thanks in advance.

    Is time viewer. You garden is very pretty. Weeds, I've been fighting an invasive grass that I've been pulling for years. The worst is that it comes up in the center of my perennials, but I'm happy that it is spring, and after these three days of rain the weeds will be easy to pull

    Beautiful! My kind of garden! I love cottage gardens and dense planting! What variety of Lambs ear is that? I have lambs ear but its big leaf and i have some thats smaller leaves but is not neat and compact like yours is! Beautiful garden!

      I’m not very sure. They are the old fashion kind. They don’t bloom. I have one variety that does bloom.
