Is Citricos the BEST Restaurant at Walt Disney World? Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

- Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is known for its Victorian Era elegance and high end cuisine. During our recent trip to Narcoossee's we were blown away by the atmosphere and quality. The most expensive restaurant at Walt Disney World, Victoria & Albert's, is located at this resort. Next to Victoria & Albert's you can find Citricos.
Originally opening in 1988 with the Grand Floridian as an Italian Restaurant called, Flagler's, Citricos changed its theme, name and cuisine in 1997. Now boasting a menu focusing mostly on high quality and locally sourced Florida fare. More recently, the interior decor went through a makeover that brought to life a light Mary Poppin's Return theme.
During our adventure trying to find our favorite Walt Disney World restaurant, many of our subscribers asked where Citricos lands on our list of favorites. Since Sam had never formally dined here before we considered our stay at the Grand Floridian the perfect occasion to see how Citricos compares to the greats and lands on our leader board of favorite Disney World restaurants. We go over the decor, signature cuisine, history and atmosphere during our dinner; and try to see if this is secretly the best restaurant on Disney World property.

Hi Guys, just so you know… if you make a later reservation, you can see the MK fireworks while you dine, they are beautifully framed by the large windows, very romantic. Everything about the restaurant is so pretty and it all has Mary Poppins meaning such as the chandeliers that resemble umbrellas, the floral upholstery, carpet and more. Agree with your Top 5 ratings though, Citricos is a strong 6. Love that it can be reached by monorail. Try the steak next time.

Great video. I really appreciate that Sam said that the flavors of the guava short rib might just not have been for her vs "this is bad" that you get from some reviewers. I also love that you review the mocktails!

great review! we ate here last week for the first time! we wanted to treat daughter & son in law for helping us with the move from Boston. He said it was the best filet he'd ever had and he's from Wyoming, they know beef:) congrats on the house! We also got free champagne for celebrating buying our house:)

I'm sorry - I kept rewinding to try to hear your No. 1 pick and just couldn't make it out for some reason. Can you name it again? I got the rest, just couldn't make that one out. We usually eat at Shades of Green when we visit since that's where we stay, but plan on venturing to Disney restaurants for our next trip. We love your reviews. Thanks!

Hey guys. Great review as always. Wifey and I have eaten there so many times we lost count. Every time e come down thats one of our must do's. We absolutely love this place. I always get the tile fish. Have gotten the lamb shank in the past and it was amazing, sad not to see it on the menu. Great wine list for us top shelf wine drinkers. Desserts are always great. Glad you enjoyed it. Top 5 is a tough one. We do like Cali Grill but put Citricos ahead of it. As you said it comes down to personal preference sometimes. Keep the reviews coming, always enjoy them !

We are DVC members and Grand Floridian is one of our home resorts, and believe it or not, we have never been to Citricos 🤷🏻♀️ We definitely have it on our list, just haven’t got there yet. It doesn’t surprise me, I feel like with Narcoossees being so popular, Citricos is kind of an afterthought . It’s a visually stunning restaurant with impeccable service, but the portions were on the small side. Thank you for always leaving such thoughtful comments 😊
Seemed very loud, but otherwise good atmosphere. I'm still planning to try Narcoosies. California Grill had a wonderful strawberry salad about 5 years ago. I don't know if they still serve.
It did start to get loud towards dessert time. We’ll try to be more cognizant with the microphone. We personally would choose Narcoossees over this, but not because we think it’s bad by any means. Cali Grill has a prix fixe menu now 😭 Thanks for watching!

Hello TPF's🎉 text from Frank made my night! I'm starting to think maybe Jiko should be #1 😂. Every time you bring up all the delicious food from there, I can't wait to eat there. We really want to eat here, too. Such a pretty place and beautiful food. And I agree, very cool tableware. Cappuccino is my drink... Agree, Narcoossees has the better views & fits our food preferences more. I will say the decor is very well done and the service was incredible though!
I heard of this place before but I didn’t know anything about it. Never on my list. I think one day but not anytime soon. I don’t like small portions.

Thank you, sometimes we do like to keep it paced and moving to keep it engaging, but sometimes there are things that just need to be cut due to privacy or audio issues etc and I think that's what happened in this video- sorry!

😍even the menu is pretty. The clam chowder looks like a Manhattan but Manhattan is tomato based😀 type chowder. i do think its the best looking restaurant but i think id still be hungry
