WEIRD Russian MRE ⚠️ 24-HOUR Hiking Ration GARSING Camping & Outdoor Meal Ready To Eat Taste Test

- This is a meal kit I haven't seen reviewed elsewhere. It's a 24-hour ration very similar to the Russian Military IRP, but this MRE is marketed towards civilians as a camping, hiking, and outdoor meal kit. The components are virtually identical to those of Russian Federation Meals Ready to Eat. Unfortunately, my review example suffered some damage in shipping, but what did survive was as good as any military field ration.
Thanks for watching!

The black pod thing amidst the buckwheat is just an unshelled buckwheat grain. Buckwheat has these tiny shells or husks that need to be removed before it's eaten, and normally you spot the shells and remove them before you cook the kasha, but obviously you're not given that option here. Only the highest quality buckwheat here in Russia is completely devoid of occasional inclusions like that that make it through automated sorting. It's nothing dangerous though.
Hi! It's awesome to hear input from someone who really knows what this stuff is supposed to look and smell like! That's my biggest drawback from eating foreign rations-not knowing what the actual fresh variation should taste like.
в детстве в ручную фильтровали гречку)) Сейчас лень, а детей заставлять это делать даже не хочу
Cool, Thanks 🙏
I have ordered and eaten both russian and french MRE's. The French MRE is the best IMO.
Bud you definitely earned the Steve1989 award for this meal. Definitely some sketchy food going on here.
Well you posted it! So that means you survived the highly questionable chicken
I’m happy you survived the Carolina Reaper encounter.
Happy New year's to you and your family 🎉🎉🎉
Great review always. Brave man.
Hey Ready i am a bit late .. but one more great review !! THANKS an Ready i have my DP rifle video out tomorrow.
Awesome review RR
Nice
I’m almost positive that was a black peppercorn. Interesting review dude!
You should find a 1987-1995 era U.S. Beef Patty MRE and review it. It was my favorite!!
Frickin' epic Christmas sweater
Hahaha
10:12 it's normal for buckwheat porridge
RR, this is interesting, to say the least? Components I am familiar with. The tins did show some damage. Weakly made, I know. Play it safe on meals! When in doubt, throw it out. You know this already. Veggie caviar, I like, but, I Would use better judgement, agreed. Kasha hard to ruin. You were able to eat most of the meal, so you had A good time. Glad you shared, but, stay safe. Message soon? I need some info and help? Peace, John.
there new one is MRES. Meal ready to Eat + shit 😂😂
i had ww1 British mre and it was amazing and good and ww1 usa mre it was good to
Risky? If nothing is moving and the small doesn't make you puke, your PROBABLY fine. If not a little vomiting and on to the next meal. 😊
(10:10) Rat turds ?
Famous last words; "It looks fine to me. Let's try a little.".
I will be cracking into a Russian winter ration that came in the black and white camo bag, have you tried any of these ???
Skin on roast beef? Lol cow skin is pretty thick. They usually separate it and make leather with it. Not going to find it on anyone's plate.
OMG you are so brave to eat all of that! 😮
You were perhaps playing things a little risky... I can appreciate the fact that you thoroughly heat the entrees, but in the case of botulism and perhaps other pathogens, you might kill off the bacteria but the toxins remain. With that said, some great content!
That’s a shame. So many punctured packages.
It's too bad this ration was in such poor condition. They obviously don't have any consideration for longer storeage. We get spoiled by our US and European rations that can store for many years.
Hardly a fair review given the length of time he kept it
It’s potentially a mixed blessing. I think the Russians are more leery of GMO’s and certain preservatives (at least some of which are actually banned), so when they assign an expiration date, they really mean it. As such it seems like their stuff never holds up well past the expiration date but there are arguably benefits to avoiding the ingredients in question.
Why does all the Russian MRE'S look like cat food?
Did you get sick? I think you we're a bit too risky there. Please be careful in the Future.
I wonder how many Russian civilians actually buy these, whether for camping or prepping? While I know that occasionally a bad lot of U.S. MREs gets through the quality control testers, I cannot imagine being in an army that thinks so little of my life that, before being used as a "blocking force" martyr, but to also know that I won't even be getting a decent meal before my demise!
I'll say more, we have a very popular channel in the Russian segment of RUclips called "Reviews from Solid", which deals only with reviews of dry rations (MRE) and has more than 3 million subscribers. So the residents of Russia are very interested in the topic of dry rations. The problem of survival is at the genetic level.
It’s fun to show off these rations, but be aware of the risk of spoilage, bro.
No risk, no reward
Omg clickbait.
Please tell me how this was clickbait
Don’t look like click bait to me, but maybe Rambo here can show you how it’s done in the field.
the worst ration I've ever tested, Russian MRE 🤮
@@boffa-deez The biscuits taste like old books, the coffee is a thin broth, there is always the same in it, no variations of the menus. I've now tested 2, that's enough.
