Erlend has developed an incredible playing technique which demands a very dynamic amplification solution. So here he is with his amazing tone and feel performing with the Profiler at his Hamburg studio. It was just a magic moment and a huge honor to be able to be there and shoot this performance!
His feel and touch is what makes this special..... You can have players who tap great but there is no heart..... this guys has heart and soul in his playing and that's what everyone is feeling to me :-) Love it :-)

Wow, I've never seen anybody play like that without a pick. It was like Jeff Beck and Van Halen's techniques had a baby and produced Erlend's technique :) Uniquely Superb!

Erlend Krauser is one of the best but highly underrated german guitar players, that's for sure...
he's not german, he's romanian. he was born in Romania.

I've watched this 10 or 12 times now, and am still spellbound. Awesome touch, and awesome tone! If there's a TAB anywhere for the piece, please let me know as it would make for the greatest practice exercise given how many differing techniques are employed. (Or if anyone can point me in the right direction for exercise in this kind of style. Especially the tapping - the melodic lines rather than EVH style arpeggio's sound incredible!)

Hiya, the rigs are on the rig exchange. It is a Tube Thomsen amp and then some tweaks. When the Kemper Website is up again you should be able to find them!

Great demo... and no metal or plexi sounds... I love them both, but they're all over youtube. This sounded very fender/Jeff beck.
