    Congratulations on one million subscribers, Jon. It is well deserved. When I saw the thumbnail, my first thought was that it looks extremely uncomfortable. You then confirmed my thoughts lol.

    Your veneer videos gave me the confidence to apply a laminate top on a project for a customer. With proper planning, the steps you show for veneer, execution went smoothly. Thank you.

    Congratulations Jon. I have been a follower from I think about 10 or more years ago now. I always refer to your videos for assistance and for encouragement to be honest. I have purchased some of your plans and I have built the painted bookcase for my granddaughter who is an avid reader and has it full already, and also the Blanket Chest which we have on our patio with cushions and blankets in it, I also use your push stick all the time from years ago. I appreciate all you do in the woodworking and also in the art department. I am a beginner woodworker and artist but am now in retirement so hope to increase my time in the shop and my art room. I also joined Makers Mob which is very good. Sorry to ramble on and on :)
    Best Regards

    Congrats on a million! I always learn something in every single video. I love the contemporary design of this chair. Visually it’s right up my alley. Not sure it’s the comfiest chair but it looks great, and a couple cushions will take care of the rest. Great work as always - you’ll be at 2M before you know it.

    Jon, I'd be interested to see a few minutes on how you prep that veneer "Press" stick to make it smooth enough to lean on the veneer without scratching etc. Thanks for another informative build.

      They remind me of the chairs made by Frank Lloyd Wright. He always used flat bottoms.

    “Modern” ya no. Bad design overall for a chair

    • @JonPetersArtHome
      @JonPetersArtHome  2 месяца назад

      Well, actually, it was designed and built originally by a very famous artist the original chair made by the artist would sell for well over $1 million…. Reproductions of the chair made by the foundation so far about 6500 each. But it sounds like you know what you’re talking about.
