You must have been seeing those chairs in your sleep after awhile! I was impressed with the strength test, until the next scene - and I thought - Wait, those weren't even glued up yet!!?? Love that little swirl on one of those seats. They remind me a bit of NYC skyscrapers sitting all in a row like that.
Fantastic craftsmanship, I understand all too well how much work went into the shaping of those chair seats especially! Great result, a work of true art and patience.
Hey, I am yet to watch the full video, but I just wanted to say that I love watching and listening to your work. It is so peaceful and calming. As a suggestion, don't spread up handwork like sawing and chiseling, this is a joy to watch and, again, listen to. Of course it is your video and you should do what you want, it is just my opinion that speeding up such footage makes it loose it's touch. I tried playing it at x0.25 but this doesn't do any good for the sound.
To re-make someone's work after they are gone is the highest compliment to a craftsman. It's a form of immortality.
True craftsmanship. I hope that one day I can own something as beautifully made as this!
I would think Nakashima would approve of your interpretation of his iconic chair. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful work. For us older viewers, I request that you use better lighting while videoing your work.

I'm no expert but it looks like walnut?
@@anthonyh3224 No, it's not walnut, I know the walnut, it's more gray than brown

Does anyone know what type of wood was processed?
thats walnut
Respekt!
Please, don't make that fast film. I love to watch your videos without acceleration
I sit in this chair and I would be on the ground.
