Especially if u consider the fact that getting only two headshots against medium massively drops the ttk and adding quick melees against H and M also reduces ttk massively. U just need to know how to use it but it's so much easier to use than the lh1.
on the money, all i used to do was push myself in ranked sniping close quarters but it feels way worse now. imo anything that shoots bullets should be hitscan, ofc the sniper but even the KS shotty too considering i never see either one being used. sniper is just a worse bow now since it's not at all hitscan. sucks it got nerfed bc of a party mode, might as well make all full autos projectile and turn the game into battlefield atp
I brought this up when they made the changes. Lots of people just don’t play with the sniper and are happier with it being useless 😢. Alas maybe it will get reverted some day. They are looking to buff it though since in the preview test before season 5 they had the body damage up to 128 from current 120.
It really is unpopular opinion. I don't miss light rats sitting on cranes entire match getting random kills across map that don't help their team or do any big impact just annoying rat sitting on crane dealing random damage. keep this game without snipers
@@rmrxespecially since it de-emphasises the gameplay of the finals which is engagement. And so at least with how the snipers are right now, the only people using it (should) be very good with, so at least deserve the kills if from such long distance
As an avid M and H player, Id say that AKM deserves A tier and that KS does not deserve A. AKM is very consistent and has great TTK's across the board, on top of that, the damage per mag is also quite high. The KS, on the other hand, is rather inconsistent with bad bloom, a projectile instead of hitscan, and rather mediocre damage per mag. It is also a complete nightmare to use against lights esspecially when considering the fact that the bloom will often make you miss the light by only a tiny bit. I agree with most of this list, however, and think this video was well made.
I feel the ks is so high because of the easy utility it allows. The ks can hold itself in some fights as starter damage and the ability to save your C4 or RPG is very valuable. That is just what I think from using it, heavy being a close range class I think the projectiles aren’t as bad as, for example, the sniper. (I play light and heavy the most).
imo hammer is atleast b tier, sure things can counter it but if you learn it enough you can get around almost everything you just need to play it smarter, even if you get tazed you can just slap down a barricade to protect yourself, its extremely strong in the right hands, also extremely oppressive in close quarters like monaco, amazing for dropping cashouts and just a good pick overall its just a bit learning curve to get good at it. I got to ruby using it only
The 93r change is good but if Embark is going for the glass cannon light class, c tier is not going to cut it. Really wish they made it a burst version on the m11, would work with it so well.
considering how much time you spen to load out and the gameplay that some weapons force you play Im not ok whit your video, still cool to see that i watch it all keep on ! :)
M26 is pretty good if you get used to it and the range and spread of the pellets. It has a pretty high damage potential with 8 shots doing over 100 damage . Idk how the double is , I haven't used it since they nerfed it a few seasons ago , so I'm not saying it's better or worse than the m26 , but the m26 has good potential with 8 shots .
11:25 I say if they just disable it in Powershift and then they could easily buff it without much flack. Its only a real problem in powershift because people sit half way across the map and shoot at the one object that everyone has to contest but you can't really do that in ranked or world tour.
I honestly think a buff to the SR would be to give it iron sights. Idk if their is an advantage to iron sights in this game. But the scope doesn't seem useful enough within the hitscan range of the weapon and the pike felt really good with iron sights
I think a real buff would be increasing the fire rate, but it would easily turn it into the most broken unfun thing to play against for noobs, as it already is for a lot of new players
As a heavy player, i can assure that flamethrower is not bad as you think, it can easily counter dualblades and riot shield and also it works well with mesh shield .
The matter would feel so much better if the pellet pattern was vertical instead of horizontal. It's one of the best guns in the game but the horizontal spread kills a lot of the fun and feel.
I isume you use mesh but what gadgets do you use. The meta picks? or do you throw in something like barricade? I remember barricade being quiet solid with flame thrower back in S3.
As a flamethrower main, ALWAYS target the healer. As Appoh said, damaging the person being healed is always a loosing battle. I’ve found to win every 1v2 Im in by targeting the healer first.
It would be cool for contents sake that you just made a Lockbolt video since the finals is a fun game and it's just nice to make videos about stuff. I just think redundancy is fine especially if you like the game.
27:13 I played a lot with the KS, and while I love it, I wouldn't put it above B tier until they make the spread fixed between hipfire and ADS (like all other shotguns). The fact that the KS hipfire got such a wide spread make the weapon super inconsistent past 10m in hipfire. It forces you to ADS / quick ADS just to be accurate, which is a HUGE downside on heavy given how low the strafe speed already is. Basically, you can't use it like other shotguns (even the SA12) by abusing your movement. If you ADS on heavy, you're a sitting target, so you might as well use the lewis, shak, m60, or even deagles that are all better. Also another downside to the KS is the damage nerf the winch claw received in season 3. It used to do 15 damage on hit, but now it's only 5 damage which completely broke the breakpoints of the KS. You can't winch - shot - quick melee lights anymore,or shot - winch - shot - melee mediums, as now you leave them alive with 5hp. Add to what I said above the poor damage fall off range and bullet drop that makes it hard to hit moving targets past 20m, and the reload speed that is still super long even after the last buff (+ the terrible reload animation)... The gun is very demanding and doesn't offer much reward compared to other weapons the heavy has access too. Rn the only point of the KS is its utility, but even then it's not like you lack destruction on heavy (c4, rpg, charge). So, yeah, the SA12 is better on all points for CQC (by far), and past 20m the KS is nearly useless so you might as well use the lewis / deagles if you really want some range. As for the utility, c4 / rpg is more than enough imo, but if you really wanna destroy stuff with your primary you might as well run sledge.
With or without ADS KS is inconsistent pass 10m because the bullet is projectile, means even u sure it hit enemy, it still can miss unlike most gun that have hitscan I don't wanna standoff with enemy pass 10m outside winch range
AKM is still reliable and easier to pick up and use. If you can handle the recoil pattern the FCAR has much better range and accuracy, decent hip fire too, and I believe it has a better headshot multiplier.
@@ADR_JaiDe_N It's terrible medium range for consistent fights for most players. There's a ridiculous upright kick to the recoil and with such a small mag, losing bullets is detrimental. While the AKM has more reliable recoil and a larger mag to dump. I'd only ever use the fcar against a lot of lights and up-close play, but that's just me.
@@cmartin5295 AKM is by far the most reliable pick, the recoil is smooth and predictable enough. And yet it was placed under the FCAR in this video, I personally think the AKM should be in A tier as it's still a reliable all round pick overall. In regards to the FCAR, yes what you said is true, but the gun does have more range and accuracy than the AKM; if the recoil pattern is learned and kept in check and even if headshots register the FCAR is most cases beats out the AKM, although it has the learning curve with its recoil. Even with its higher "potential" the AKM is still going to be more reliable due to the smoother recoil and 7 more shots per magazine (140 extra damage per mag) I am not an expert or pro by any means, I like to use a variety of guns and not main or limit myself to a single class or weapon. I thought the FCAR was horrible until there was a patch that changed the recoil so it was more controllable. And I feel the improvement. It's not perfect like season 1 but it's not as bad as it was since the Nerf.
I play the Fcar nearly every day since S1 and this Weapon has such a weird recoil and its really hard to control on controller. I dont know if its easier on pc but the kick after some bullets is absolutely painful
@@liljashy1463 people forget you go almost completely invisible if you stand still and crouch, you can fool people by hopping in and out of cover and doing that. just play really hit and run and only full swing with the rest of your team, or with a really golden third party opportunity
I respect Appoh and agree with everything EXCEPT fucking SPEAR - it is amazingly great, and I nail everyone with it. Sure, I do know about animation cancel, but that’s the only thing I do aside of its default features. You can obliterate lobbies with it, ESPECIALLY with a decent teammate. There are loads of combos like Winch, Mesh Shield, heck even Goo and Charge is viable. So I would say Appoh has a skill issue here, since the weapon is extremely viable, and there are many things you can do with it.
the 2 different bow versions at the datasheet dont make sense for me, there should also be a „optimal“ bow version bc thats the one that would came closest to in game stats (since no one is fully charging up a shot again after already hitting one at a light. without this you couldnt really compare ttks to sniper for example.
Because the shak does it faster and that’s critical. Means the enemy DPS is out of the fight faster and as a result you’re out of the fight slower. If you were guaranteed to win every gunfight quickly and efficiently with the Lewis gun then sure, it would be better, but such a predicate is just unrealistic.
Why is the AK worse than the other two medium AR’s? I know that guy from Holtows Finest rocked the AK last season but haven’t seen it as much since season 5
Probably because it has the weakest damage per shot and less range or something. Idk the reasoning. It's still good tho . Try the other rifles and come to your own conclusions AKM is reliable still .
Your thoughts on v9s tell me you don't fully understand its potential in certain playstyles,; there are some cracked lights in diamond/ruby lobbies who run v9s and do very well. Besides that, your list seems a bit biased given that your highest level weapon is lh1. Probably better to retitle to Weapon Tierlist for Ranked - THE FINALS: Season 5 (From my experience)
Ngl the 93R should be higher than c, the massive amounts of buffs made the weapon feel so much better, both in damage and in controlling the weapon. But it could honestly do with another dmg buff, the ttk for it on other classes just feels bad, it feels like you're punished for using the weapon because the damage output just can't keep up with higher health targets. Literally just an increase from 26 to 28 dmg would make a MASSIVE difference in both killing power and ttk. Maybe I'm just bad though.
I don’t really understand your V9S justification. You said that it’s not the best at point blank, fair, but then said that further out you “might as well just take up the LH1” - does this not apply to just about every other comparable weapon as well? You never brought up this point when discussing the other weapons with mediocre range performance, at least not as the main reason to discredit them. It seems like an ad-hoc rationalisation for why you find the weapon underwhelming. I do also find it interesting how low the revolver is, given that if you can aim well enough it’s better than the model in literally every way.
Buff xp, buff m60 buff ak nerf lh1 nerf sa12 nerf famas. Revert invis change invis was fine before rework. Also implement hidden rank score to help with greifing and 3rd party in rank. Also rework melee to align with the way the game was made for example. Heavy - melee damage 40/ melee slower Medium- melee damage 35/ melee normal speed Light - melee damage 30/ melee quickly
One of the best light players in the world swears by cloak , think his name is carnifex or something. They use clock mid fight to break the line of sight and get closer or reposition or retreat with the m26 . I prefer dash for more utility tho . Not a light main .
I 110% agree with is the SR placement, why would you use that over LH1? There’s nothing SR can do that LH1 can’t do better. Absolute dogwater. I still hear my teammates complaining fighting against the thing, and I just watched them stand still on a roof while the SR light is actively shooting at us. I’m a Light main and I see no reason to learn the intricate SR quickscope, hipfire dash and all that, when all I need to do to a hundred times more useful to the team is learn LH1 recoil and beam every single player on the enemy team from the same distance an SR can, while also being able to help in close range fighting. My adjustment for SR is just give it a damage drop at a distance, but give it an option for Acog sight, or if that’s too much just give it iron sight. People are complaining that SR can beam them across the map, so nerf the damage at long range and promote more medium-close range engagement with lesser magnification scope.
Can someone help me understand what rs outside of ranked queue? I only play quick play, and seeing people with upwards of 80k rs seems wild. Does it just build up the more you play, and therefore is only indicative of how much you play that mode? I havent found anything online that helps in a way thats relevant.
@Hyprst Firstly, thanks for replying. I'm asking about rs in the quick play leaderboard specifically. I'll just treat it like it's the same cause I'm probably just overthinking it. The top players in the quick play leaderboard have so much rs I thought it may have functioned differently
@saxdrummerjp oh, in quick play its just based on how much you've deposited in quick cash / bank it, in power shift it counts how far you've pushed it, and idk for terminal attack i havent played it
.50 akimbo B? You can beam from across the map heads with it and it melts people. Or sneak for someone who wants to steal your cashout, shooting heads melts people instant.
Deagles are a tier at least bro . This is just his take. Apparently KS is better than the deagles for ranked . Nobody is taking the KS over the deagles seriously.
The problem isn't how strong the weapon is at all in terms of range and ttk, appoh specifically mentioned that the problem is that it doesn't encourage you to play close range, which is the main role heavy has as an entry frag. He needs to pushing at the front and not behind cover shooting at enemies
2:50 it just recently got hipfire buff and that thing straight up better than akm and fcar cus they have to ads, and hitting ONE headshot just absolutely render everything else useless
How is the sniper possibly below dagger? Great tier list otherwise :D I would love to see sniper get some buffs though, maybe jumping/sliding accuracy and FINALLY fixing the scope wobble!!!! Of if they're really bold a fire rate or magazine buff maybe
Everyone has always said dual blades are trash, but what are you actually supposed to do as a solo player when a dual blader is running at you? If you shoot them you just die, and only lights can outrun them
Use your gadgets, hopefully you'll have some form of grenade or mine to deploy as you run away. Also they can't sprint while in deflect stance so they have to drop their guard to close the distance.
@@Armrongeddon u still want to deal decent DMG at 15m, the thing is better use Melee than KS at this point Hammer have better utility on destroying thing while KS will leave u vulnerable how much u use bullet to destroy Wall (1 for Wooden roof, 3 for Wooden Wall and 4 for Concrete Wall) Because weapon is projectile, u can miss even u sure it's hit center and this happen a lot in Mid range
I wanna like the lh1 but with how often close quarters fights are forced the other light options feel more reliable. I'll run down an lh1 with an m11 every time.
I agree on all light things except V9S. I think its hugely underrated, it's rather accurate with hipfire, huge damage per mag, really easy recoil, good TTK overall. I do not see how you can possibly put this in C tier. High B maybe but I would argue low A is the right place. Try playing it and ADS less and focus on movement, you will see what I mean. It is at a point where I played v9s and got called a cheater over discord by a few ruby players recently.
record a vod of a match and check what ranges youre typically engaging in if youre cqc alot of the time go for fcar but if you find yourself doing a decent amount of medium - long range stick with the ak and really try to emphasize heads at cqc
I think i pretty much agree with everything except for 93R. I think appoh kinda underestimates it as a long range option. I genuinely think it's comparable to M11 and XP in long range, but definitely weaker due to the lesser ammo count and being harder to hit shots due to the burst recoil. Comparable nonetheless
In my opinion a lot of poor placements. Sure you have a lot of obviously correct placements, but placing the AKM in a different tier than the FCAR makes no sense, FCAR has 90 less damage per mag, worse recoil and only slightly better ranged damage. The pike almost being the same as the AKM is delusional, there is no reason to use it over any other AR. Putting the V9S and 93R so low is a crime, your reasoning is focusing on some bizarre aspects. KS-23 being so high is a crime, you really shouldn't be relying on it to destroy walls, it takes 3 shells which makes you very vulnerable, it's also extremely unreliable at shooting thanks to its accuracy and travel time. Goes to show that just because someone is talented, doesn't mean their judgement is fully correct.
I don't necessarily agree with all of these placements but it's nice to hear what another good player thinks of the meta at the moment and the reasoning behind it

Unpopular opinion i guess but SR-84 should be made completely hitscan again. Turning a hitscan shot into a projectile mid flight just feels gross.
on the money, all i used to do was push myself in ranked sniping close quarters but it feels way worse now. imo anything that shoots bullets should be hitscan, ofc the sniper but even the KS shotty too considering i never see either one being used. sniper is just a worse bow now since it's not at all hitscan. sucks it got nerfed bc of a party mode, might as well make all full autos projectile and turn the game into battlefield atp
yeh they could make it have damage drop of instead
I got to ruby using it only
Fire shotgun is clearly S tier. Its a tickle monster!
Does that flamethrower guy mentioned have a youtube channel? I have a friend interested in seeing the techs.
The 93r change is good but if Embark is going for the glass cannon light class, c tier is not going to cut it. Really wish they made it a burst version on the m11, would work with it so well.
You are the best finals RUclipsr period.
considering how much time you spen to load out and the gameplay that some weapons force you play Im not ok whit your video, still cool to see that i watch it all keep on ! :)
So ur saying that famas is better than fcar, AND M26 IS BETTER THAN DOUBLE BARREL!?
Fcar feels like a pea shooter after the nerfs. I wish it was back down to 20 rnd mag more like Shak 50.
m26 is better tho?
M26 is pretty good if you get used to it and the range and spread of the pellets. It has a pretty high damage potential with 8 shots doing over 100 damage . Idk how the double is , I haven't used it since they nerfed it a few seasons ago , so I'm not saying it's better or worse than the m26 , but the m26 has good potential with 8 shots .
Bro a HML team just recently won a big ass tournament with an m26 light
11:25 I say if they just disable it in Powershift and then they could easily buff it without much flack. Its only a real problem in powershift because people sit half way across the map and shoot at the one object that everyone has to contest but you can't really do that in ranked or world tour.
You could drag the cashout around with it too.. Some say that's broken. I see it as unique game mechanic 😅

Actually garbage list lmao
The matter would feel so much better if the pellet pattern was vertical instead of horizontal. It's one of the best guns in the game but the horizontal spread kills a lot of the fun and feel.
Please, tell me how is working fall off(67% is better than 55%?)
Are you going to make video about best medium loadouts in this season?
awe i got a shout out ❤
btw im top 25 as of this moment flamethrower only
I isume you use mesh but what gadgets do you use. The meta picks? or do you throw in something like barricade? I remember barricade being quiet solid with flame thrower back in S3.
@Mrshmeans its a secret 🤫
With or without ADS KS is inconsistent pass 10m because the bullet is projectile, means even u sure it hit enemy, it still can miss unlike most gun that have hitscan
I don't wanna standoff with enemy pass 10m outside winch range
Ya the KS isn't inconsistent it's meant to be random with hip fire as u are shooting a slug there is no spread shot on that weapon.
ak being under fcar is crazy lol, entire list based off top 500 play?
Even with its higher "potential" the AKM is still going to be more reliable due to the smoother recoil and 7 more shots per magazine (140 extra damage per mag)
I am not an expert or pro by any means, I like to use a variety of guns and not main or limit myself to a single class or weapon.
Wow , thx for this insane work
Did the SA12 get a buff recently or something to justify putting back into S tier from season 0/1?
no, it just hasn’t been changed in a while and its burst damage is still super good
SA12 has been the best since launch
Who was the good flamethrower player mentioned around 26:34 ?
Can you share with us the google sheet link please ?
Cerberus gotta be niche
Also, I still really need that guide on how to not suck using Invis :) I find myself doing way way better with dash
@@liljashy1463 people forget you go almost completely invisible if you stand still and crouch, you can fool people by hopping in and out of cover and doing that. just play really hit and run and only full swing with the rest of your team, or with a really golden third party opportunity

Colud you please put a link to that master sheet?
flamethrower in C tier is wild with all its utility
Putting AKM below FCAR which has the same TTK but worse recoil, mag size and dmg per mag is certainly a choice
why would i use the shak to get 1 to 2 bodies whereas i can use lewis gun to get 3-4 people?
Because the shak does it faster and that’s critical. Means the enemy DPS is out of the fight faster and as a result you’re out of the fight slower. If you were guaranteed to win every gunfight quickly and efficiently with the Lewis gun then sure, it would be better, but such a predicate is just unrealistic.
should i use xp54 with or without the scope? ps fantastic videos keep grinding bro
with scope
Brother that's what every tier list is they are always based off of someones lived experiences that is how we form our thoughts on life in general
Probably better to retitled your comment to My Take on Appoh's Tierlist (From my experience)
understandable tierlist there are parts where i disagree but i think it just boils down to how good im using those weapons
You know, if everyone have very varyong opinions on alot of the weapons. You know it mans that the weapons are pretty balanced
Who is the flamethrower player? Do they have a youtube?
Buff xp, buff m60 buff ak nerf lh1 nerf sa12 nerf famas. Revert invis change invis was fine before rework. Also implement hidden rank score to help with greifing and 3rd party in rank. Also rework melee to align with the way the game was made for example. Heavy - melee damage 40/ melee slower
Medium- melee damage 35/ melee normal speed
Light - melee damage 30/ melee quickly
this is a prank right? SA1216 feels so bad
Can I play m26 matter with cloak????or the dash is the best with it
Depends on your playstyle tbh i always use it with the dash most of the time, sometimes even with the grapple if i want to have fun
One of the best light players in the world swears by cloak , think his name is carnifex or something. They use clock mid fight to break the line of sight and get closer or reposition or retreat with the m26 .
I prefer dash for more utility tho . Not a light main .
@ADR_JaiDe_N cloak synergize really well with shotguns too as long as you get the first shot
I havent found anything online that helps in a way thats relevant.
when you do better in ranked you gain more vr, if you lose in round 1 then you lose vr
@Hyprst Firstly, thanks for replying. I'm asking about rs in the quick play leaderboard specifically. I'll just treat it like it's the same cause I'm probably just overthinking it. The top players in the quick play leaderboard have so much rs I thought it may have functioned differently
@saxdrummerjp oh, in quick play its just based on how much you've deposited in quick cash / bank it, in power shift it counts how far you've pushed it, and idk for terminal attack i havent played it
@@Hyprst That helps a lot. Thank you🙏
.50 akimbo B?

Great tier list otherwise :D
I would love to see sniper get some buffs though, maybe jumping/sliding accuracy and FINALLY fixing the scope wobble!!!! Of if they're really bold a fire rate or magazine buff maybe

I have to say the CL-40 really shines in low elo. everyone is grouped up and you can hit all 3 of the enemies for really good dmg at the same time.
All garbage tier weapons are great against garbage players..
The medium tierlist feels like a failed comedy attempt
Everyone has always said dual blades are trash, but what are you actually supposed to do as a solo player when a dual blader is running at you? If you shoot them you just die, and only lights can outrun them
Use your gadgets, hopefully you'll have some form of grenade or mine to deploy as you run away. Also they can't sprint while in deflect stance so they have to drop their guard to close the distance.
The ks-23 really should have a headshot multiplier
That would be crazy 😧 like 125/130 damage would be cool
I just want it to have normal velocity
@@Killjoy.Z true, that's what make KS garbage at range, u still can miss even centering enemy body

It is at a point where I played v9s and got called a cheater over discord by a few ruby players recently.

record a vod of a match and check what ranges youre typically engaging in
if youre cqc alot of the time go for fcar but if you find yourself doing a decent amount of medium - long range stick with the ak and really try to emphasize heads at cqc

Pretty much disagree with half of the light and heavy tier placements here but agree with all of medium
Wow I can’t wait to find out if dual blades is garbage or niche!
Give me that sheet pleaseeee
