I can't believe Pokemon Colosseum is so old now. I remember getting it when it came out and loving it SO much. I thought Wes as so cool. Also, I thought the reason he started off with lvl 25 and 26 pokemon was because he was supposed to already be a competent pokemon trainer and not someone that you are following from their start.

The best thing to ever happen to me playing Colosseum was learning the infinite ball glitch, all the post-master ball fights were so much easier to manage. I still think the single hardest fight prior though is the first fight with Venus were you can catch Suicune.
I love reminiscing about this game; the double battle strategies, the Mt. Battle grinding while eating paddlepop pawprints, the first time completing the story with just my umbreon left. Transferring Pokémon over to my FireRed to complete the national dex for the very first time (needed Johto starters and dogs) is unforgettable.

I wouldn't mind getting it ported to the Switch but I'm probably in the minority that wouldn't want them as remakes or sequels. I forgot how wild this game was. It makes me sad there haven't been anymore like it since XD. These are the spin off games that I feel really bring life back to the franchise. Focusing more on an interesting story, than the cookie cutter: collect the badges and beat the elite four.
Well Mikey, you’ve inspired me to finally beat this game. At the time of this comment, I’m currently about to face off against Cipher Admin Ein for the first time (and catch Raikou), and my team is still only around level 38 (excluding Entei who is still level 40). Admittedly this is without grinding, but that process would still take hours to do, even with the Exp. Share. As for hyper mode, so far I’ve counted 15 or 16 times that my Pokémon have entered the state, and every time it happens I always groan. I’ll update this comment once I have the final results.
@@bvc5320 Oh, I’m sure it is. But I’ve actually stopped playing Colosseum. Ironically Pokémon Colosseum was my FIRST Pokémon game. Consequently, I hated FireRed and LeafGreen (the next Pokémon games I played) at first because I kept on trying to catch other trainers' Pokémon and I also preferred double battles (and still do). I loved Hyper Mode since it gave a sense of urgency and the part where it attacks a trainer was great for story telling. I still consider Orre my favorite region. i would love these as remakes for the switch one day
You should have your next sponsor with Grunty Boy recording because he broke in while you where sleeping then you come in and say it’s MIKEY BOY
Honestly, Grunt Boi caught me by suprise.
The best thing to ever happen to me playing Colosseum was learning the infinite ball glitch, all the post-master ball fights were so much easier to manage. I still think the single hardest fight prior though is the first fight with Venus were you can catch Suicune.
To me the hardest moment was catching ho ho at the battle tower. Boy was the pressure up...
Raikou is probably harder imo; Suicune’s difficulty can at least be mitigated by using Net Balls.
The only sponsor i don't skip

"Seventeen years ago"
I felt really old.

“How dare you! It is a dump truck!” 😂😂😭😭
This is why this game is one of the best because it’s soooo challenging especially the back to back finale battle.
Community: we want a mature Pokémon game
Colosseum: allow me to introduce myself
Let me introduce myself...17 years ago!
@@IAmMightyMike The game’s literally older than Reborn, and people think that Fangame was the first Mature Pokémon game. Starting to think most of those people didn’t own a GameCube or a first model Wii(which had GameCube compatibility).
@@rickyrns1059 could be, iirc Gamecube was a competitor of PlayStation 2 and PS2 was the most sold console ever
@@LordRemiem Hell, I looked it up, and apparently the GameCube was the among the worst selling Nintendo Consoles worldwide. This of course ignores the first version of the Wii being one of the best selling, but not many people actually used the GameCube function, which was why they removed it in the future models, which was bs!
Enternal Darkness was made by Nintendo

No matter what happens or has happened, Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness will always be my favorite games ever. I have them completely memorized and I have written and published walkthroughs of them. I wouldn't mind getting it ported to the Switch but I'm probably in the minority that wouldn't want them as remakes or sequels. These games are too nostalgic and iconic to me and will always have a special place in my heart. Really wish my GameCube's lens would read discs better so I'd have an easier time playing them.
I also noticed you used screenshots at 16:47 from the wiki I created. Makes me happy they proved helpful 😀
I forgot how wild this game was. It makes me sad there haven't been anymore like it since XD. These are the spin off games that I feel really bring life back to the franchise. Focusing more on an interesting story, than the cookie cutter: collect the badges and beat the elite four.
I asked Raycon to sponsor me. Currently waiting for their response.
awesome
@OoferUmutBey What part of that comment did you not understand?
Wth I thought you would have at least one vid to be a verified YT lol
@OoferUmutBey I have played it a bit but I honestly prefer to play Ultra Sun. Gen 7 is the best one if you ask me.
@OoferUmutBey I have videos of Ultra Sun on my channel which you’re more than welcome to watch.
Don't forget to get Ho-oh... It's far more brutal of a process then the rest of the game.
@@bvc5320 Oh, I’m sure it is. But I’ve actually stopped playing Colosseum. I got stuck at the Cipher Admin gauntlet and can’t get past them, which is odd because I did get past them when I was a kid since I remember getting stuck on Gonzap, who you fight after them. But at least I beat and completed XD, aside from Mt. Battle.
@@michaelnelson1127 Sunny (Wes) got past the trainer gauntlet including the final and the true final battle.
@@michaelnelson1127 You can get the johto starters from Mount battle in xd they each have an egg move and their elemental hyper beam. You just have to battle from trainer 1 to 100 without leaving or changing your team. You get one after each attempt
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl: "We're be hardest pokemon games."

Both Coliseum and XD are the most underrated pokemon games. Change my mind.

This was literally the ONLY pokemon game I played as a child, and I NEVER knew that you could call a pokemon out of confusion. This would have made the games a LOT easier.

The Orre games are absolute gems 💕 Colosseum being my favorite over the two because of the more mature story and difficult (and Wes is too cool looking 😳). The music really is top notch 💕 Watching this is giving me so much nostalgia. I remember playing many playthroughs back in the day. Great video Michael 👏
What is my favorite song in Colosseum? I think some of you already know what it is. Cipher Peon battle theme!
I haven't played the game in 15 years probably and I still know that name and who u mean
You gave me a new perspective with this video and I thank you for it. It made me realize why I had such a hard time with mainstream Gen III and Gen IV games since I played Colosseum first.
Yes! Same here! I was so flabbergasted when I found out that you can catch wild pokemon
