    I prefer betzbone because of cost, weight bearing, I’m gonna travel oversea and back home for therapy period , so the weight bearing gives me more security. Also, I need not pay 30-40k dollar for deposit of borrowing the precice magnet device back home to use and might risk damaging it during travel by flight delivery. Betzbone is more preferable for my case.

      But what is certain is that two nails, 30 cm long, cost more than 60 thousand dollars. This means that they are more expensive than a Ferrari. So, we are dealing with thieves.

  • @moonbalancedd

    a precice nail that lengthens to 10cm or plus would be the dream. Lot of ppl choosing LON or betz because they can lengthen femur more than 8cm and do so successfully. I frequently hear 10, 10.5, 11 from past patients with great outcomes and 0 issues.

    Hey Victor 2 questions,
    1) when choosing between Betzbone and G-Nail you should also take the surgeon into account (Dr. Axel Becker and Dr.Giotikas) and what I´ve heard is that Giotikas is by far a more experienced and overall better surgeon, than Becker whos a Rookie in the field of LL. So keeping that in mind, would you still choose Betzbone over G-Nail?
    2) Do you think that Stryde will make its return this year or at the latest in the beginning of 2024, or are we looking at late 2024, 2025 or even 2026, or never?.

    • @Cyborg4Life
      @Cyborg4Life  Год назад +5

      1) Putting a nail in is not difficult. It's more so after lengthening has begun to watch out for avoidable complications.
      2) This fall most likely for a few select LL clinics in US. Then more widespread next year and thereafter

    Another great video Vic
    Might be an idea for a video, since the tibia is more risky with less benefits.. But couldn't find any info on specific stresses for that area post procedure.
    Namely, the torque with the machine abtly named "leg extension" weight exercise.
    Also, martial arts swing kicking exercises
    Are these two dangerous for a tibia extension patient risking breaking?
    For the first year after surgery, or even forever?
    Thanks again for your wisdom
