    over the past few years prices being asked are at minimum 20%-25% overvalued all over the area now, i believe the area is in a real estate bubble.

    Maintenance fees for all condos in Thailand will quadruple in the near future, following americas lead. If you buy, you need to technically pay rent as well. Once these fees go up, nobody will buy.

    It looks like they can put a new building right next door with that empty lot.

    if the condo building is over 5 years old DONT buy...they are for the most part unsellable because condos are so cheap and ppl tend to only buy new built ones.
    That's why there are so many condos for rent in pattaya..most of them are foreigners that made a bad deal and are stuck with their unselleble investment
    so what do u want.. buy overpriced empty condo where u have to buy furniture pay for fixing everything broken and maintain it.
    OR rent a fully furnitured condo for under 1-300$ a month and be free to move and travel with 3 months or 1 year contracts.

      The only thing I'll say about the offer buildings is that they are built better..... thicker walls better sound deadening. The new ones seem like throw aways, honestly..... the quality just isn't there..... furnishings won't last, they just seem like they are for "show" and not made to last. But, yeah there are SO MANY condos being sold.... it's almost easier to rent, move around until you find your perfect one. 👍

      @@wattstraveling +15 years working and living in thailand..and have rented condos all the time.. I spend about 25% of my total salary on living and all the expenses in Bangkok where i change condo about every 6 months longest i stayed was 1 year contract every party of Bangkok is like a newcity when u move there.

      @@wattstraveling right..the thought of being STUCK in one place with alot of money invested scares me..and i have many friends all over se-asia that are in that situation
