1 to battery 1 to a fuse. preferably a fuse that is only getting power when the car is on. This prevents the accessory device from constantly pulling power draining your battery when the car is off AND adds a fuse in the connection so if something goes wrong the fuse pops and nothing more. You need a fuse adapter for that. It just wires onto the end of your accessory device wire and plugs into the fuse box like a regular fuse but with a wire attached Everything else if just tidying up wires so they are hidden and don’t get caught in anything. If you don’t understand how to hook this up you have NO BUSINESS trying. Either don’t do it or pay someone to do it for you. It’s a 30 min job
Very neat installation overall. My only question is would the unit be susceptible to engine heat? I’d be kinda worried about it possibly getting melted overtime by the heat of the engine.
On my Honda Civic, I popped off the bumper and hid it behind the left fender. There, it's separated from the engine bay for the most part and is not exposed to the engine, which in turn, will allow it to be next to colder air.
@@DuctTapeMechanic Everything is illegal in the US. I'm sure theirs a code somewhere out their waiting to be dusted off. Sorry buddy is (For Your Safety.)🤝
In my suburban city in the US, there's a law about having a sound system that can be heard something like 100 feet from your vehicle. These kind of laws are originally intended to restrict the volume of *internal* stereo speakers, but I'm pretty sure these laws could also be used if law enforcement is unhappy with your external speakers. (I'm not a lawyer though)
Look up marine speakers that are attached to trucks. These systems can get *very* loud, if you're willing to spend a lot of money. They get used by individuals on pickup trucks, just for fun, as well as installed on box trucks to be used for entertainment for crowds at events.
Holy crap that audio quality sucks. Cant even make out what he is saying. Glad he made this review though, theres so many other reviews that only show you the sound effects and not the PA. Now I know why.
I can't wait to get one of these for my car so I can scream at people in traffic! The one I want has a bunch of sound effects like animal noises and stuff. I'll be the class clown of rush hour!
Wow. He was able to complete the whole installation & his wife was still not ready.
Ooh I’m sure the neighbors love this!
They know me lol
Im buying one of these so i can tell people to stop driving and texting at the same time
I love it when you don't show the actual fuse install process and instead speed it up 1.5x

Thats pretty neat. I definitely need one for my Jeep
I don't get why its so hard to install tho, isnt just mounting, wires to battery close the hood and it should work?
You could do it that way but then the pa system would be powered the whole time. I wanted jt to be powered only when the car was on
@@DuctTapeMechanic i know i heard it can possibly drain the battery, needa do it the right way and get it on a fuse
It is still working one year after installation?
Mine just died in 1 hour
Still works but I would opt for a more powerful mic
@@DuctTapeMechanic ok thanks man
Dang I can’t even get the dealership to install one of these for me. Wish I knew how to do it like you. I’m stuck

Imagine doing all this just to remember you were only leasing the car
Is there a way it can be louder ?
Cause once in traffic or anywhere crowed it dont make sense.
The only way would be to buy a more powerful system, there are multiple to choose from on Amazon
You could probably install an amp like one for a sub, but that would be a complete different setup

Is it loud? Worth buying?
It's not super loaf. But it is fun. People laugh when I talk to them from my car lol
Super loaf 😂
I'm not married so I'll be using this cuss out the drivers on the road

specifically, what kind of red and black wire did you use to extend the length?
Normal 10 or 12 gauge wire should work
Great video !
