Love Trident! Nagisa and Serina are up there with my favorite rhythm sections. Love the little jams they put out from time to time together on Instagram. Was lucky enough to have the chance to see these ladies in a two-man show with Bray Me in Koshigaya back in March when I was in Tokyo. Both bands killed it!
Totally agree that TRiDENT deserves more attention. Happy to see it.

3 piece band always fascinating to watch. I recommend another 3 piece band from japan "Sokoninaru - Gou ni Moyu" You will blow away about this band, more skill full and progressive style

Ya, they are amazing musicians! I would put up all 3 against anyone out there today and know they would hold their own. Love this song.
To be fair, Asuka's recorded two guitar parts in some spots, but great band regardless, and they can do it live. Agreed, I love her voice. Nagisa, great drummer, but Serina is excellent on that bass and goes a bit too under the radar for me. Next band that needs and overseas tour! BTW, Maximum The Hormone just released their new track, "Satsui vs. Satsui" and...yeah, it's totally MTH 🤘
The piano, synth and the other guitar track do kinda fill out TRiDENT, but that's modern music. It also makes bands like TRiDENT possible because to create those tracks used to cost a lot of money. Bands would often either thin out their sound, or employ a lot of extra musicians for tours, which again, cost a fortune. So today they will play the backing on stage, and do their four parts with three members, and sound fantastic, and isn't that what we want at the end of the day?
