This is how every automotive repair video needs to be. Clear instructions step by step. He didn't just start at one point and then cut to the next going, "Now once you've got that handled..." He actually shows you. He included the tools used, bolt sizes, bolt sequence, torque specs, just in case you didn't have a service manual. Even double checking the fluid level the following day. He covered EVERYTHING. Out of 1-5 stars I'll give it 23. THIS IS HOW AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR VIDEOS ARE DONE AND DONE WELL!!!! Excellent job.

@MotorCity Mechanic I forgot to drain the anti freeze first. When I pulled the oil housing adapter off it started pouring out. Will this mess anything up? How should I go about flushing the system? TIA
Your video was a great help, didn't have money for shop repair. Your video was very well done. Thank you again for the time you take to explain things in detail. Well done!
Thanks for your time putting together this very informative and helpful video. I changed out the plugs, coils, sensors and hose along with the housing and my JGC is running better than ever.
Can't thank you enough for this. My mom was quoted $1100 CDN for this repair and with this video, I did the job myself with Mopar parts for under $300 CDN. You rock!
Awesome video. Just saved myself 1700 bucks the shop wanted to charge me. Took about 4 hours. Glad I found this video. Straight to the point and step by step. Couldn’t ask for anything more !! 🎉

bro you made this look so easy. my oil housing just went out on the highway. i made it home thank God. thanks to you i cant wait to tackle this. thanks for saving me so much money at the dealer
The level of detail, such as covering the two-stage locks on the wires, is super helpful. Thanks so much. The process went super smooth, with no hiccups, because the video shows and tells *exactly* what to do to get it without trouble.
Saved me well over 1000 bucks from any repair shop in my area. Thank you for the clear concise information and torque specs with the patterns for tightening.
Thank you!!!!! I just finished 2015 JKU. Followed your videos, lay out of houses and air intake is a little different but everything else is the same. Very useful torque specs and torque sequence instructions. Also replaced the sparked plugs since it was only a few moRe minutes of work. Thank you for your videos, very detail instructions.
Really appreciate this video. Been working on cars for 35 years but all the little clips and manifold bracket bolts and such saved me a lot of time. Thank you very much!
I would just like to Thank you. It is refreshing to see a person with full knowledge of their craft and the ability to articulate what they are doing in a way that is easy to understand. Keep up the awesome work.
Extremely helpful. Clear step by step explanation. I had my charger serviced at the dealership today and I was wondering why they charge the way they do. I now have a better understanding and realize that there's a lot of work involved in replacing the assembly. Thank you so much.
Glad mechanics like you do videos for us that like to fix cars by ourselves, I got a call tonight from my son telling me there's oil all over the bottom of my car and the car was steaming from under the hood, I checked the car (2012 charger 3.6l) and found the hose that was cracked, i wasn't sure about the oil though ? but seeing your video at least i have something to go by now. I have 185000 miles on this car, so far i have replaced the thermostat housing, radiator, Dodge replaced the alternator after it went up in smoke and other recalls taken care of along the way. It has been a good car but i dislike PLASTIC on engines....for a good reason. Good video David.
I fully agree.....plastic pars especially on the cooling system is never a great thing in my book. Glad that the video helped and thanks for reaching out!
Outstanding video. I'm an idiot and did not look for the torque sequence when viewing an inferior video. Took the torque to the oil cooler at 19in/lb instead of 9in/lb on the first replacement and probably from middle to ends on the sequence. A month later its leaking again. Wish I has seen your video first, but I'm sure it'll help me on this hopefully-last time around. Excellent explanations and visuals, you are a huge credit to this resolution.
Dude, you are the man. Can't express how much I appreciate the great work you do in putting these videos out. Clear, concise, to the point, great camera angles, detail oriented, all the important points hit. Used this video to do my 2013 Jeep Wrangler 3.6, there were just a couple of slight differences with the brackets which was easy to figure out, other than that, same stuff. Took me about 4 hours. Keep up the great work my friend, you just saved me $500 bucks!!! Will definitely be looking you up in the future as well as telling my friends about your channel. Thanks again!!!!
Steve...thats an awesome testimonial! I greatly appreciate it. I have been wanting to do a video on the Wrangler but havent had the opportunity yet. Always too busy. Glad it worked out and nothing like saving some money. Make sure to subscribe and share!
Another great tutorial. I used this as a rough guide for my 2015 3.6l RAM 1500. As popular as the V6 RAM is, there isn't any info on engine work on it. Thanks for sharing your professional methodology, specs, and tips! No doubt you're making me a better DIY shadetree mechanic. Thank you.
I just did this on a 2012 Caravan , there are other videos out there specific to the Caravan , but yours is more detailed and thorough. VERY good camera work and EXCELLENT walk through. I appreciate you very much!
Make appreciated......I have been making a few changes in both equipment and editing software. If only I could find a quiet shop as well lol. None the less......thanks for the comment. Glad to see you keeping up with the channel!
I just did this job on a Jeep Wrangler 3.6L. What a PITA!......... The lower hardware to the rigid heater lines are a pain to get them off. Battery box ended slicing my wrist all over the place. One thing I do highly recommend doing if you don't have a vacuum antifreeze filler is to 1st add as much anti freeze as possible. Then after warm up and the thermostat opens shut it off and let cool down enough to crack open the caps and refill again. Disconnect the upper heater core hose to release the air pockets left in the system. Fill the hose until you get antifreeze coming out of the hard line then quickly connect them together and place clamp back in place. What this does is eliminate you from NOT having the heater work properly. The bleed screw is located under the throttle body and very difficult to access while the engine is running. That was my only option to get the heater to work. Hope this helps anyone in need.
Yeah that bracket on the passenger side is a pain for real and hard to get to the fasteners on the side of the valve cover. Sounds like you got it handled even with the struggles so my hats off to you. Thanks for the tips and for the comment. Make sure to subscribe Gary and Merry Christmas
Thanks MotorCity Mechanic! Your videos are the best, most concise, accurate, and informative auto repairs videos I've watched on you tube. I used the information in your video to replace the oil filter housing on my 2013 Ram 1500. A few minor differences, but nothing I couldn't figure out. The biggest problem with the Ram, is getting to the back of the engine since it's basically under the dash. I really had to climb up in the hood area to get to a lot of stuff. But got it done, and all is well. Thanks again!
Great to hear that the video helped and that you were able to use alot of the info to do the repair on the truck. My hats off to you and thanks for using my video to take the job on. Make sure to subscribe and check out my others as well.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. My 2016 Ram 1500 developed this problem 3000 miles out of warranty. I watched three videos on the process and yours was the best. The Ram is a little different especially with the upper intake and an extra wiring harness, plus it is much higher off the ground and the engine sits at the extreme rear of the compartment made for some tricky reaching. The part number for my oil cooler was the AC version, which has since been upgraded to AF. Mine was leaking from the o rings on the bottom and was not cracked. The new o rings are a different material and I hope I never have to do this again.
Thanks for commenting Ian. On the ram truck you actually can sit/stand in the engine compartment which makes a lot of difference. When it comes to the seals....to me its gamble either way and at the dealership.....I dont want to have to do the job twice. It would be different if I could see exactly where the leak is but with it being buried where it is....its almost impossible. Glad it all worked out for you in the end and thanks again for finding and for watching these videos. Make sure to subscribe.
@@MotorCityMechanic I'm fixing my son's 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 3.6 with only 109,000 kms. There is enough room to stand within the compartment thankfully as it would've been a far reach. There was about 3" oil sitting under the oil filter housing. I ordered the aluminum one and hopefully the gaskets that came with it are good quality. Your video is AMAZING. I followed it for the whole procedure. I follow a Ford guy who has helped me immensely with our F150 timing job and Im so lucky to have found you for the Dodge Chrysler vehicles. Another hero in my world.
Subscriber here. Wish I had seen this video when I had to replace the lower intake manifold on my 2012 Chrysler 300! It took some time to look up the torque specs and sequence. I didn't have a problem with my oil cooler but when I did pull the lower manifold I couldn't believe the amount of stuff collected around the cooler unit. I had a problem with mice eating wild cherries on my manifold and spitting the pits into the hollow below. I used an air hose to blow out about 2 quarts of pits before I pulled the upper manifold and more after it was pulled. Then after pulling the lower I blew more out! Then since there were many still there just bouncing around I used a plastic water bottle with the bottom cut out and taped to my shop vac and a small hose like you used to suck the oil taped to the water bottle to vacuum another 1/2 cup of pits out before I could reassemble everything!! I am checking your feed for other 300 or 3.6 engine related videos and hopefully shortcut any future problems.
Many thanks for watching this video and for your interest in my other videos as well. I have run across some small animal issues over the years. Luckily you didnt have any damaged wiring. I appreciate the comment as well and for being a faithful subscriber
Second time your videos have helped me! Changed the plugs about two years ago and this year had to change the oil cooler in a Town & Country. Thanks so much for posting such useful information to RUclips. Really appreciated the torque settings and sequence for tightening the bolts.
I love working on cars and my boys are always there with a new problem. Im glad they need my help and I'm hoping this is the oil leak I can't seem to locate. Your video looks so easy and I have to remind myself that I'm not a pro at this and you are! Thank You!!
The quality of your instruction is impressive!! I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6 with the same oil leak issue. After watching your video I am going to do the job myself. Ording all the parts now. Thank You.
Your step by step procedure and how detailed you were made it so much easier. Thank you! Glad to see true passion in what they do. Again, thanks brotha. 🙏🏽
great video. thank you sir, you did a great job. i replaced mine yesterday on a 2017 dodge challenger sxt everything came out good. i followed your instructions step by step and it was easy. you made it easy. i appreciate the time you spent to create this video to help other people.
Gonna follow you. Big thanks. I was at the dealership as I have a warranty figured it was the oil pan leaking. Of course the warranty doesn't cover this but covered the motor mounts on my 14 charger. Found out it was this very part. They wanted to charge me 750. Seeing I can do this myself. Very thorough guide. Thanks again.
Very thorough! Your instructions before and the actual removing of parts is second to none. Just awesome! You should have 1 million plus subscribers very soon. I only found your channel due to seeking help with a mopar. Imagine if you vlog all other makes...? I appreciate you. Thanks for the video👍🏾
i am going to try this on the 27th of all the videos on line.. This is the only one that looks professional.. One guy took half the motor apart the other guy pried it apart;..lol THANK YOU for all your videos
Yeah thats the issue with everyone having a camera and making a video....sometimes they arent that great or better yet shouldnt have been made. Thanks for finding my video and for the great feedback and kind words. Make sure to subscribe and Merry Christmas
MotorCity Mechanic thanks for the video and the specks. Those were the most important part. It went great. You could see where one of the O rings was leaking. I should have returned the part and just replaced the O rings Thanks again. It took a little over two hours to complete the oil cooler R n R
David, thank you for a very good two-part video on replacement of the Pentastar engine oil cooler assembly. I am considering replacing this on my nice '12 Chrysler 200 Touring convertible as an upgrade. I just need to reference left side of the engine as front and right side as rear on my car. I recently bought a GEARWRENCH inch pound torque wrench for the lower torque specifications.
Great video. I was a little intimidated at first by all the electrical connectors. But I watched the video a few times and felt more confident. Piece of advice, be very gentle with the electrical connectors. Also watched the video on changing the spark plugs as well. Both went exactly like the video. Thanks MotorCity Mechanic.
remember about heat soaked evap plastic hoses. They are 3/8 worse case. Thanks in 23 / you were detailed with torques and great video, I got the dorman aluminum part.
Seems I've run into this exact issue on my WK2. If it's not covered under my warranty (third party dealer and nearly up), I have this great guide and an urge to start getting my hands dirty anyway. Amazing work on the vid.
Hi, Dave! I am gonna make a long story very short. I reinstalled original filter housing back to where it was. I just replaced o'band ring. There is a very long story to why I didthat. Now, my 300 runs like a champ. You know what? Windshield doesn't fog up anymore, feeling like stalling when making right turns (actually stalled a couple of times when idling). has more power ( used premium gas - manual recommends to use 87 octane), on freeway keep losing speed even holding gas pedal steady and much more pick up speed. All those pressure are gone Thanks to you! Next thing, I need to replace outer tie rods. I hope I didn't crack upper and lower intake manifolds (took them down and reinstalled 3.5 times)
Awesome video and help to get this done - I paid around $160 for the part for my 2011 300 with almost 200K - bummer for me I torqued on the intake a little too much when I was manipulating it to put on the new seals and it broke the fuel line inlet on the driver side fuel injector rail. Took me awhile to find one at a salvage yard but found one for $75 so not too bad although it added a couple days to the job while I procured the part. Once I got that thing back it went back together real nice. Hopefully the replacement part is robust and lasts for the rest of the useful life of this vehicle - 200K more! Thanks for the great video!
Replacement part failed - dang thing - bought an aluminum Dorman this time and hope this one works better, really disappointing but again, thankful for this great video to help me get it done.......again 😖😳😊
That is the best repair video I have ever seen! Thanks for taking the time to do it. Dealer wants $1100, this will be easy to do myself...after your video, of course.
@@MotorCityMechanic Small nitpick. I had to rewind from the torque spec to the torque sequence from. Beyond that the job was very detailed, applied it to a T&C.
yep my 2014 ram had this done. Nice to see how it is done. Excellent instructions and camera angles. Another great one! In my opinion you have past up the other great mechanics out there that I have watched.
Dude....that was a much appreciate comment. Its always cool to get feedback like that. I try my best to step up the quality in each video in one way or another. I figure if your spending you time to watch....well then the best thing I can do is hold the camera right and try not to waste your time and hurt your eyes at the same time. Thanks again and keep watching!
That was a great video and excellent sequential instructions. I have done these before but always like to look for short cuts . I love the fact you added in torque specs and instructions on the order of reinstallation . Thank you
This has been the most informative video I have seen on how to repair this part, well done. You saved me a lot of money. I appreciate what you do and I definitely subscribed.
It is a very high quality video, both in information and in craftsmanship. I did the same job in a grand cherokee, except this was leaking coolant. Thank you and congrats
Hey David thanks for the vid, i have a 2014 Chry 300 , and oil coming out the back of the engine on to the Transmission, I was scratching my head thinking from where , now I know I will be tackling this weekend Beer project is up lol thanks again, great info man.
Your welcome. Its very common on the 2014 models for sure. Thanks for finding this video and for commenting. Make sure to subscribe if you havent already.
Man you are a life saver! All my repairs I have done on my 2011 Dodge Journey V6, there was a video on your channel for it. I noticed my oil filter housing is also leaking but it's not dripping onto my transmission yet, so will keep an eye on it once it gets worse. Dealer is charging $180 for the entire unit, pretty expensive, but I'll go with your recommendation of replacing the entire unit. Video liked!
This is an excellent video, I really appreciate the level of detail and the professional way it was presented. Many thanks for providing it! I found it extremely helpful in changing the oil pressure sensor on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. There are some good videos out there specifically aimed at the oil pressure sensor, but when I got to to the point of removal of the sensor, there was not enough clearance to get the sensor out, I had to remove the oil filter/cooler assembly... then it was relatively easy. The hardest part of this whole process is removing and removing that stud in the mounting bracket. For my vehicle, you can't see it without a mirror, and it is very hard to reach. Anybody with a Grand Cherokee figure out a good way to get this out and back in again?
Genial la explicación, Con lo poco de inglés que se, me bastó con la acción ejecutada que hiciste. Muchas gracias por la correcta explicación de dónde está y cómo cambiar un sensor de presión de aceite de un Dodge Challenger. De Chile mis saludos y Thank you very much!!
Muchas gracias por el comentario y por las amables palabras. Me alegra que hayas podido entender lo suficiente del video para hacer la reparación. De nuevo ... muchas gracias y asegúrese de suscribirse.
Good job congrats... i'm from brazil 2 days later i did The same in a dodge journey 2013... in my case it was convenient replace the gaskets, clean all the intakes and injectors and replace The spark plugs...
Really enjoy your videos! Detailed and very easy to follow! You did great work cleaning everything up, and I know its just my OCD kicking in but I would have cleaned all the dust and dirt while I had the intake off. Thats just me though. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the video. I was trying to change the oil pressure sender but could not get sensor socket on the sender. So was trying to remove the temp sender and it spun the brass in sert in the plastic. Had to buy a new oil filter assembly, an found out there had been several updates to this part. I have a 2013 JK with the 3.6 pentastar. So back yard mechanics like myself beware and be carefull. Thanks again for the video it really helped sense I cant find a service manual.
Thank you so much for making this video! I greatly appreciate the details you put in to help a novice like me want to even try this. I followed it to the letter and the whole thing worked out great! I went with the new Doorman aluminum oil cooler assembly so hopefully this is a one and done swap out for me.
All you would really need to show is how to remove the sensors and cooler from the old assembly and put them on the new one. The rest of the original video is excellent in detail and explanation.
@@brentbeck7984 for sure. I want to do the pros and cons of using it and point out items like that as well. Been making some notes on that and want to bring up some topics that people might not thing if when using it
Great video, great mechanic, I owned a shop for 40 years and wish I had just one mechanic who was half as good as you. I hope the place you work for realizes how valuable you are.
Great video! I highly recommend upgrading to the aluminum housing for the 2014+ Pentastar. The housing will last forever, and the oil filter's backflow valve is part of the MO-349 filter cartridge instead of the housing where it's known to break. Also, 89 in-lbs is too much! That's 10.1 N•m. The torque spec is molded right onto the top of the upper intake manifold and reads "7 to 9 N•m." That's 62 to 80 in-lbs. You're driving those bolts into plastic and 89 in-lbs will strip the holes.
Great video. This gave me the confidence to do it myself. A couple of bumps along the way, like breaking the oil temperature sensor connector, and then the sensor breaking loose in the housing so I had to buy a new assembly and watch this video and all that ...The fluid leakage was a surprise... Also THOSE F'ING PLASTIC STRAPS! There has to be a better way than those christmas tree clips. What a massive point of frustration, trying to take them out carefully and then the plastic snaps... ARRGGHHH. Anyways, job completed thanks to you Dave.
Very useful video simple guy talking mainly how to replace part in your vehicle no it’s advertising for something else” and it was very helpful to do my Challenger thank you very much respect bro👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I am hoping I'll get a reply back from you before I begin the final assembly of the lower intake manifold on my 2015 Chrysler Town and Country. I don't know if the torque specs are different for the different 3.6L applications but the lower torque value did concern me and I can only guess the reason is so not to flatten the seals by over tightening the manifold. The higher torque value for the oil cooler must be because an O ring is used rather than a seal like the upper and lower seals on the manifold. I just want to get this right the first time. Again thank you for taking the time to make these video's.
I think I have the same problem with my 2011 chrysler town and country 3.6. Motor looks identical except turned one time clock wise. Great video thanks for the info.
I have a 2012 dodge charger sxt 3.6l and i took it to two different mechanics both of them were just trying to pin point what the issue was sayings its this its that saying head gaskets are blown but my car never overheated nor it does no check engine light on but what i do have is oil in the coolant resevoir so definetly going to getting it done tomorrow, also great vid!!👍👍
Head gaskets dont blow......not any more when it comes to engines with metal headgaskets. Heads will warp but the gasket will not blow....thats when you know the mechanic doesnt know what they are talking about. The cooler will be the most likely cause of the oil in the coolant. It will take a few times of flushing it to get it all out. Thanks for watching and glad you searched youtube instead of listening to the mechanics you found. Make sure to subscribe and check out my other videos as well.
Easzy Geek How do you know that your oil is in the coolant? In the other motorcity mechanic’s video he told me that the coolant will look like milk colour. My coolant is pink so assume it is still OK.
This video is awesome. I replaced my oil cooler three weeks ago by following your steps but I feel I'm missing something as my coolant is still leaking ( the same area where the oil was pooling in your video ). I might have to go back in and double check everything.
love your videos! there helping me with my supercharger build! ported upper lower intake fluid flush! the great explanation to detail helps alot with my type of learning!! god bless you!
Thanks for explaining how to take the small clips off and the torque sequence and value. It really squashes a frustrating problem. Gotta keep the kid hauler on the road. 2014 T&C 60k
I'm usually a DIY'er but this is rather complicated and time consuming. Add not having a nice clean spacey cool garage and that spells a NO GO enviornment. Fortunately my 2014 Challenger was still under warranty and the dealership took care of this with no problems. Nice videos though. Thanks for your time and valuable pearls of mechanical wisdom.
Your welcome Hector.....none the less you now understand what it takes to do the repair. Glad to see that it was taken care of and didnt cost you anything. Appreciate the kind words and make sure to subscribe
Hi I had the same issue, going to take it to the dealer. Did you use your powertrain warranty to cover this or the bumper to bumper? I am currently ran out of bumper 2 bumper but still under powertrain.
Good teaching and an admiral amount of patience, not a job I'd want to do more than once, unfortunately defective part only to be replaced by another brand new in time defective part, some Asian motor companies now offer a 7 year bumper to bumper warranty, unfortunately most modern vehicles are over complicated and too dependent on plastic parts. I once heard a mechanic comment, if you don't want to see me buy a Honda , just saying!
Yeah when I started seeing plastic parts on cooling systems I knew it was a matter of time before they started failing. Thanks Ian for the comment and make sure to subscribe
I can't overstate how educational and well crafted these videos are. So helpful.
I sure hope the mechanic at my local dealership is as sharp as you. Respect to you. A pleasure watching a professional at work.
Many thanks Paul! I hope the same as well.....thanks for the kind words. Appreciate you subscribing as well.
Yes. I want my Jeep dealership mechanic to watch this video even if he or she feel they don't need to. Just outstanding work!

Many thanks for all the kind words! Always happy to help and glad to see people using these videos like yourself. Dont forget to subscribe.
My man the production quality is getting better with every video. very impressed. well done.
Make appreciated......I have been making a few changes in both equipment and editing software. If only I could find a quiet shop as well lol. None the less......thanks for the comment. Glad to see you keeping up with the channel!
I watched many of these, and this is the one that makes more sense.
Straight forward, informative no bs video. Thank you
David, thank you for sharing this great video. You vids are the best.
Just replaced the oil cooler on my wife's early 2011 WK2 3.6. Wouldn't have tried it w/o your video. HUGE Thank You!!!
Thats Awesome! Great job and my hats off to you. Appreciate you using my video and for commenting!
Thank You.
I really like how you educate. You are very thorough stop and very on point with everything. You did a great job because this is what I'm about to do
Your step by step procedure and how detailed you were made it so much easier.
Your welcome and yeah....if you take your time you will save alot of money. Thanks for following the channel Antonio
I’ll be doing this tomorrow on my 2019 Chrysler 300s… thank you so much for the specs, great video over all!
I should have returned the part and just replaced the O rings
Thanks again. It took a little over two hours to complete the oil cooler R n R
@@skipwilliam5639 Thanks for the update and glad it went well.
Very insightful video. Great step by step instructions. Thanks for the great DIY video
remember about heat soaked evap plastic hoses.
Take your time and you should do okay. Appreciate you checking out this video and make sure to subscribe Jordan.
WOW. Best how to I've seen for mechanic work. Extremely well done!
All those pressure are gone
Thanks to you!
Sucks when issue happen like that but glad it’s all back together and working fine. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe
Replacement part failed - dang thing - bought an aluminum Dorman this time and hope this one works better, really disappointing but again, thankful for this great video to help me get it done.......again 😖😳😊
That is the best repair video I have ever seen! Thanks for taking the time to do it. Dealer wants $1100, this will be easy to do myself...after your video, of course.
my Chrysler dealership told me $1,200. I’m gonna do it myself if it take a week using this video from now on I’m my own mechanic,
Not the first time I’ve used your videos, I was top notch thank you!
Thanks for returning to the channel
@@MotorCityMechanic Small nitpick. I had to rewind from the torque spec to the torque sequence from. Beyond that the job was very detailed, applied it to a T&C.
Oh man I don't know how to thank you, but you saved my life
You are the best in this world
yep my 2014 ram had this done.
Thanks for sharing, David! I have a 2011 Journey with the 3.6 and my oil cooler is leaking. You make this job look easy.
Thanks Salvador! Appreciate the comment. Make sure to subscribe and check out the other videos as well.
I just did this on my dodge charger. No mechanic experience other than being a hvsc tech. It really wasn't as bad as I thought.
Many thanks for following the channel and for coming back when you need help. Its greatly appreciated!
I hope the mechanic at the dealership is as good as you, i have to get this done on my 2015 Challenger.
Thanks for taking the time to film this. It was a great help.
Thanks Gaither for watching and for commenting.
I wish I had seen your video first vs another video. Yours was way more helpful. Thanks for the help
Great video man. Very easy to follow instructions and the torque specs were awesome too.
My 2014 Dodge Durango has this leak going on.
Appreciate the comment. Thanks for finding the video and for watching it. Glad that the info included helped. Make sure to subscribe
@@MotorCityMechanic any idea why my car started overheating after changing this part?
Replaced thermostat radiator water pump hoses and reservoir cap
You Just saved me a lot of Money at a dealership!!! Thank you
Always happy to help when it comes to saving money
Great job David . Again great to see you love what ya do and it shows man .. Keep up the great work buddy !!!
Best video of them all. Very detailed. Perfect, it covers all areas.
Genial la explicación, Con lo poco de inglés que se, me bastó con la acción ejecutada que hiciste. Muchas gracias por la correcta explicación de dónde está y cómo cambiar un sensor de presión de aceite de un Dodge Challenger. De Chile mis saludos y Thank you very much!!
Muchas gracias por el comentario y por las amables palabras. Me alegra que hayas podido entender lo suficiente del video para hacer la reparación. De nuevo ... muchas gracias y asegúrese de suscribirse.
Am gonna fix my son’s 300, wish me luck🍀 , with this videos I’ll be fine, thank you
Good job congrats... i'm from brazil 2 days later i did The same in a dodge journey 2013... in my case it was convenient replace the gaskets, clean all the intakes and injectors and replace The spark plugs...
Thanks for the comment and for watching
Really enjoy your videos! Detailed and very easy to follow! You did great work cleaning everything up, and I know its just my OCD kicking in but I would have cleaned all the dust and dirt while I had the intake off. Thats just me though. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the comment and feedback. Keeping watching....there are always more videos in the works.

Many thanks. A lot of time goes into these videos and glad to see that they are appreciated. Make sure to subscribe if you havent already.
Great Video... you make me feel like im an experienced mechanic just watching your video!
Thank you so much for making this video! I greatly appreciate the details you put in to help a novice like me want to even try this. I followed it to the letter and the whole thing worked out great! I went with the new Doorman aluminum oil cooler assembly so hopefully this is a one and done swap out for me.
Thanks for watching. I do need to make a video on that replacement part in the near future
Great couple of videos. I cant wait to tackle my oil cooler leak now on my 14 Durango.
Thanks Earl for commenting about the video. Take your time and you shouldnt have any issues. Let me know how it turns out. Make sure to subscribe.
Bro, this was the absolute best how to do video that I've ever watched on something this tedious. You're awesome. Thank you so much.
This video just save me hundreds of dollars part one and part two keep up the good work and very helpful
I love you style! Through and detailed without being slow.
Thanks for the feedback!
You are very thorough and clear bro...I appreciate your videos much.
THANKS.
I think I have the same problem with my 2011 chrysler town and country 3.6. Motor looks identical except turned one time clock wise. Great video thanks for the info.
Your welcome and thanks for watching. The basic setup is the same other then the intake differences. Make sure to subscribe.

Your welcome. Glad that I could help. Thanks for finding the channel and video. Make sure to subscribe if you havent already.
