I swore I was going Paradym but my 14 Cobra shafts and the fact the Aerojet LS is simply better kept me in Cobra camp 3 years in a row Radspeed was shit Bryson was right!
Nice test, any idea how much spin would change at different clubhead/ball speeds? Like a general rule of thumb. I'm about 108-111. Idea for a video. Recently seen clips of Martin Borgmeister showing his gamer with an L flex. Had the change to try a tour ad iz 4 r2 that day and result was really nice - no snap hooks or push fades (which some say with a softer lighter shaft), did feel I could swing smoother. Higher flight than my 65 S evo iii, distance I think comparable - was at a range not simulator.
Thanks bovi. And to be honest that's very very tough to say. As even the smallest changes in the club delivery will change the launch and spin way more than speed would. So if we wanted to test that we would need someone that could swing at multiple speeds but still consistently deliver the same face to path, delivered loft, angle of attack and strike. So really we need a robot 😂 but I don't think it would be anywhere near as much as you would think. Yh I mean I've done an extreme driver shaft test on my channel where I do hit a senior flex right through to an X flex. Again nowhere near as much difference as people would think

That’s all well and good for you, but the majority of players (and let’s face it the majority of your customers) would have gotten nothing from this review because they are being steered towards a head that most players can’t hit.
The reality is the forgiveness levels between the standard model and the triple diamond isn't that much all. Far less than the marketing would lead you to believe. I've fitted countless mid handicappers into the triple diamond with great long term results 👌

I have been improving the last 3 years from a 18 to a 12 handicap and just started purchasing new clubs for the first time to help speed up my move into single digits handicap and I was surprised to be fitted into a triple diamond driver. I came in looking for a g430 Max and I got the same results, just much longer drives with triple diamond. If somebody plays consistently and hits well on the face they can enjoy the benefits of low spin well. Heck, one or two lessons can straighten out that swing!
Think that would just really scque the fairness of the test from a numbers perspective as I'd just be hitting huge draws which would create very low launch low spin and then it's not a fair comparison.
