No sheep were harmed in the making of this video! Great review. Looking at the data, this is a consistent driver but it not sending the ball further than last year's drivers and the spin is probably a bit lower than optimal. So a very good driver, as was Callaway's driver last year and the year before. Unless your driver is 5+ years old it is probably not worth the upgrade
Great review Andy; appreciate your communication skills! I think I've been paradymed! Have the irons and have also ordered the driver with 50g Project X regular shaft, 3 HL fairway, and 4 hybrid.
Thank you for an interesting review. When are you going to test the Paradym Max? I am 79 years old with a swing speed of 65 mph, carry 135 yards. Few You Tube videos cater for golfers like me. I would like you to get a golfer with a fairly low swing speed to test the MAX & you provide your honest interesting & helpful comments. I have subscribed & appreciate your videos.
Been fitted yesterday and got the paradym 9 degrees with a hzrdus black low spin shaft. That combo keeps the spin down and the ball flight not too high. Love it
Love detailed and in-depth review of the new Callaway paradigm driver. All I can say is…. Tempting ! LOL! Now I am so afraid to even test it ! LOL! I just love my Rouge LS Driver and I haven’t even had it 3 full months ! But, Jon Rahm did win yesterday in Hawaii with this new Driver. LOL! And now…… It appears it’s winning U over ! LOL! Can’t wait 4 your fairway 5 wood review of the Paradigm ! Thanks
Definitely interested in testing this new model as I enjoy hitting my Callaway Speed LS. Though the triple diamond might be more equal. The forgiveness and adjustable weight in the standard one seems more appealing.
Nice Andy, Yeah big problem with the price crazy money 💰. At the end of the day especially for high handicap players like myself, you would have to think what are you going to gain from it.I play a ping g20 have it 12yrs and wouldn't change it for the world fairway finder. If I purchase a new driver I would probably gain 10yrds or so. Looking at the new Stealth 2 very similar to the sim model. I would advise to try out the rogue, epic, first and see what you would gain with the paradym
The Standard Driver is designed for Mid Handicap Players. Triple Diamond is not designed for regular golfers. Also spot on with you comment about once you hit 240 Yards you are more concerned about Consistence. Agree 100%. For the Average Golfer this should be a standard thought process.
Thanks for the video. Great to see a demo in realistic conditions. Going to get a fitting with Callaway today. I really like the new look, name questionable, sounds great. Will be interesting to compare with my 15 yr old set of callaways.
I just got fitted for my first new driver after my first year of golf, and I walked out with the Paradym. Best distance and best accuracy. And man it looks nice.
Andy, it would be interesting for you to go get custom fit with that driver. Wonder what the differences in performance ( indoor and out) you might be able to achieve. Longer? Straighter? But stock off the shelf did well.
Really good review, about the different driver's in the range. Golfers want the easiest driver to hit, big sweet spot with good custom fitting, which is really important for everyone not just pro's.
Interesting video mate. Especially compared to the triple diamond. If I remember when the rogue range came out last year everyone was saying how much harder the triple diamond was to use rather than the max. The big question though is does it replace your Stealth?
Strong performance there Andy. I do feel the price point is going to scare a lot of golfers away this year. Me included. I was thinking about some equipment changes this year, but if this is anything to go buy, I'd better save up for 3 years time 🤣
I initially went for a fitting for the new paradym range, took my old ping G400 to compare and it turned out I was loosing more than 60 yards to these drivers BUT unexpectedly ended up getting the stealth 2 which I gained 15 yards more yardage, it was consistently more accurate AND half an inch shorter on the shaft. Each to their own though, still think this is the best sounding driver and I love the look of the new paradym range
Admire, and appreciate, your dedication :). I'm looking forward to seeing one of these standard drivers here and getting a few swings in. I agree the looks would take some getting used to but if it will perform for me like it did for you I'll take 2 thank you!
Why do reviews concentrate so much on the look of the bottom of the club? It’s either under a cover in the bag or on the ground. Love these outdoor reviews.
Because although it might not matter to you, how a driver looks is important to many, if it wasn’t then manufacturers would not spend so much time and resource on the design 👍
Looks fantastic and it’s only £600quid! I’m sure people will be flocking to pay that for one club! Is that sheep behind you or golfers lining up to purchase?
@@adrianmarkham2457 I’ve thought the same thing I just got the rouge still within my return period need to go try it myself and see if I need to swap it out haha
great review... I am curious what the local rule is for hitting/interference of a sheep for the course. We don't have those on the course in the states.
Considering the tsi3 driver but my budget will only support a used driver. There are no fittings close especially for used. I believe it is a solid head but shaft is a concern. I’m 75 with a 10 handicap with a swing speed of 90, mostly straight ball flight mild fade if anything. Not sure how to proceed on shaft. Any help would help. Thanks you and enjoy your post
As in this video weight and flex are important and not always aligned with swing speed, at 90 mph maybe you consider a shaft similar to that in this video
I have to ask. What is the penalty for hitting the sheep? We have geese around our courses. Not penalty but those suckers can get mean. The standard is one of the clubs I'm interested in going forward. They could call the thing the Callaway snotwiggler and if it works for me I'm interested.
Just played a round of 18 holes with my high school days Wilson Staff Fluid Feel Blades (~1989, over 30 years old) & TaylorMade Burner Plus ‘Woods’ (1st Generation metal woods with tiny head) and beat my handicap (6) by a stroke. I have decided that my 2021 APEX Pro irons with Callaway Rogue ST ‘Woods’ was my last new purchase of clubs and believe that for a player of my caliber new technology will not make that much of a difference...IMHO
I always find it funny when people complain about the price of a company’s flagship product. If you can’t afford it or don’t want to pay the price, it’s not aimed at you. There’s plenty of other drivers on the market at lower prices. It’s like complaining about bmw charging 80 grand for an m3 like there arent cheaper cars in their range.
Thanks for letting us know what shaft you’re playing and about a new club that’s not out yet - very useful for adding to our knowledge on the Paradym driver…….🙄
Even the carry distance is not realistic. The trackman optimizer chart as reference I still can’t see how you get 240 carry with ball speed in mid 130,s. Please enlighten me ?
I ask that question every time He does a review! I use TrackMan for fittings and you just can’t get that carry number from that ball speed… unless the settings are adjusted
I don’t understand your issue with the looks. The colors are more subdued which is great. It looks premium. I do agree that chevron is key and the best of any company.
Gee, I'll run out and spend $600+ just to get a few extra yards. When are we golfers going to say enough is enough and not buy these clubs. I doubt it would be long before the prices would drop to a reasonable cost.
Great review Andy. Still not sure I could put a Paradym in the bag, price not withstanding. Just an ugly club IMO. Love the sheep on the course though. A tricky course to walk though I'm sure.
Really pleased to see the standard head being reviewed out on the course
As always another great review and more insightful to the most percentage of golfers .
Much appreciated
The club hits the ball straight. Great f-ing sound.

Oh the joy of buying a new Paradym and standing on the first tee and ripping one 300 yards down the middle. Pure satisfaction!

@@TheAverageGolfer SWEET!
Last few callaway drivers have been really good. Heads seem a lot more stable. I’ve got a hazardous 50g shaft in my driver and love the feel of it.

The triple diamond most certainly did not give you the spin rate you need for control.
Nearly 270 total from 136 ball speed. Does not seem realistic. I get similar numbers with 146 ball speed.
I have little interest in the total column Mike it is the one piece of data which is based on assumptions
