He has such a gift for boldly preaching the gospel and the depraved man’s need for it. One thing I always think of and admire is his ending each of his opening prayers with ‘getting out of the way’ for the lesson.

I hadn’t watched a sermon from Jeff in sometime. When I heard him say Matthew 25, I felt as if I had woken up from a coma with strange memories of the number 24 pounding in my head.
The thought of my sin alone is troubling. So much. If u think of sin as tar, and God had taken that on plus ALL of humanity present past and future; its crazy to think the amount of sin God took upon him while on the cross. Its a punch to the face when you think of that. Extremely thankful to The Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jeff, fantastic sermon. I would like to say though that evolution does not betray God's creation. I believe God designed evolution to perfect His creatures with specific DNA codes that would fight off infections, regulate growth cycles, maintain homeostasis, carry on adaptations, and pass those on to their children. Evolution is not synonymous with mindless protoplasm. Edit: I have a degree in microbiology and biochemistry, and am currently a nursing student in Austin who rallied for HB3326 at the capitol a few weeks ago with y'all. .

If "one-thousand years" is meant to be taken figuratively, then it would be the sole example in all of scripture. I would invite you to pick up Matthew Waymeyer's book, "Revelation 20 and the Millennial Debate." He shows how anything other than the futuristic premillennial view does an injustice to the text.

If the resurrection hasnt already occurred then when Jesus said "anyone who believes in me shall not die but instead have life everlasting" then Jesus lied. When we physically die, believers have life everlasting and unbelievers are dead everlasting. The the judgement of death is eternal and the gift of life is eternal. the sheep & goats & wheat and tares are reference to the end of the age and the judgement of those under the old covenant. the last days of that covenant came with the judgemnt and there were those who were faithful and those who were not and they were given rewards or judgement. When we ask about our traditional beliefs, "Hell" is one that belongs with the futurists "rapture". The judgement of death is eternal. the words translated to "Hell" speak of "death", "the grave", "the place of the dead" or Gehenah which is a reference to national judgement. none of these words are translated as "Hell" are referencing a burning lake of eternal torture. When we speak of Justice, and we DO have a Just God, it is impossible to justify an eternity of torture for a short life of unbelief. ESPECIALLY when we know that God calls those who he saves. If God creates trillions of humans for the purpose of torturing them eternally, then you need to rethink your idea of Justice. The concept of Hell and Hades are GREEK and when the greek mind read "the place of the dead" they read "Hades" because their world view was Grecian. Many people use Jesus parable of the 2 men in Hades as proof of "Hades" but remember that Jesus taught in parables and he was speaking to a Greek audience. Jeff's a great speaker and love his videos, but i 100% disagree with his views on Hell and the "3rd coming" of Christ. Christ already concurred death. in Christ we have life. Death is defeated for His people. When Jeff refers to a final return, he doesnt seem to understand that ALL OF THESE THINGS HAVE COME TO PASS. We are living in the messianic age and we know that the expanse of his kingdom will never end. therefore, there is no final day to the new covenant because his reign and the expanse of his governance KNOWS NO END. all things are fulfilled. Hallelujah. the 2nd death isnt spiritual torture. its spiritual death. and end to existence. that judgement is eternal. you cease to exist. the gift of YHWH is LIFE. It is not escape from torture.

The the judgement of death is eternal and the gift of life is eternal. the sheep & goats & wheat and tares are reference to the end of the age and the judgement of those under the old covenant. the last days of that covenant came with the judgemnt and there were those who were faithful and those who were not and they were given rewards or judgement.
When we ask about our traditional beliefs, "Hell" is one that belongs with the futurists "rapture". The judgement of death is eternal. the words translated to "Hell" speak of "death", "the grave", "the place of the dead" or Gehenah which is a reference to national judgement. none of these words are translated as "Hell" are referencing a burning lake of eternal torture. When we speak of Justice, and we DO have a Just God, it is impossible to justify an eternity of torture for a short life of unbelief. ESPECIALLY when we know that God calls those who he saves. If God creates trillions of humans for the purpose of torturing them eternally, then you need to rethink your idea of Justice.
The concept of Hell and Hades are GREEK and when the greek mind read "the place of the dead" they read "Hades" because their world view was Grecian. Many people use Jesus parable of the 2 men in Hades as proof of "Hades" but remember that Jesus taught in parables and he was speaking to a Greek audience. Jeff's a great speaker and love his videos, but i 100% disagree with his views on Hell and the "3rd coming" of Christ.
Christ already concurred death. in Christ we have life. Death is defeated for His people. When Jeff refers to a final return, he doesnt seem to understand that ALL OF THESE THINGS HAVE COME TO PASS. We are living in the messianic age and we know that the expanse of his kingdom will never end. therefore, there is no final day to the new covenant because his reign and the expanse of his governance KNOWS NO END. all things are fulfilled. Hallelujah.
the 2nd death isnt spiritual torture. its spiritual death. and end to existence. that judgement is eternal. you cease to exist. the gift of YHWH is LIFE. It is not escape from torture.

Only what was referenced in the NT as having been fulfilled in the birth and resurrection of Christ. Is it your assertion that Christ has already broken the nations with a rod of iron and has shattered them like earthenware? That picture is one of absolute subjugation, and yet that is not what we see today. It would seem to me that this imagery is for a time yet to come.

The kingdon has two phases, it will begin in the millennium, and will extend into eternity. We know it is not existing now in its fullness because the kingdom of the Messiah has not yet crushed and put to an end all other kingdoms, which is required by the text.

Daniel specifies the kingdoms that will be crushed. He details what they are. That’s when the kingdom of God begins and never ends.
