The cut to Steven's note while he is working out may have been my favorite singular moment from the entire vlog series up to this point. The intimacy, profoundness, and commonplace of generating ideas in a gym are so perfectly intertwined.

Just a few minutes into the episode and just have to pause it to say something that stood out to me. Even when on work calls Steven takes the time to thank people. now that to me out of everything I have seen of Steven is truly inspiring! Even in what is a super busy schedule he never seems to fail to take that minute to make sure people are seen and appreciated…now that is a leader! Working in customer service I have seen how rare this is (even when people aren’t on their phones!) and so to see Steven doing this…just yes 👏🏻
As always I love the episode. Firstly the camera and editing are so good, secondly, I loved seeing how your team are like one big family, you all know how to work hard and have a good time. Such a valuable lesson. Thank you, Steven and the DOAC team.

Just wanted to say I was at the Glasgow show last night and I truly loved it 😊 I got home at 12.30am this morning and I’ve had 4 hours sleep but it was worth it. I am no business man but the little life hacks I pick up from the Podcast and RUclips channels are helping to improve me as a person. And my wife agrees 😊 thank you 🙏

How do you handle conflict within a team? Say you have 2 brilliant people disagree on a specific detail or direction? But then that can happen once every few weeks? Any tips?
Hard to believe these vlogs continue to get even more impressive from a cinematic and storytelling standpoint. Steven is one of the most inspiring people in the world, and Will has skyrocketed to a world class documentarian. Those 2 factors combined make these vlogs perhaps the most compelling pieces of content to ever hit RUclips. Can’t thank you enough for sharing.

297 pending tasks hit home with me in particular how he handles that in my case - anxiety. My understanding was Steve Jobs was a villian towards staff so the comment where he says his team was the most important product - contradicts this unless he never communicated it to them. Fascinating.

This was very choppy video. Tend to-be getting very samey - speaking at events - gym - how perfect your team is, getting on planes Has to be stuff that goes wrong and how deal with it- maybe some conflict. Dealing with real problems and humans. Maybe try not to focus on too many things - just pick two things each week and give more video time to these. So maybe your diary is like most peoples- repetitive and a lot of the same. 🙏🏻
Is this the future of new CEOs or leaders where one one lives and works like an athlete...? Keep mind and body fit conscious that the role he or she plays is bigger than himself or herself? Playing the game of entrepreneurship in front of a a social media landscape for all to see, criticize and hate?

here’s the thing. i subscribe to this channel and not the diary of a ceo, because there, there’s content overload. to me, it’s too much too often. i have a life, i read books, watch films and other youtube creators, and being bombarded with an hour and a half intellectually challenging interview is absolutely too much for me. so i don’t subscribe because i don’t feel me being a mindful viewer is being respected 😅

10,000 minutes plus another 10,000 minutes since my last comment after the CIA clearly vetoed last weeks intended video. Can i just say an absolute masterclass in editing once again, the taxi door transitions genuinely make me feel warm inside. I love the consistent messages in these videos and its great to hear how to grow as an entrepreneur from a single company to multi-company. It would be great to hear how to move from a full time worker to grow income without the typical "just do it" stance with the financial requirements of today's living do not allow. I feel so many people have so much to offer consulting outside of their 9-5 but with little opportunity to do so. The ski trip also looked INSANE, thats really what makes culture work! Great video, editing team again you guys are insane, great work
Towards the end of this episode where Steven is talking about books following you around; there's a really strange audio drop out; it almost feels like the audio for L-Cut wasn't placed correctly within the timeline. It's an easy mistake to make honestly, although it does seem strange to me that it's happened because I know how stringent your quality control normally is on your content.
P.S I hope you all had an amazing time during the ski-trip!

Just imagine this vlog becoming the best vlog in the world.
This was my least favourite vlog. The ending was completely different to all the others. No anticipating build up towards the next one. Felt just very meh because I know how great they can be and have been. Hopefully the next is an improvement and more inline with every other vlog!

Loving these vlogs. However there seems to be a side to Steven that feels disconnected - which makes these videos come across although enjoyable, seem superficial - perhaps you could show the moments you struggle, get nervous, tired, angry - and show what you do in those moments, show family members/girlfriend? Including how you support the team when they're going through something.
Just a suggestion and personal opinion but great work nonetheless. 😊

The episodes give a glimpse in the the actions behind what we see & hear elsewhere (shows/podcasts etc) and that's the interesting part. What does the team DO every day, every week that builds towards your goals & ambitions. I love seeing your actual diary. I'll be also interested to see how this changes over time - you talked about recruitment - how will the culture change as your team enter different lifestages? What will the team trip look like next year for those who are dads? You cant book childcare with 2 weeks notice!

I think this video alone made me just get Steven and the whole vision of the team and what actually defines the success.
I remember when the vlogs/bts first started, I’d probably skip most of it and not finish the videos off.
Although obviously subscribed!
Today, I’ve finished the video in full, and haven’t skipped once.
Then it clicked.
It was never meant to be perfect to begin with.
It was an idea, with passion and drive behind it.
Not too many wasted hours trying to get it perfect before launching a video.
Instead, it was raw, then rawer (if a word)
The success is built on accepting he wasn’t going to get it right straight away, he built a tighter knit community and listened to what they wanted to see.
Then slowly, it improves. week by week.
All because there was action.
ACTION means accepting chaos, running with it anyway, and being vulnerable enough to accept when it isn’t going your way. Eventually, a masterpiece is born.
What if we all just accepted humility and took action?
Just a thought. Props to you.
