I Built a LEGO Cake Mixer - And Baked a Cake!

  • I built a working LEGO cake mixer and then baked a cake using a LEGO mould!
LEGO Technic were used to make the bowl, cake whisk and mechanisms.
A LEGO minifigure cake mould was used for baking.
The cake mixture is pretty thick - an XL power functions LEGO motor was used and despite having decent torque definitely struggled with all the ingredients!

2 minutes to mix the batter vs. 2+ hours to build, service, and clean a Lego mixer. Why? For science!! Definitely enjoyed this one. Thanks for not giving up

That is why actual electric whisks, mixer & food processors have a large amount of torque, and mixed in a solid bowl 😉, it partly worked for this Lego toy ~ might have helped if the butter was pre-softened in the microwave

Pre-softened would have felt like cheating! Plus it would have dripped everywhere! Thanks for the comment!

the fact that you didnt overlay the layers of the "bucket" amazes me. kinda tells me how good you are at this.

He mixed cake batter with Lego and youre amazed by and take issue with the fact that the bowl windows weren’t overlayed?
