In last exercise, which is about subjects. I have small doubt that "that bats use echolocation" is a subject which means " It = hat bats use echolocation" , is that correct?

I came across a few other videos that presented two interpretations of similar-looking subjects: Incorrect: The teacher and scientist were applauded by the crowd Correct: The teacher and scientist was applauded by the crowd. Correct: The teacher and the scientist were applauded by the crowd. They said that without the second "the", the first sentence refers to only one person while the presence of two "the's" in the sentence indicates that it refers to two different people. Will you please help me?
Thanks for bringing this up, it looks like you're right, as I wrote it on an English proffreader and it came out with exactly the same correction. Were for the teacher and the scientist and was for the teacher and scientist. Good point for non-native speaker.

‘IN’ is grammatically the correct preposition to use.
