- On this video I show u the truth behind zippo with stickers. Let’s get rid or zippos with stickers and make 540’s only. Why would u buy one with a sticker for 30-35$ when u can buy a 540 for 40$. Makes no sense lol 😝
#zippo #sticker #youtube
Let’s get rid of zippos with stickers !! Make 540’s only. There’s only a 5$ difference between the two. Why would u get one with a sticker for 30-35$ when u can get a 540 for 40$
why are the 540’s better than stickers?
Agreed. I don’t even like engravings on them. Plain Jane is good for me
Yeah man they are also the cheapest and most slick looking. I don’t even like cloths with brand names showing.
I have a solid brass Zippo with USS Yellowstone (AD-41) engraved into it from March of 1995 and it is my favorite. I love engravings. Especially in brass lighters.
Yeah the engravings never wear off lol
Good Sunday morning my Canadian Zippo brother
Morning!
Two things Zippo should do better is...fix the hinges,so we don't get that overbite after a year of use. And get someone to come up with some better designs on them.
Yeah they should also change all the low iq employees
Stickers always kinda make the lighter look "cheap" to me. I dont mind engravings so much. Idk, to me a zippo is a classy lighter. Hard to maintain that class with a big worn out sticker on that front of it, lol.
Haha yeah agreed man.
Agreed brother! Stickers are fun but boy do they wear off quickly!
Yeah man better off getting a 540 for 5$ more
haha i knew it!!! i would pick that shit off so glad ive never gotten one
Hahaha yup saved your self a lot of heart ache
Zippo has alot of designs using the stickers but the prices are insanely jacked up. I find myself purchasing more Zorro designs for my collection at a third of the cost.
Yeah might wait longer in the mail. But zorro has some cool things.
I was just lookin' into the Woodchuck ones, wonderin' if they're real wood! I know they plant trees for 'em, but are they real wood...??
Yup a woodchuck zippo is the exact same thing. Zippo daily fix got one and he said after the first week it started chipping off
Got my pouch in the mail today bro! Love it, and the stickers that were in there aswell! I’ll probably make a short vid once I get it in the EDC rotation! Stoked I grabbed the orange and yellow one, looks even better in person!
Oh perfect. Everyone got their pouches now. U were the last one. Awesome bro ! Can’t wait to watch the video and review!
@@Zippofanatic77outdoors I can tell already I’m gonna love it. I’ve gotten so sick of the leather pouches from zippo. The clips on them are made of actual tin foil, And they constantly fall off. Got my patina case in my new pouch sitting pretty right now 😎. Honestly anyone who slept on these is super lame.
@@PyroMite0213 lmao that’s frigging awesome response. Yeah man I HATED those leather ones. Not to mention the leather wares off chrome like sandpaper. Plus the custom fit for any zippo on the paracord pouch feels nice when pulling it out.
@@Zippofanatic77outdoors I was impressed with how secure it is once clipped shut aswell! I put like 10 different cases in there and shook the shit outta it and not one fell out. You did a really good job on these broski. I might buy another one if you do another round of them sometime lol.
@@PyroMite0213 haha yeah for sure man. The next batch should be more multi coloured too. Obv every time I made one i got better at it. Have some new ideas also.
Hey so this might be a shot in the dark you’ll see this but I was wanting to know if you had more information on a Niagara Falls zippo I have or where I can learn more about them. I just recently found your channel and I kinda have a small collection I’ve had for about 15 years or so that’s been passed down to me from my grandfather after he passed. One of which is an EDC and that one specifically after watching your videos had me curious to inspect it more and it’s a Niagara Falls zippo that’s matte black with a gold Las Vegas engraving and deck of Aces across it, I tried looking up information on these but I haven’t had a whole lot of luck. It came in the all plastic hinged case and has the original zippo guarantee instruction booklet that was inside the case.
Make a video about them. Ill check em out. Show all the insert and bottom stamp too in the vid. Or post pictures in your community tab. Just gotta verify your email with RUclips and u can post in 24 hours. The Las Vegas one isn’t some rare valuable one or anything like that if that’s what your asking. I have a rather large collection of Niagara Falls zippo. And I have videos on all of them across my two channels. Go check them out if that’s good enough for u
@@Zippofanatic77outdoors I’ll post some pics to my community page as soon as RUclips verifies me. If that doesn’t work I’ll make a video. Thanks for the help.
@@SwaddleBeard no problem buds. Just let me know when it’s up I’ll tell ya what u want to know
@@Zippofanatic77outdoors alright sorry it took me a day to have time to get all the pictures. I put them in my community part of my page. There’s more than a few posts so I could get them all in there.
I have never understood this sticker thing. For show, no go.
I prefer a plain chrome anyways.
So many people are buying lighters only to put them on a display. For them the disappearing sticker is not a problem
Well here’s where your mistaken. Zippos are like cars the vast majority have one and they use them. Very few people are collecting or collectors. I’ve owned 6 different cars in my life and don’t consider myself a car collector lmao so yes the issue of the sticker coming off easy is a problem to the VAST majority of zippo purchasers. Just read the comments for urself lol
None of mine have stickers. .that I know of !! I better check ✅
Oh heck. My PBR 🍺 zippo. I think thats a sticker. But so far its holding up fine
So far, give it some real pocket time lol
I wonder if there's a protective coating you can put on them to make them last longer. Maybe a clear poly sealant. I have a Zippo I absolutely love. I thought it was painted, but perhaps it's a sticker. Either way, it rubbed off, and I'm very disappointed.
dont like how they are discontinuing the engraved dragons, bought one from zippo and it was a vynil sticker copy. ordered the real deal, and im gonna use the cheap sticker ripoff as a daily carry. once it wears out, ill get a zorro 912 and engrave my own dragon on it.
At least u got one befor they did
Thanks again for the content
My pleasure!
Yup i agree 100%!
Lol I feel it’s popular opinion. Put in the extra 5$ get a 540
Pretty sure The fluid removes them. Pretty sure it's even on the ronsonol bottle that it removes adhesive
Yup sure does
Does the zippo leather pouch ruin the sticker? I have a piece of leather covering the metal button to prevent scratching. What pouch or carrying device would you recommend
I use the paracord pouch I made myself. Also leather is used to sharpen metal. It’s much more tuff and abrasive than u think.
@@Zippofanatic77outdoors would love to order the paracord pouch I saw on your channel but the shipping costs to ship outside of North America is too much for me. Maybe one day when I save money. Official zippo fanatic MERCH would fit well in my collection
@@AliMer20 I have a video on how to make it urself
@@Zippofanatic77outdoors ahh yes i remember seeing something like that ebing recommended, ill check it out, thanks for the tip
No Stickers/Decals or Prints. I only have Lighters with "Zippo" engraved, Stamped or Lazer etched in them. No company logos, car brands, Music bands or Artists, No Sports Teams or Themes.
Yeah I hear ya Len !! Some dumb broad who claims to work there’s keep arguing with me telling me these aren’t stickers even though I can put it in acetone and remove the entire image on one piece. She’s trying to change the definition of a sticker in the dictionary lol
@@Zippofanatic77outdoors Always an expert. I showed a Toyota Salesman a Doorlock trick with the Remote He NEVER Knew about until I showed it to Him. I learned it with a MACK Truck key fob 10 Years ago! He thought he knew EVERYTHING about Toyotas because He worked there.
@@len-zeplin480 lmao look at the post I just made on my community tab. Go comment on it haha
👍🏼

@@Zippofanatic77outdoors 🤔😆
Mornin' all
Buds !
I bought a few brass zippos but they turn my hands green all the time 😂
Lmao I’ve been using brass zippos exclusively for the last 7 years so I’m gonna have to call your comment complete and utter bullshit hahahah never happened to me once. U must be wearing the fakest ass jewelry
Will the anne stokes sticker wear off if you scratch it with your nail?
Lol yes obviously. That sticker is not some magical one
@@Zippofanatic77outdoorshow much did you pay for that?
@@Georgios_koufianakis 39$ Canadian
@@Zippofanatic77outdoors damn that's pretty cheap, the one I wanna buy is a jack Daniels collection and it's 80 flipping bucks
@@Georgios_koufianakisis that for one or an entire collection
🚂👀
Not stickers. Period. Never have been and never will. Layered ink. And yes, I am in a position to know for a fact
Also, Ronson and Zippo - same fuel. Different containers
Haha ok watch this video then tell me your what your definition of a sticker is then lmao ruclips.net/video/QrYERFi_UVE/видео.htmlsi=IBlZukIAoTePRuio
Your gonna change the definition of a sticker in the dictionary???
A sticker is something that is applied as a whole. The reason the art comes off as a whole is because the epoxy paint is put on the lighter first, then the ink is put on in layers. This is for the chrome and possibly the brass. Matte lighters are direct ink layer. I was just told that they have new printing process like an inkjet printer unlike the old process which is a screen printer. I’m sure you can find a RUclips video of the process. This is jumbled haha
Just looked and can’t find one
@@Beans1514 Debbie I’m sorry For being rude. I’ve been through the roof cranky because I’ve started Quiting smoking this week. Has not been going well lol i apologize.
Just put a sticker zippo up the price so much
Yeah for real.
Hi there, I have one question for you.
The description of some zippos says, Color Imaging process.
Are the same or different to the Zippos with stickers. Thanks
These are coloured images I believe lol onto a stick
