    Nice segment on the Algoma steel lighter. Ones with a personal/family sentiment are always the best in my opinion

    Don’t have any Niagara Falls Zippos myself but something I feel as a collector I should have a few. Something new to hunt for !

      My question is, I used the new Zippo for 6 time and the backside of the flint wheel is already peeled of its paint and showing some paches of brass. What should I do? And is it normal?

      @@madanramanujam8134 the flint wheel isn’t made of brass so I’m not sure exactly what your saying my man. But should be fine

    Thats so cool, I bet your Dads and grandfathers zippo's are priceless to you. As you know I carry my grandfathers watch, the most priceless piece in my EDC.

      @@noblacksuit21 no I don’t have that one !!! I absolutely love it though. Beautiful details in that one. Also I ware the St Benedict ring. It has all the same images but on a ring. So I would def like to pick one up in the future. Don’t do tricks on it ! Lol

    Totally agree with your number one. The most valuable anything will always be the thing that has meaning to the owner. I have 60's ,70's, collectables and my first bought 1988 scrimshaw slim but my now 85 year old father gave me a 2013 engraved green with shamrock #1 for me. Cheers man

      @@Zippofanatic77outdoors I once won a ticket draw by wetting the tickets with the bottom of my beer glass and sticking a bunch of tickets together I imagined the lady reaching into the barrel and finding a clump tickets and taking one of the clump my ticket. (Dice go with poker table.) A poker table was the prize.

    I have a 1959 street chrome Zippo slim that belonged to my great grandfather. It has EAL engraved into it which is his initials. Out of the 11 Zippo lighters I own that one is my favorite.

    Some of the Joe Camel Lighters were only available through Camel. You had to send in redemption coupons from cigarette packs. They were called "C Notes".

      My Camel Zippo was the Firts one I ever Lost. Go figure I had to save 300 c notes to get one. Back then Smokes were $2.50 a pack. So that was a $750 lighter!

    You were right when you said they don’t make em like this anymore. It seems to me that the quality changed around 2000. It was when they started nipping the corners of the spring cams. It’s also when they did away with Roman numerals on the bottom stamp. What happened. A pre 2000 zippo is far superior in quality.

      Nice ! Stop at all the pawn shops and tell her to check Facebook market place. Probably find a Niagara Falls zippo nice and cheap with a cool story behind it

      @@bemseller5515 it will be stamped Niagara Falls Ontario on the bottom instead of bradford Pennsylvanian USA. There are lots of them in uk 🇬🇧 because they would order them from us instead of America. Canada and uk were always friends and trading partners.

    You ever use the zippo arc?. I have one it’s not bad and the fact it’s rechargeable I think is awesome.

      I bought one of those and immediately returned it. It was too bulky and had no reach. It's hard to light shit with it. I ended up buying another arc lighter with a long neck that's intended for candles. they work alot better.

I just don’t want to make that many zippos is the thing. I do enjoy doing it. But at my leisure and my designs. Doesnt feel fun if I have a dead line or gotta spend my weekends making customs.
