This right here is one of the greatest trance tracks ever produced. Breeder were on fire back at the turn of the millennium. Everything they touched turned into gold. No wonder Sasha had fast track access to all their acetates. Their original productions and remixes of Orbital - Nothing Left and Grace - Not over yet are top prog shelf material. Their magnum opus is however this remix of Phoenix. An era that will never be replicated. Lucky to have experienced it.

A track 'of it's time' which may well sound dated today if comparing to modern sounds, but as with many others, that's a large part of the appeal for those of us still living in the late 90's.
I want it to sound old😆

There are so much good tracks, I can't even make the permanent top 10 list. Also it changes with my own mood etc... Let alone tell what top 100 would be haha! Age does not matter at all to me, I either like it much or not... Most of the time the so called old sound has much better dynamics in tracks, so kickdrums and bass have really punch in them and hihats and other high sounds are much more crisp and clear, so very often old sound is just outright better than new, at least for me. In any case, I added this to my playlist.
Genuinely impressive what Breeder managed to do in the few short years they were around. Quarter of a century old, and this still puts a lot of today's productions to shame. Fantastic track.
This is an absolute masterpiece. Don’t usually like the saying ‘this song takes you on a journey’ but this one does just this. 10/10.
You ought to research Mark Shimmons 21st century trance. It's song number three. Actually it's song number four and it breaks into too bad ass songs directly afterwards.

Ah yes, Breeder my beloved...
Everything Rowan Blades and Simon Noble touched, be it their own tracks or their remixes, instantly turned into dance floor destroyers. Their back catalog is relatively small, yet every track they produced during their time together was nothing short of a masterpiece. Even now, 20-something years later, their sound is so unique and so ahead of its time, one can almost instantly recognize it's a Breeder track.
For everyone that's new to Breeder, I highly suggest checking out the likes of "The Chain", "Twilo Thunder", "Tyrantanic", as well as the rest of their productions - absolute peak progressive trance!
What a beauty of a track. The breakdown at 5:15 is something else. Truly the golden age of Trance.
The sound Sasha and John Digweed were all about in the 90s. I believe some version of this track was on one of the Northern Exposure Albums.
When I started producing I was making similar stuff about 13-15 years ago. The good old days.
Evolution, Breeder, Fluid Recordings. With those three at work together, you know its going to be good.
If it's not on Vinyl it's not Trance, period.
