For me the trance scene back in 98-2000 was all about tapping into the most euphoric parts of your brain and boy did they know how to do that!!!! That's what trance is to me, good trance anyway....its meant to take you on a jounrey of PURE EUPHORIA!! I hit the scene when the ecstasy was at its peek, that combined with such euphoric melodic trance & surrounded by great people who were there for the same reason as u were was and still is unbeatable. I had so many legendary nights out. So many great memories made. It almost hurts to listen to a mix like this because i am not the same now as i was then due to health issues. I was so strong and vibrant back then, i was popular with the ladies and life was just so organic and exciting. The fake world the internet has created has ruined so many things for me personally. If i could go back i would go in an instant, no thinking ide be gone and in my element once again! God bless us all 🙏🏼
Truly magical. I am convinced this era was a paranormal time. Something happened 1998/1999 that just created this monster of trance classics. Truly paranormal period. Other worldly stuff, and I was up front on every dance floor I was at. Great memories.
It was called great, safe and wonderful ecstasy. So good you remember the feelings when listening to the same songs you did back then. Serotonin FTW!!!
During the years I went to school, there was no internet at home, no camera phones, only in internet cafes and it would normally take 1 week to download 2-3 music files and some used to fail midway or used to be dud files. Therefore, I used to wait for Saturdays with my 2 in 1 aka cassette tape recorder + radio. Around middle of the evening, right after sunset a particular radio channel used to play these golden tunes and I used to record them from the radio into my cassette tapes, after the show I'd re-listen to the tracks and overwrite the ones I didn't like next week. It was quite an unrefined technique but good memories were built around them. I'm so glad that these can now be accessed with a few clicks and be played over pretty sick bluetooth tower speakers these days. Thank you, Martin. You've blessed the world in a kind way!
