The argument about cameras is an interesting one though, watch any crime documentary to see how many there already are and without which there'd be even less crimes solved. Merseyside Detectives on C4 is just one case (2 actually) in point.

Everyone should protest by giving up driving for a week.
    Nobody drives to work,

    Nobody delivers food to shops.
    No taxis or busses.
Everyone without a blue light on the roof should stop driving or take some of the blame for letting this happen.

The first 1 minute and 30 seconds has been my argument with many friends/family and people who live near by - where and at what point do you draw the line in the sand ? when you cannot afford to feed yourself because your giving all your money to government and council taxes for some BS law they bring in, its like the council tax, water bills, are they value for money ? do you get the option to pay or not ? they basically demand money from you every year and this is what you pay - end of, regardless if they are putting dangerous chemicals in the water, not providing services locally etc - when is it going to be enough is enough ? people need to wake up that all of these laws and taxes they bring in only work if you keep paying them - it really is that simple - just say NO !

The problem is, they will make examples of the first few who protest. Long jail terms. Nobody wants to put their head above the parapet. I guess there needs to be a critical number of people rebelling such that the system is overwhelmed and the chances of prosecution for an individual in a huge crowd is small. When people realise it's reached that point, things will get out of control.
Far better to vote our way out. Farage seems the best hope, but even he doesn't go far outside the overton window for fear of the deep state. God only knows how it will end. I moved away from cities 17 years ago, the writing was on the wall then.

Primary Legislation: I.e The Road Traffic Act
Secondary Legislation: I.e The Local Government Finance Act
What this means is a If the lower tier of Legislation breaches the higher tier, therefore it is Legaly invalid.
In the comment (if you can still find it) it mentioned it is a breach of the Bill of Rights Act 1668 (constitutional legislation) to issues
fines or forfitures.. because of offences against Road Traffic Act. (Primary Legislation).

I drive between 1500 and 2000 miles / month and this by working remote with driving 2 days into the office, what is a 90mls / day.
They introduce this, I will honestly either lose my job, or companies will simply have to move to remote work, what will reduce footfall in cities. A good third from our 300 people in our office live like me, over 25mls from the city centre, living rural (Scotland).
I for example can not rely on public transport; the closest train station is 15mls and then it's another hour into Glasgow Central.
And government wont scrap fuel duty.

I arrived in Oz from the UK in 1972 and front seatbelts were mandatory back then and had to be retrofitted to older vehicles. Rear seat belts became mandatory a short time later, the AI does not always get it right and you can appeal a fine issued for phone or seatbelt offences.

Seatbelts do not always save your life. It depends on the accident. My brother fell asleep in Northern Ontario in his old MG roadster and went off a cliff. He was thrown out first roll and ended up with just a cut lip. There was nothing left of the MG by the time it reached the bottom. Know other accidents where kids would've been killed if they had seatbelts on after being hit in the side by large vehicles. I know of one child death where a child was in a car seat in the back just after the law came in where under 10s couldn't sit in a front seat. The car was hit by a huge tipper truck which destroyed the rear half of the car. If he had been in the front seat, he would still be alive. Seatbelt wearing should be a personal choice.
A fireman friend of mine would never use kiddy locks with his kids after going to accidents and not being able to get back doors open to rescue kids in a burning car.

The scheme is being set up not by the whole council, not by committee but by a single old lady councillor greeny who is blatantly anti-motorist. If you ride (for example) an 800cc bike, you will be charged the same as a 3litre+ car. It will be cheaper to park your 1200cc car than your 800cc bike, *even though the bike is less polluting.* Not fit to govern.

And will AI be cross-examinable in court? Two, "they" are tapping the 'low hanging fruit" in order to construct a two-tier policing structure over us. In other words, we are complying with, and paying for, our own enslavement. "They" are over playing their hand... and "they" will never stop trying to devise means to cement our 'imprisonment'.
