Like many people, Elon inspires me beyond anybody. The rent story probably has some basis to it. But the likelihood is that he is using it as a descriptive for personal borrowings. There is all sorts of specific incident information he's gone through, along with his brother and other people, telling stories, in detail, about not having rent and asking specific people for help; Driving a total beater car that was on it's last leg because he couldn't afford anything better, and needing to borrow money to repair it, having to learn how to do repairs himself because he couldn't afford to pay a mechanic, etc. Elon is the real deal. I think you need to widen your scope of what humans are. True, humans do a lot of terrible things, but we also do a lot of good. If you need an example, just look at Elon. A lot of people do a lot of good less publicly. The wildlife consevist. The teacher who helps the kid in need. We have a choise in life. We are free to do bouth good and bad. So we need people to actively do good, or else the bad will outweigh the good. Be a human worth saving.
