I'm an akropavic guy. I put my full system on my r3. By myself. Very easy, much easier than car lol. Just take your time and do it right ya know. Hardest part was making sure the header bolts are all the same. Especially now with 4 headers vs 2 on the r3 lol. If I get the r6 though ain't no way I'm touching a 2k exhaust for awhile 🤣. Also weird you had to take off the o2. My akrop came with a spot for it.
RE: Air Filter Grease: Grease on perimeter is to help seal the edge and make it easier to slip into groove on the airbox. The filter element has a light oil, like 0 wt, or even the consistency of WD 40.
ah the joy of working several hours on your bike. That's what i felt after working on my Ninja 400. Also, definitely sounds way better without the baffle
Thank very much. Ill do on my R6 after first oil change. I just put slip on exhaust. I want louder so soon ill remove the cat. Your video is very helpful!
The flanges are usually a pretty close tolerance fit to exhaust tubing. Usually easier to assemble with flanges already on tubing. Akra, for example , usually already come that way.
Hi mate nice video, I was wondering if you capped the air box where the air intake was connected, I think you did but the video did noy show it, by the way iit is best to put the cap from the inside the airbox because it is the part that goes in pressure, if you installed in the bottom of the airbox even with a cable tie you risk to lose it,(it happened to me ;))
Love the sound of tour exhaust man. I quickly searched Leo Vinced after watching another video comparing it to other aftermarket exhaust. Good job on the DIY. More power on your channel.
RE: O 2 Plug on Pipe : Would have been better to resolve the issue of seating before pipe install. I have come across some Akra that were cross threaded. I have correct taps to clean threads.
are you located in California by any chance? I've always wanted a Leo Vince full exhaust but no websites I've found sells a full exhaust Leo and ships to CA because of CARB laws
Great Video, this will save my time guessing what to do. I cant wait to install my Akra to my 2020 r6 same like urs. any problems that you encounter that is not included in the video?
Nope... any and all problems faced was documented in the video. Honestly, this is the most COMPREHENSIVE demonstration on exhaust / air mods for the R6 on YT at the moment (in one video). Just follow it and you will do fine. If you haven't ordered your Akra yet, I would suggest getting the LEO just like mine. It is the best tbh.
Wauw!!! Awesome. What a machine!! Sounds better without baffle, but maybe on a long ride you want to put it back in. Anyways. This is so cool. Let us 👂 the rev’s soon. Grtz from your 🇳🇱fan
Great vidéo bro, your channel make me buy an r6 too 😅. Now i'm gonna make the same modifications but let me know something, why do you remove the ais sensor ? Is it much better ?. Thx from Paris ✌️
It is smog related and together with C02 sensor removal and a tune, it increases performance. Mod list is in the description if you want to support me! 👍
@@PetroHead only thing i recommend with installing, is the 12v source to make it downshift blip is splice it to your rear license plate light and not the front brake 12v source. so you can blip down whenever ABOVE 3000 rpm. thats the lowest limit for it to work.
Was there a plug included to take the place of the plug removed for the air / smog or servo ? Some pipes have that to avoid the dreaded engine code light.
Did the baffle make a big difference in the noise level? I'm thinking of getting the same setup but worried it might be a little too loud (for me, and the police 😄)
Sound got deeper and louder. Stay tuned for first impression video(S) and final review. (if you don't rev it up, its not too bad... just a very deep bassy sound.. you'll like it.)
Hi dude Iv just ordered this exhaust. 😃 can you fit the 02 sensor back on to the Leo vince? Can it hurt it? Don’t think I will get it flashed. Or do I need to? Thanks bro.
Hi mate, thanks for reply. Ok cool I don’t know much about this stuff as it’s my first bike. I’m in the uk. Ok sounds like I should get it flashed. Would I be best to leave the senor off? Or would this affect power. As I say I’m a noob at this an don’t really have a clue. LOL to be honest the power is savage as is. LOL I bought the bike with a akra megaphone on it no cat. It is very loud, I’m looking for a perfect sound like yours. 👍🏻

The air filter comes greased because that's how it filters the air. The grease catches the particles as your bike intakes air!
Good to know! thank you.. 🙏
22:50 duuuude, love how you can almost hear a pulse in the engine idle, its alive.
Your bike is a beauty and you give inspirational advice from a R3 rider
Great vid. Very helpful info! All of your R6 vids have been extremely helpful in me modding my 2019 R6👍🏽
Awesome bro... Got a few more things coming soon. Stay tuned 👍
It’s crazy I came here just for the O2 sensor part, no video on RUclips has it

Emissions BS (C02 and EXUP) are disabled via the ECU upgrade so no need for the dead weight.

did you have to replace the exhaust gaskets when installing the exhaust

TI and Yes.
