Would love to see another Xreal video where you talk about the experience of reading ebooks, articles, notes (think OneNote, EverNote, etc.) while wearing these walking.
Great video as always and thank you for reviewing the lens inserts. When I tested the Xreal Air (1) I was curious about what my lack of prescription glasses experience would be. I decided, from my existing progressive lens prescription, I would only benefit from a distance prescription. and that the reading prescription I use would be far too strong. Even without a prescription lens insert, it was pretty much already in focus (10 feet away floating screen). I didn't make any purchases still, LOL. Re. Nebula on Windows, it is hard to fathem why XReal have not pushed hard to get non-beta or best-in-class software released. With Snapdragon X Elite just around the corner, there will be a rapid expansion of the Windows on ARM device ecosystem. Xreal may be late to that party again also. Keep the reviews coming and thanks again.
My pleasure, the bluelight filter was quite a bit helpful at night for me. I hope xreal works harder on their software, it's really limiting the capabilities of the glasses.
Awesome videos, ur videos made me bought my Xreal Air2. I'm mainly using my ROG Ally as my main so having Armoni is Great!! but i'm having issue setting it up, can you do a step by step? I manage to add the vitural monitors but cant use Armoni properly.
First of all, great video man! I have recently discovered xreal air glasses and I have been searching for specific information about their use in “productivity” multi screen scenarios. I have a work laptop (lenovo thinkpad with Nvidia Rtx A500) and I was wondering if this software could perform better than nebula (they claim rtx 3060 or above). Im really confused whether i should or not buy.
do you think it's weird that i'm so distracted by your safety while your riding your e-bike with a virtual display in your face all while doing a video that for me it's taking away from the message your trying to say in the video. I'm worried about your safety. anyways thanks for putting more videos out either way.
There isn't a virtual display in the glasses while i was riding, it's static view to the conner of my eye using dex which is no different than having navigation in your car that you glance at. You can also only get that virtual display when connected to a Windows.
When I try armani it wasat smooth for me moving my head. It kind of jitters or moves in small increments quickly. I adjusted the movement values in the settings but still not smooth. Other than that issue the software is impressive. I wish there was a smooth follow option too though.
I had some of those issues too but then i activated the Exponential Moving filter and set my smoothing factor to 0.805. That helped, though the screen drift is annoying, but it'll work for now.
@@KingKola_ I been using ARMONI daily and like it more and more. Its very smooth for me now that I used a virtual display instead of a headless HDMI plug. I don't exactly have the typical kind of drift like with the beam/nebula (if I keep my head still, the screen won't ever drift away), but with prolonged use the center point will eventually move from center - maybe this is some sort of drift though.. Slightly annoying yeah, but I've been using the screen movement limit function to recenter which is easy. My virtual screen is ultrawide at 5120x1440, so I set pitch movement to 0 and yaw movement to 100 and screen movement limit to 1100 and it works nice for me like that. So if the screen becomes off-center to the left, i move my head more to the right (further than the virtual screen) to move the center back.
How is the resolution in Armoni? I send my xreal air pro 2 back because the software was slow, which wasn't as big of a deal as the poor resolution because I couldn't read much in Excel because everything was so small and by increasing the appearance of windows the screen became too small in terms of the number of windows I could put at a screen. Is the Armoni maybe better in doing that?
I don't know if you knew, but you could increase the size and distance of the screens in nebula to read text very clearly. Either way, though you can configure your virtual windows resolution to anything. Literally, i typed mine up to the exact resolution i wanted, but this is all done in virtual window set up not ArMoni, Armoni simply shows it. I did put a link to a video that shows how to set up the virtual windows.
@@KingKola_ hm, okay. Maybe you are right and my concerns with the jittery experience and the possible longterm negative effect on the eyey made me bias. My pc (surface book 2) could only handle ultrascreen or wide-screen, but not more than 2 screens. Maybe I check it out in the future again after hearing that one can even order blue light filter glasses and there is a smoother app now. Thank you very much for your time!
I cannot make nebula windows to work. My system satisifed all the system requirements. But i do notbsee the multi monitors. Did you have a hard time as well?
@@KingKola_ yes. It recognizes the glasses. In fact, i can see my desktop screen on it even without nebul. But when i run nebula and configure 3 screens, i can see 4 screens in display settings instead of 3. But i do not see anything on the glasses
@gavinlim3143 interesting, make sure your screen is in an extended mode, if that doesn't work try duplicate, and try different screen options such as 2 screens, ultra wide and so on. And if all that still doesn't work, then ArMoni is your best bet. In fact i use ArMoni more than i use Nebulat simply because it uses way less power.

what gpu do you have using xreal? It says it recommends at least rtx 3060, but I am wondering if a laptop with integrated gpu is enough?
I am using Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050Ti, I recommend using armoni, that's gonna be more stable on most PCs

Does the program recognize your glasses when it's connected? Also, are you connecting via usb - c?
