- In this episode we hit the road on our Honda 90's, starting in Anchorage Alaska and head to the most northern road in North America at Deadhorse in Prudhoe Bay in Alaska.

To the gentleman in this video, let me offer some wisdom from the wrong side of 68 years and 50 years of adventure/tour motorcycle riding: a woman who can share such adventures, with all the discomforts, and stay in good spirits, is as rare as hen's teeth and worth her weight in gold. Treasure her!!!
Absolutely! Shes amazing
Riding a woman? :)
@@BassOutcast I've been watching the Itchy Boots channel lately, a Dutch woman who has been making a living posting videos of her globe-trotting on a Royal Enfield Himalayan 400. She has an irrepressibly sunny personality through thick and thin, even her horrible last few weeks in Peru under CV19 lockdown. She always rides alone, though, no man to argue with or blame misfortunes on. Thankfully, she's back home now.
@@BassOutcast Per his last video from Sept 4/2020, they're still together
@@BassOutcast nooooooooo dont ruin it!!!!!!!!!! DAMN, I'm tryin to watch this in order after stumbling upon it.😤
Please delete your comment out of respect for the next readers. Smh
Some of us actually like to experience the ups and downs in order
Man, that walking guy sure one upped you two.
Ch0plol more like twenty upped. Dave is a total badass!
That guy literally walking up the highway is a legend! Wanna know more about him! Nice video.
yeah.. i wonder what his purposes are.. and the fact that he can't speak english poperly in the mostly english speaking country makes me more curious!
Norio Sasaki , no news was ever heard about him after 2016
@@zheo417 who is he? where is he come from? and what's his purpose?
@Lane AWD ikr
He's the Man from Taured...
Me wondering if I could go on a long trip with my DRZ400sm
These two on 90cc bikes!
BTW, that guy pulling that white cart was walking for a lot more than 4 months. I was a truck driver on the Alaska Highway for a few years starting back in 2006 and he was walking across BC and Yukon on his way to the Bering Sea to cross during winter. Some guys gave him food or warm clothing and apparently he had been walking for years, starting in South America. It was some kind of spiritual thing to walk back home to Japan.
Impressive.
Why is long way round and long way down so popular when this series is so much better? Your videos are absolutely amazing.
absolutely. the series is a gem.
Corporate sponsors.
because of this man, I sold three of my motorcycles. My Honda GL 1800 Goldwing, my Moto Guzzi norge, and my commuter Honda pacific coast. I replaced the loss of those three motorcycles with a Kawasaki Z 400.
this guy made me realize that you do not need a large motorcycle. over the last three decades, I kept getting larger and larger motorcycles. I started out on smaller ones, but I just kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger ones. Now I am on what I consider to be a small motorcycle, and the fun is back… I actually can scrape by with just 48 hp..
This is the best most entertaining video on the Dalton Highway I've watched. You are so incredibly lucky to have that woman in your life. Finding a woman with a sense of humor who would ride that is incredible. Treat her well.
Back in 2010, I rode from Phoenix, AZ U.S. to Prudhoe Bay, AK and back on a Yamaha XT225 built from the parts of 3 different bikes and a lot of aftermarket parts. I rode alone, and carried 6 gallons of gas, 4 gallons in the aftermarket Clarke gas tank, and 2 more in 1 gallon jugs stuffed in Tusk tank panniers. I barely had enough for the final ride into Prudhoe Bay. You have to be careful getting gas in Prudhoe Bay, I filled up with some that had water in it. I found out about that about 20 miles after leaving. Fortunately I had a carbureted bike, and was able to clean out all the watered down gas, and use the 2 gallons of good gas to get back and get gas from a different place. I managed t fins an empty clear 1 gallon jug, and filled it up 4 times, to make sure there was no water at the bottom. Other than a flat tire, that was the only issue on the whole trip.
Don't be afraid of the trucks on the Dalton. They won't try to run you off the road. Yes people have been hit by rocks thrown up by them, but it's not their fault. It's a gravel road, and they have to make good time. You wouldn't believe what they are being paid. They're not getting rich though. It costs a fortune to live up there. I believe every single truck driver waved at me.
I could never made it up there on a C90. I weigh 240 American pounds, about the same as an XT225 without gas and oil. A C90 would have broken in half under me. I posted this trip on advrider.com. The pictures and video are not great. I did not have a drone or a tripod, and didn't want to have to stop and set up photo shoots. I just took pictures and video when I had the opportunity. I was 51 years old at the time. Just turned 62, and am planning another motorcycle trip.
The Dalton can be fairly easy at the right time of the year, IF you are prepared. It is an absolute nightmare at the wrong time of the year. You run the risk of freezing to death, or crashing on the icy roads. If you go at the right time, it will never get dark, which causes some mental confusion. Having been in the military, I chose to use military time instead of trying to deal with AM and PM.
You taught me more about Prudhoe Bay, in this one video, than I have learned my entire life. And I'm an American!
"Arctic Circle
Coldfoot
Deadhorse"
I feel like most people would read a road sign like that and question their adventure. You people are amazing !
I have a Honda Trail 70 from when I was a kid. Indestructible bike, quite literally. We abused it horrifically, never did any maintenance on it until something broke and 40 years later (yes, I am old) it is still running. I think the bike is a 1974 model but I am not sure. My dad bought it used in 1979 when I was 5 years old. I keep it up at my cottage and we regularly drop it in the river. Starts every single time after be flood it. Legendary.
I remember seeing the guy with the cart when trucking to Alaska. There was another guy from Italy that was pushing a cart from Anchorage South too. I stopped and chatted with him one time on Army Hill in Northern BC. I did not see you guys in my many trips to Alaska. In 2006 I went up the Dalton on a BMW 1150 GS and it was poring the whole trip. That heavy bike definitively sucked big times.
you guys are so awesome. I'll will share this video to my Honda Super Cub club in Vietnam and let them know how far a Cub can go. Respect!
rachael is a gem. You guys are great together
Love the longer update, love seeing all of the footage. Thanks for sharing you're adventure.
Out of all the channels I'm subscribed to that have 1 million+ subscribers, this is definitely on my top 3 most fascinating. I really hope this series blows up and succeeds.
I love the reality and the humor of your videos - and I really like the way that you and Rachel interact to give the viewer a very enjoyable vlog.
Thank you for filming your adventure and sharing it with the world.
This is fantastic stuff. Well done.
This is bloody brilliant. Watched a few vids out of order then went back to start to watch them all. Amazing stuff, I love it mate.
I needed this series. You are an inspiration. Getting a bike and continuing my life. ✨☮️💟🕉✨
Nothing shy of brilliant. Somebody out there knows how to produce and edit an adventure video, that's for certain.
Now with the Jeep 😅
Great update Ed
Looking forward to watching the rest!!!
You two are my heros!
Really great stuff Ed! Inspiring trips on a Cub! Building my own custom streetcub at the moment, these vids made me fall even more in love with the little honda :) Thanks for the ride along all the adventures! Donated some, Cheers!
This was hilarious! Great job you two, excited for more!
cant wait until next episode
Awesome episode ... always great to see the updates , keep them coming and ride safe.
Such a fantastic video guys. Looks like you had an absolute blast! Keep them coming :)
Was going to tag you in this one. Knew you would be watching soon anyway. Great start to an amazing c90 adventure.
Haha you know my style man! The sense of humour throughout this video is spot on. Makes me want to try the RTW on a ct110 instead!
Best freaking show on youtube! I'm so looking forward to the next updates!
Although it makes my trip from Hamburg to sicily on my Honda Hornet look a little small ;)
Amazing video Ed. I've only just discovered your stuff and it's really great stuff to watch in 2020 :D
Great video, nice to see you back on the road. Saw you both at the Calgary bike show but did not get to speak to you as you had quite the crowd around you but listened to some of your stories. Hope you enjoyed yourselves through our part of the world and the trip continues well. Ride safe.
What a great adventure! Love that you did it on C90’s! I’ve often thought that those Honda’s would be the best bike for a global trot and you guys proved it.
'Global trot' sounds like a devastating digestive disorder!
I'm hooked - not taking a break now until I've seen all your Vids. Super Duper stuff. This is more exciting than waiting for the next episode of Coronation Street! Keep 'em Rollin.
Great video. Really looking forward to following the trip. I can't wait for the next episode.
To be honest this kind of small bikes concept of travelling. is fantastic...totally different from many others I appriciate it...very much.I also enjoy to see many different countries . ..especially the types of transportation...they commonly use in everyday life ..for example in Taiwan they tend to used scooters..than other type of motorbikes....etc
Just stumbled across you guys, really enjoyed this vid and looking forward to seeing the others. Keep up the travelling and fun!
I rewatch this and still amazed, you're awesome guy ed 😁😁😁
You guys aren`t quite right, which is why I enjoy y`all so much.
another nice episode
Loving the C90 adventures
Absolutely brilliant, Ed & Rachel! :)
Thanks for the inspiration I've just gone and got myself a CT110
Loved it! Probably even more because it's not on a 1200GS but on C90s...yey :D
Agree! I love how you see videos of guys in AWD and in GS1200 fully equipped talking about the challenge it is and how difficult it is. Then you see a couple dorky guys doing it in 90cc bikes with technology that was old in the 50s
The explosion effects and sounds are so funny 😂 iv just watched ur mini jeep videos and now gone back to these cause I love the way you edit ur videos and how funny and silly you are ❤
Only just found your channel... dude this is awesome so
Entertaining, well
Done

you two make a great team .. be safe!!
I love this video, laughed all the way thru it.
Best adventure tour. Great job. Ride Safe.
Enjoyed that. Love the bikes 👍

Legend c90 power!!!
Only just discovered your channel. It’s amazing what you are doing! Your bikes are beautiful. Rachael is amazing to, my girlfriend would never do that in a million years, your so lucky.
I wish could do this....
You are the greatest human to ever live.
I think the guy who was pulling the cart is Wan Lee from totalruckus. He drove his 50cc Honda Ruckus around US some years ago
I thought his name was Dave ?😁
I heard his name is Wantsto Wok.
First time watching you, really enjoyed it. Well done.
I am gutted that I have not discovered Ed before now, but also happy to have discovered this channel because I've got lots of cool stuff to catch up on! 😂
Haha great stuff! Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Fantastic. Great episode.
What fun! Thanks for the videos.
Great update!
omg I'm loving this!!!!! Why am I soooo late to the party?? Excellent!!
Ditto. I've been following a few including Itchy Boots and Million Dollar Bogan. But this stuff is the best entertainment
Awesome love watching all your videos
Great editing job. Thank you very much for uploading.
Some "nutrition"-money for the C90`s is comin` up.
Have a great time.
Greetings from germany.
Nice work you 2 : ) destroying the myth that you need a big budget and even bigger bike to complete this amazing journey , big thumbs up for sharing , have a beer and wine on me plus some crisps ; )
Blinding vid guys you have cheered my boring day no end
Keep the vibs coming
Dude.. You're a legend..!!!
Found this looking for something similar to a coast to coast trip on groms I saw, and so far this is definitely more entertaining
Holy shit you two are real heroes, thank you...
17:43 is so majestic!
Brilliant video, Ed! Did feel like it could do with a bit more explosions though...
Keep them coming and have a safe ride.
"the moss key toe" dude hit all of the syllables... hard. PIP PIP CHEERIO MATE! I SAYS I SAYS! I DO I DO! RIGHT Real talk, I love the 2 of them. super cute people. I am glad to see their happiness! I honestly wish noting but the absolute best for all of them and I am excited to keep watching the videos! thanks for posting such intimate and laborious content. It isn't lost on me and I thank you! :-)
Greetings from indiana U.S.A. so much enjoy your adventure on your Honda 90 pair of bikes, what fun. I put myself in your place as in 1968 I did the same thing in Alaska on my wonderful Suzuki kt 120 from indiana to alaska and return but no video sorry to say. Only awesome photo moments...enjoy as I do
You need to upload more videos asap!
Just making the final touches to the next one actually :) winter was -34oC on the bike, so I've been delayed.
Love this guy.
Loved the video. Did that ride on a BMW R1200 GSA in 2007. You were lucky. Blizzards can happen in the Brooks Range any time of year. Grizzlies, Black bears, moose, and wolves are no joke up there. And when they run a grader over the calcium chloride impregnated mud, it's like riding on 6 inch deep whipped cream. If you broke down, it costs a fortune to have someone come from Fairbanks to haul you back. It was $5 a mile both ways in 2007. Can't imagine what it is now.
welcome to Bangladesh and to my home too. I have also Honda super cub c50. we will traveling all part of our country . so welcome again to the world biggest sea beach country Bangladesh.
It's interesting to see how wave-free the Arctic Ocean is. It barely gets any tidal effects due to the orbit of the Moon, and in the summer the wind dies down too, so there's almost nothing to generate waves.
Now I want to go get a Honda 90 and ride West to Alaska
Friends and family built the Dalton hiway aka the haul road. My father was a north slope legend as he was on the north slope drilling wells in the early mid 1960s .
Great post...! most entertaining
God deam, i am watching videos about traveling for almost 10 years, but today I am fucking happy because of RUclips logic!!!! I have never seen something better. Good luck and looking forward for next videos.
I cant wait to get my CT90 up and running. Just bought it last week, it needs some TLC.
Love your guyses humor
Only one 10min video of your life is more interesting, fun and njoyable, than my whole 21 years in this world. :D
Awesome vid! Keep m coming!
BRILLIANT!!!
sending love from Nairobi Kenya
Awesome Trip guys! I was up the Dalton in 2013! Your bikes were spotted in Dryden, ON yesterday, so by now you've passed me! Good luck on your journey to the east coast...damn cold out here the last 2 nights, hope your warm!
killer job, the transition to the tv killed me
Fantastic! Wisching you all the best and leaving a comment for the RUclips algorithm
Rachel is adorable and brave!🤗
I just saw Revzilla's Anchorage to Prudhoe bay using small cc and could not believe that it's just a small distance compared to where you are now (Peru). Just amazing realization from someone not from USA.
woah what a cool guy, i wish he would have his own series. walking through the world:D
You guys are awesome 💯
I've literally watched all your videos completely out of order. I started in Central America, and now I'm here 🤣 only one to go... I appeared to have watched in a completely chaotic style, maybe its the only way to watch them?😉
