man, I love your videos, they are straight forward and informative its slowly helping me through my jump journey as well as lots of others, idk if it's possible but I think if you could one day post like a big jumping tutorial going through almost everything to do with jumping and how to jump higher, i think that would be cool and very useful! anyway keep up the good work everyone!
You should make a video about your mobility routine, if you have one. As a person with very stiff ankles, I could really use it! (I am strong enough to do a pistol squat but my ankles dont bend far enough)
list of exercises, sets and reps: warmup: - wallsits 4-5x45seconds - single leg calf raise hold 4-5x45seconds exercises: - Pistol squats 4x5-8 - Nordics 4x5-8 - Single Leg elevated glute bridge 4x8-10 - Single leg calf raise 4x8-10 alright there are all 4 exercises, stay consistent!
Hey Riq I’m 14 years old that is 5,4, 50kg and can just about dunk on an 8 foot rim. I’m a good shooter and ball handler and can pass pretty well but can not score on an elite level because of lack of athleticism and strength do you have a set workout plan to jump higher and get more athletic on text or paper since that is a lot easier to follow for me. I really hope you see this message and respond because you really are a true inspiration to me.
I have a few bodyweight plyo and strength workouts on my channel. If your main goal is just to get better at basketball, then athleticism shouldn't be your main priority. But of course being more athletic will help A LOT
hey, just wondering, I was going to pair this routine with this plyo video you made -> ruclips.net/video/vB92j10d7IA/видео.html&ab_channel=RiqB They are working really well, and I can already feel my legs getting less immobile and stronger but how often should I do each workout, I was thinking 1 day strength and 2 days plyo giving me 3-4 days' rest, but I wanted to get what you would think would work best. anyway, thanks for the engagement, it's amazing how you reply to every comment makes it really feel like you're helping us all throughout journeys 😃👍❤
will definetly implement some of them, what exercise would you recommend for train your tendon stiffness/ssc. I do max approach jumps and strength training but feel like I am laking a bit of explosiveness
@@RiqB I got a question and it would help heaps but how would u structure a week between plyos and strength training? Would it be like 2 days a week each or some other way?
Generally speaking, make sure youre eating at least 0.8g/kg of protein and limit the amount of saturated fat you consume. Most of diet is just chicken and rice, some times with some veggies
yo imma need that hair routine

Monday-plyo
Tuesday-bodyweight vert
Wednesday-plyo
Thursday-bodyweight vert
Friday-plyo
Saturday-rest
Sunday-rest
my routine is the same, but with isometrics before plyos, i´d love to see an answer from this man as well
please do a video on warmups before plyo and strength workouts🙏

I literally do almost the exact same workout but with dumbells for extra weight
You might need to go to the gym if it gets to easy

You can also do some loaded plyos. That'll train the SSC pretty well
okay thanks@@RiqB
Is doing 100 or more calf raises gonna help?
No
Gym plyo workout next?🔥
Got a few on my channel
Is it fine to pair these workouts with plyos and do them every day? Or should I split them up into separate days?
don't do it every day and you should split these days up
@@RiqB I got a question and it would help heaps but how would u structure a week between plyos and strength training? Would it be like 2 days a week each or some other way?
Can I do three times a week
I ❤ your head and your tips. 😁🥰🥰😚🤗
45 inch vert when?
Hopefully eventually. The injury early in the year slowed me down
@@RiqBif you were to predict how long 45 inch vert would take how long do u think it would br
@@cyber7273 I would say another year or more. A 45 inch vert is not as easily achievable as I thought
yo what you eating after workout and whats bad to eat to increase vertical

how much should i rest between exercises and sets?
Could you please tell me how thick the mats in the video are?
Is it okay to dunk after lifting?
❤
