I have been looking for a tutorial like this for years. I've been playing around with my own settings trying to do something similar and couldn't seem to get it right. You articulated your points very well, and this video was very informative. Thanks Vertic!
You're welcome and I'm glad you found my video! haha
@@VerticDesigns Yessir, thanks again man!
This tutorial has been useful to me countless times
Well explained and its good wow bud thank you
Amazing as always
Thank you 👍
I still use this in almost every one of my videos, thank you so much
That's really cool and it's all good :D
20 frames back, cut, crossfade the 2 clips then zoom in tutorial starts at 1:40
Thank you so much!!!! you really helped me
what i did to not forget it is i just used notepad and type every steps
you really helped me *A Lot*
hey, can you help me : i didnt find the pinch punch effect pleaseee 😫
Thanks dude ❤️
Good tutorial!
Amazing video keep it up
Thank you so much!
Np
Great video.
mmm more painful transitions that makes videos good lookin
Okay. I subscribed :D
Ily ❤️
Very well explained, and well made! thanks bud :D
Thanks aha and no worries
@@VerticDesigns Exactly what we new youtubers need!
Thank you ..I have just started using vegas...it's awesome to learn...interesting bruh
Welcome to sony vegas and yeh it's got some good features and it's easy to learn great way to start editing
@@VerticDesigns I just watched all of your vegas videos...please give more tutorials...you very well explained. Nice!
hello, i want to do that but i dont have the pinch/punch effect.. what i need to do ?
thanks man I learn a lot from ya 😁
That's great! I'm glad also no problem
your video did not help too much but it helped me figure it out on my own so i am gonna give it a like!
Awesome❤️
Ayyee thanks!
does it work for sony vegas 15?
arnd 3:50, once i dragged the first keyframe for the blur underneath the pinch keyframe, it never added another one for the beginning of the clip like yours., and the options for smooth fade and such are all greyed out, im unable to click on them.
did you ever figure out a solution?
@@kinkosfieldtrip i also want to know
Still working as of today, ty!
Np!
can i somehow do so i dont have to do this for every clip?
like make it easier
Is it anyway i can save preset with this. im trying but wont do the frames. I want to do this with many clips lik 20 clips a 4 min vid
How to zoom in only preview?
HOLY SHIT IT WORKS!!!
c'est quoi l'effet pinch/punch en francais?
when i hold the shift and drag the corners, it don't come down as expected. Only one corner is getting dragged. What to do ???? holding shift didn't work
Thanks, helped me a lot!
is there a way to save this process so that i don't have to do it again every time i use a new clip?
I was wondering the same thing. It’s very time consuming to sit through this video for EVERY CLIP. Great tutorial, but would love to know how to save it as like a preset
@@h20delorian you could copy the clip and then go to the next clip and click on paste event attributes
Just wondering if you did something that you didn't show at 4:00 I keep repeating the process but the first little diamond won't show up after moving the other diamond 3 frames, if not can you tell how it showed up to you
I just cut the silence at that part or me rambling on lol it was just manly the pinch/punch and radial blur keyframes moved. When you move the main one it will move the strength of it as well but I'll double check it and have a look at the project to make sure
Did you ever fix this problem? I'm having the same issue
aren't there templates available like for Premiere Pro?
Yeh there will be
Where can I get the sound effect that was in the beginning?
Search "Whoosh sound effect" on RUclips that's how I got it
what could i do if it doesnt alow me to set keyframes on fast?, the options are in grey
It should let you do it and is it just one or all of them?
This is really helpful but I still wish they would make an easier way to do all this.
I mean theres 3rd party plugins and transition pack with the preset saved
@@VerticDesigns can you please name the 3rd party plugin. Thank you!
When i am trying to go frames back it doesnt do it in big frames and match up with the lines, instead it just goes super tiny frames back so i cant do it
It might be because you're zoomed out in the timeline so just scroll up to zoom in and you'll notice the different
@@VerticDesigns i did but its still the same :(
What really happens is black fucking frame descends upon the zoomed area no matter what I do, as if the video being zoomed is cropped to something a lot less than there is.
1:06 when I right click, it just gives me the default context menu.
try to right click on the top right corner
lost it at radial blur
hey i wanna do the same thing but with a motionless image, can i still do it? or maybe can u link me a video tutorial for that plz? cuz i search but i didn't find too much
It will work the same with a still image
@@VerticDesigns oh thanks, and the parametrer are the same? (i mean the 20 frame ecc...)
@@zezza8106 depends on how long you want the zoom to be, if its long then go with 20 frames and above or 10 and below for short
@@VerticDesigns If I edit a RUclips video do you recommend better zooms?
@@ice_kubson8038 for a RUclips vid go with 20 and keeping editing it to make it as smooth as possible so it flows nicely to the next clip
Can this work with pictures?
well a picture is essentially a video when you put it in the timeline so yes
Good video but at the end of the effect it didn't last long enough so it kinda just jumped out at the end for me :(
You can always extend it if you want so it's longer, just go further out and move the keyframes out more
Nice but I can't change the fade for the radial blur, the button are grey so it's stuck to linear
Are you selecting your video?
@@VerticDesigns Well yes, exactly as you do in the video but it works without it anyway, thanks for your answer !
@@killianb8115 oh right aha ok
So complicated but thx :)
It will be at first but eventually it starts to make more sense afterwards the more times you try it aha and no problem
mine goes red
why me is croping
i cant explainnnnnnnnnnn
Idk intense fixed riadius
Kuku
Complicated
Holy shit this is so painful
It's a bit confusing but think of it as 2 ramps. One goes up so all effects increase and the other goes down all effects decrease
-aha-
He explains it too quickly. :/ I barely understood anything. (If I slow down the video, it will sound all robotic and weird.)
It's the only downside to keeping the videos as short as possible :/ maybe watching a few times it might make sense
@@VerticDesigns Okay! I'll see if I can figure it out.
@@Lyrimash if there's any questions or parts you need help with just let me know:)
this requires too much effort
not gonna happen
Fair enough, there's plugins out there if doing it manually isn't for you and you can just drag and drop them in
@@VerticDesigns can u pls give me link to plugin pls
@@madhavi5721 ruclips.net/video/jgumsc3B1I0/видео.html
nicely executed but not well explained
Yeh I can understand, the main focus was to just make it short and straight to the point otherwise I'd be talking for way too long about it haha but even if I explained it more it only really sinks in when you put it into practice and then it makes a lot more sense
@@VerticDesigns oh yeah I understand mate, cheers for u to come up with the idea and help sucha big part of people.. thank u so much
@@arsalord24 no worries, I appreciate the honest feedback and I hope you find a way that works best for you
doesn't work in 2023
