What a perfect tutorial - short, perfectly clear, and easy to follow along! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
*I'VE BEEN USING PREMIERE FOR YEARS I NEVER KNEW YOU COULD DRAG DOWN THE INTERPOLATION SECTION TO MAKE IT BIGGER THANK YOU!!!!!*
Glad I could help!
short, right to the point, and clear instructions. It helped me a lot! Thank you
Great to hear!
Why does premiere have to be so complex? I just want a drag and drop effect..
You only need to do it once, you can save it as a preset and then all you have to do is drag and drop it onto an adjustment layer if you want to use it again
Frrrrr… everything is so complex. A simple video that will be made in capcut in 2 hours, the premiere will make that into 5😭
Premiere is not that complex compared, say, after effects. Just the UI alone. Premiere gives you the tools to create that preset so YOU can customize anything😊
It's very simple. Just do what is best to you
Wow man I love you
i was almost tearing up the hear of my head trying this effect with several tutorials that wer using mirror and this one simply works.

So simple and much better than many other presets that you can buy. I just miss the "Zoom Out"
Thank you, do you mean I should do a separate zoom out transition tutorial?😁
@@SmertimbaGraphics I don´t know how to do it. I know it has to be with Mirror and something more.

You are welcome
that s fast and good
thanks
tysm for the tutorial man, only thing is in my videos the transition is too quick, so u dont even really see that its a transition. how can i fix this?
You can extend the transition by making adjustment layer longer and increase the distance between keyframes respectively
More videos please ❤❤❤
Will do❤️❤️
Great tutorial!
Thank you!
Wow
Newbie question here:
How do you increase the speed of the transition?
You can decrease the distance between keyframes, move them closer to each other
Love
عالی بود خیلی استفاده کردم ممنون
Welcome😊
Can I make this work on a 9:16 vertical video too? I followed the exact steps nothing happend to the video under the adjustment layer. Or could it have something to do with the videos already having effects on them? (I'm using horizontally shot footage to use in a vertical video for insta). Thank you!
It should apply the same way for vertical format videos, but you have to make the sequence vertical and adjustment layer the same size as the sequence. If videos already have effects applied then nest the clips and try adding transition then
Great tutorial, thanks! I only have one issue, the layer underneath the transition is an adjustment layer with lumetri applied to it. This transition creates a strange "posterized" effect to the frames of the transition. How to avoid premiere from doing that?
Not sure about that, have you tried nesting the clips with the adjustment layer that has lumetri applied to it, and then apply the zoom transition
Thanks!@@SmertimbaGraphics I've tried that too, same result... I think it's a Premiere Pro bug. It wasn't happening with previous versions.
so thank full. now can i save this as my own effect so i dont need to recreate it for a separate project?
Sure, you can either save it as a preset, or you can import this project with the transition into a different project and copy paste the transition adjustment layer
yo can i somehow make it even slower?
Yes, increase the distance between keyframes as well as adjustment layer length
I guess Premier must have made changes because this isn't working for me. When I go to scale between transitions, it doesn't scale. IDK
Make sure you are adjusting transform effect scale and not the scale under motion settings
Hey, for some reason my adjustment layer makes everything black whenever it's above something, and when I turn the opacity down to zero, the effect just doesnt work. any idea?
You sure it's an adjustment layer and not a solid or something else? I can't think of a reason why adjustment layer would make everything below it black
@@SmertimbaGraphics Thank you for your answer! I'm sure it's an adjustment layer, I've done it exactly how you have. maybe you could take a look at my effect control panel of this pic?
@@Paintwo Sure, send it to my instagram I'll have a look
Whenever I add transform effect to my adjustment layer everything turns black
once I've finished everything and put the layer, at the top on the yellow line of the timeline that part is red and the transition doesn't seem to go through. help ?
It needs to render for the animation to work smoothly, press enter it should render and the line will turn green
@@SmertimbaGraphics thank u man, you’re the best 🙏🏼🙏🏼
how to apply multiclip
create the transtion once, then duplicate and drag the adjustment layer to more cuts
Following this tutorial I unfortunately get black srroundings on the second clip at the end of the transition. This is due to background coming through since the scale mysteriusly moves below 100 at a certain frame. Anyone knows what I mean? How can I avoid this?
While adjusting the graph curve, make sure the blue handles are straight and not facing slightly down, that could cause the values to move below 100.
@@SmertimbaGraphics Thats it, thank you so much
but how you get the blur only touching the scale?
What do you mean by touching the scale?
Great
THIS DID NOT WORK FOR ME AT ALL LMFAO FOR SOME REASON IT DIDN'T DO ANYTHING AND I DID EVERYTHING EXACTLY AS EXPLAINED
FIGURED IT OUT, DON'T USE THE SCALE ON THE TOP PORTION USE THE SCALE WITHIN THE TRANSFORM SECTION ON THE EFFECTS PANNEL LMAO
thanks
Welcome
