+Barry__Allen_ from what I've read about these controllers from a gameinformer magazine issue a while back, it genuinely does make button presses faster. I imagine those split seconds matter to tournament players, but I know at least I can live with the extra split second it takes to move my thumb.

It's not about being lazy it's about being quick and being able to to look around and aim while also being able to press the face buttons at the same time. Is it for everyone? Seriously, what is the appeal in trickshotting? My issue is these snipers hop on team objective games and DON'T PLAY THE OBJECTIVE. If you were sniping people while I plant a bomb, that'd be great. It helps if you have carpal tunnel or arthritis (not impossible when your young). I have a few gaming products from different companies and yes you *can* game without them, but it works beautifully if you have issues with your joints.

it can be "useful" i guess because it allows you to press the face buttons(x,y,b,a) without taking your thumb off the right stick, allowing you to continuously aim and maybe press the buttons faster. That said, I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't seem like it really gives you a big enough advantage, especially for that price.

i do think that there is basic support for keyboard and mouse on the web App but no support for games which this addon aperently fixes, but from what i remember from the video was that it only works with certain games.

Alternative version that costs exactly zero bucks and looks badass:
1) Turn your controller around so the buttons face away from you, and shoulder buttons face upwards.
2) Place your thumbs on the shoulder buttons, your index and middle fingers on the upper controls and the remaining two fingers on the lower controls. Works best with PS-style controller (analogs at the bottom) and with smaller controllers, but huge xbone controller kinda works, too.
3) Fiddle with settings- most games have "invert controls" option in the menus.
4) Practice a bit. After a day it will feel strangely natural.
5) DESTROY EVERYTHING VIRTUAL.
6) Alternatively, switch to PC gaming. We have master race keyboards and mouses and are much cheaper in hindsight.

We have keyboards too, which carry another hefty price tag. Controllers are all-in-one where as you need a keyboard and mouse to move and aim. The additional utility of the two I think level out the cost though. (There are some pretty nice keyboard and mouse designs too, which in my opinion are better than those on controllers, for now at least, but that's just an opinion.)

I play claw and its so much easier, but like you briefly mentioned, it can be awkward to get "clutch" kills with this playing style however, I just find it easy to use my middle finger in tight situations
I also play cross over as well, thumb for a x y b and index finger for the right analog stick

Well some people prefer controllers over mouses most gaming mouses I've seen r 69.99 so a modded/reflex controller is cheaper and depending on the user "better" :)

Agree I am a massive Battlefield fan, but I recognize COD as being way more popular and successful despite being the inferior game. Hell Battlefield 1942 could never even compete in it's day before COD against Counter-Strike 1.6 level of popularity and success.
Actually the real reason cod is still more popular is because it is much easier to play than battlefield cod asks nothing of you when you are learning the game but battlefield asks you learn all the vehicles or at least know what they do battlefield asks you learn all the guns and attachments which actually affect game play unlike in cod where the best way to run any gun is make it like an assault rifle as much as possible and even there it doesn't affect gameplay that much. People don't want to have to lean things about the game to do good in it and that is why cod is more popular it can be your first time playing and you can and more often than not will do good.

It's literally not, though. All keyboards can achieve the same thing. Mechanical and analog keyboards offer different tactile response, but end up doing the same shit as a $10 POS bluetooth keyboard. Paying extra for a keyboard means you are paying for quality and response, whereas paying more for a controller means you're paying to be "better" at a game by having a competitive edge (if you could even call this monstrosity that) over anyone that doesn't have one. Spending loads on nice keyboards is preferential. Spending loads on souped-up controllers means you're too shit to realize there are cheaper, better ways to get good.
I dunno I'd disagree that a nice keyboard is preferential. For something like an RTS or a MOBA, I wouldn't be surprised if high skill players have them jam. I know I jam my non-mechanical keyboards frequently when I type.

Shit, I thought I was wasting my life, but this video reminded me people like this exist.
So about seven and a half minutes into the video, you show us the promised trickshots (I kinda wanted to see this, cus I'm not really into cod and wanted to know what this trickshot shit was) and it was you, doing 1 "trick" which looked (at least to my untrained eye) jumping off a balcony, spinning, and randomly shooting, until you hit the only other person on the map, who just happened to be standing there, still, not trying to shoot you at all, or even play the game, then promptly exiting the game, and repeating that one clip, over and over again. If this is all trickshotting amounts to, I'm happy you guys are getting ripped off, paying between 70-90 USD for a little cover with (what amounts to) sticks taped on it.
