I have to personally thank you because my daughter and I have been through a lot since Aug 30. I lost my job of 13 years with no reason, I lost my 21 year old daughter, cannot find a job right now, and then we get hit by a car. Our lives have been flipped upside down! We have been affected Physically , Emotionally and Mentally.. We found our Peace. In yarn.. I watched multiple videos and I could not figure out how to arm knit UNTIL I saw your video. When you slowed everything down I FINALLY got it!!!! I watched it over and over and I can happily tell you that I have made 2 scarves already and I am HOOKED!!!! You helped us find our PEACE and we THANK YOU!!!! Signed,,, Amy & Aliyah.. 2 New Fans

I gotta say that I watched 4 videos on arm knitting and I just couldn't get it in my brain how it worked. I was so frustrated and ready to give up and I happened upon this video. Thank God! Your instructions were sooo easy to follow and it made perfect sense! (I think that other people were just over complicating it). Anyhoo, after watching your video, I busted out 2 of these in less than 2 hours! I'm pretty sure that the next ones I make will take even LESS time! Thank you sooo much for keeping it simple!

Hi ! I looked at many arm knit videos, I have to say I was so impressed with your tutorial ! You are clear and precise, and I love the slow motion, detailed instructions. I am currently in recovery from a hip replacement and I am not a "still person" being winter on top of that, I have been going a little stir crazy. I decided that I wanted to try to do this cowl, I had some chunky yarn and thought I could make it work. I told a few of my friends and we decided to make it a party!! Some white chicken chili, mini ham sliders, a cheese board, and of course wine and chocolate. The four of us sat around the living room ( We have fire stick, so your video played on the big screen TV, which was GREAT!! ) We were able to pause, back up and move through the video as we needed to get each technique. We had such a great time and each of us created a unique and fun cowl. Three of us, casted on 12 stitches, one went with the six as in the video. I dropped a stitch and had to go back once, Carey had issues with a tangled yarn, and Robin who was our six stitcher, completely redid to make her stitches tighter, while we casted on our other six. In the end we all have something beautiful chocked full of great memories. Thank you for such a great video. We are planning to do this again in a few weeks to make a Valentines assortment of cowls!! Be Blessed!!

I would like to say thanks for creating a video where the view reflects the exact way that I have to hold my hands. I am a person who needs to hold a map upside down if I am traveling south. I may be in the minority but wanted to comment that your video will be helpful to others like me. I tried many other videos, at one point standing behind my laptop and looking over the top in an effort to position my hands correctly. Yours was the only one I was able to follow. I also appreciate the additional slow-motion views. I have completed my first cowl. It may not be gorgeous but it's very cozy to wear around the house on cold days. Hopefully I am on my way to creating some home-made gifts for the holidays.

In no time at all I was arm knitting, and actually understood right away all the steps. The other videos from different sites, Michaels included, were so confusing and frustrating. The all-time-best visual and verbal explanation I have seen and have been able to follow to a completed project. Thank you.
The camera angle was spot on. I needed to see the angle that you came at "V" in the yarn. The slingshot opening of the hands - perfect. Seeing the tail and working thread clearly separated on the screen was also very helpful. So yeah, thank you! =D Ohh! I also liked that you verbalized which loop (second **Squee**) went over your hand during cast on was very helpful too. Did I say thank you? Cause yeah.. thanks! =D

Living here in Colorado a scarf is definitely needed but she hates regular scarfs because how they feel on her neck but this cowl is so warm and soft she has no complaints. Next thing I'll be making is a skirt thanks to one of your other tutorials. I love skirts but being a plus size woman I find it hard to find cute ones or ones that fit me since I'm very short but now I won't have that problem I'll just make my own! Thanks a bunch!!

You do an excellent job teaching the craft of arm knitting so that I could easily understand it. I watched it a few times...I tried it with thin yarn just to see if I could do it and it was too difficult because the knots were to hard to work with...I purchased the yarn you suggested and off I went...Initially, when I came back a different teacher came on and I thought I would give it a try.....not a wise decision.....After watching a few times...I knew I had to find your video if I was going to actually learn how to arm knit correctly. Thank you so much..I already made one and I am going to do another one with the remaining yarn. You have a calming voice and very easy to understand directions

I am not crafty at all! But wanted to make a gift. I have to say I say another video started and after the first stitch I wanted to give up. I could not get my fingers to make a loop. I came across this video. And.... I MADE MY FIRST SCARF! Yes I'm super excited within 45 minutes. I got a little hung up at the end. But it's all good. Practice makes perfect. I want to make a 2 color one next. I'm hooked. Thanks so much for this great video.

I definitely enjoyed your tutorial. All winter long I wanted to learn how to make this. No matter what tutorial I watched I just didn't grasp how to do it. So I would loose my courage, You have inspired me and I will be looking forward to trying this week. I will let you know. Ty once again for the great tutorial.

When she says it's the best tutorial, it really is! I am a beginner and this was easy!! Well, for the end when she binded it off, I just did it my own crazy way👀. But it was fantastic! I had really thin yarn, but I just made it long enough to rap around three times and it still looks thick and chunky! I love this!

This tutorial is actually helpful! The other arm knitting tutorials I've seen don't make much sense, but this is amazing! A lot of my friends don't even know what arm knitting is, so it's fun just giving them a random scarf that they don't even know how to make ! 👍🏻 you rock!

Thanks a lot for your video. I watched one before yours and I was super confused on how to do the initial casting on. You explained the process way more clearly and I now have an understanding. I can't wait to make a chunky scarf like the first one you had on in the beginning of the video. Thanks again!

Hi Vanessa! I just wanted to say THANKS for the super easy to follow video. I watched 2 girls try to explain it before finding your video and their angles and speed made it hard to follow. I love this pattern and was able to make my scarf really quickly! Can't wait to give these as gifts for Christmas! Thanks again.
