I watched the live earlier as always Debbie. They are great fun. Now watching this. You are a diamond. I can’t tell you how invaluable your tutorials are and have been over the years. Thank you 🙏 This is a nice easy but beautiful project. See you on Saturday 🌸
I'm very new to stitching & not very confident. You have given me the confidence to give this a go. I've already placed my order for the fabric, really looking forward to giving this a try. I suffer with arthritis in my neck, this will be perfect for keeping my neck warm without having to wear a big heavy scarf! Thank you for being such a patient teacher x
Thank you for sharing;) I made several in faux fur (short pile) but they were 36" long so they only go around your neck like a necklace. A nice tip I have used in cutting slick fabs is to pin a double row (parallel) of pins and as I sew I remove the close pins and leave the second row to support the fab. PS I have watched your wonderful video's for years LOVE THEM:)
Thank you very much for this, I have just made my scarf ~ I had already bought the fabric and wasn't sure how I would make it. I have used a stretchy slighty shiny fabric and it has worked out beautifully. I am not very good at sewing so I am delighted ~ your tutorial is brilliant.
I made a few of these as a gift for my mum's birthday and they turned out to be a huge hit - my grandmother asked me to make her some too! I'm still something of a beginner, so I found it useful to use the selvage to help line up the initial tube and make sure everything was square. I ended up sewing most of the way with the selvage intact (but inside the seam allowance) and cut it off just before I turned it through.
Thanks Debbie another great tutorial will be making this for birthday gift. have to look in my stash you've sold out of the fabric l like. Thank you so much for your patience love all your videos. Best wishes for a great 2022 to you and your family
I made something very similar out of polar fleece several years ago...never thought about twisting it more than once time!! I made mine out of two colors of fleece.....
Debbie, you are a peach!! Thank you very much sweety, I know your very busy and making sure to get this done for us.. ..over the top❣ Your absolutely the best. Happy New Year with love and Bless'ns
Love, love this and all your tutorials! Can this be made with a lightweight knit? I'm going to make some knit headbands and I would like to have matching scarves. Yours is my favorite tutorial. I realize it would not have the same drape, but do you think it would work? Thanks for sharing all this great content!
Very, very, very beginner question here :) Can you put it in the washing machine afterwards? Or is it best to just hand wash and hang to dry? (I've been told before that when sewing clothes we need to pre-wash the fabric before sewing, but when I tried that, it ruined the fabric as the sides frayed like crazy.)
Could I try this scarf with 'IANTHE' Liberty Tana Lawn cotton fabric? I have 1M in my stash and think this might be a great way to use it up. What do you think Debbie? Many thanks for your wonderful vids, you are an inspiration.
I watched this live but realise now that the fabric appears green on one camera then the overhead shows it as blue. Which colour was the fabric really?
Clear instructions and bright enough fabric to demonstrate the instructions.

I did several scarves with this method when infinity scarves were so popular. It’s a terrific technique.
That is absolutely beautiful and fun to make.. I cannot wait to make it.

Great video! I like the multiple twist idea. Question: Did your scarf end up being 6 twists?
Hi Debbie
The scarf is fabulous I’m going to make one
Could you please tell me the approx width and length please of the fabric ? X
150cm X 50 cm
Love this fabulous xxx
Thank you Debbie xx
Muy bonito, gracias por compartir la forma de hacerlo.🤗😘

I think that would work well!

Very well explained
I am new to sewing, how do you keep the fabric from getting sucked into the machine?
Love the scarf. I'm really looking forward to making one of these. P.S. do you have a tutorial on how to make the sewing machine mat you are using?
That’s on my channel.. glad you like it!
Another great tutorial. Could you use stretch fabric?
As long as it has a good drape…
Wonderful
Wouldn't you advise a size 11 needle on a fine fabric like that?
Thank you 😊😊😊🇺🇸
Nice sharing dear
Would his work with jersey?
Could I try this scarf with 'IANTHE' Liberty Tana Lawn cotton fabric? I have 1M in my stash and think this might be a great way to use it up. What do you think Debbie? Many thanks for your wonderful vids, you are an inspiration.
I’m not familiar with that fabric but it sounds good…
I watched this live but realise now that the fabric appears green on one camera then the overhead shows it as blue. Which colour was the fabric really?
It’s a cross, a little turquoise..
Can you use just normal fabric like cotton/polyester?
Cotton lawn, polyester or viscose work well as they drape. I’m not sure what you mean by ‘normal’ fabric, these are all quite normal…
Is it cut with of fabric, a 60” wide fabric???
That’s right!
Would rayon batik work?
It certainly would!
@@debbieshore thanks
Приветик! супер,спасибо 👍👍👍❤🎄🎁
Is it cut width of fabric.
Yes
