you are wrong, boston copied unitree. original boston was hydraulic actuated. unitree was first in the world to present a electric motored robot dog, a year ahead of boston in regard.
High powered accurate controllable motor is also a chinese invention. Boston uses the same kinds of motors created by China from China, because only with such motor, that electric motor was able to beat hydraulic mechanism in weight load, more than 80kg in load is no small significance.
The control algorithm is way more advanced than boston. Many core motion actions you listed in video is something boston could not achieve even today, and boston dog was beaten by unitree in Japanese competition this year ( mindefully missed by many commentators of the competition ).
