I hope people realize how impressive 15 hours is because WOW!! I have only completed two queen sized blankets so far and each took me two months, working on them at least 1-2 hours each day.
That’s amazing how you’ve completed two Queen sized blankets 😍🙌🏻 They take sooo much time! Yeah, this one works up relatively quickly since it’s bulky level 5 yarn and an 8 mm hook!
Just how ??? Can you tell us how Pls make video explaining to us hoooow did you made the cute flower Your new arabic follower 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ You are creative ❤❤
@@louisacapell The bigger yarn doesn’t make it take less time, it just makes the final square larger. It’s still the same process of making a daisy granny square, still the same amount of stitches and rows and color changes. Infact, it might even take a little longer because you’re working with larger yarn and have to use larger wrist and hand motions. If you were to make the same sized blanket in regular granny squares, it would take longer, but that’s due to it needing more squares.
Doing the first two rounds of the magic circle takes me 15 minutes what the heck?!?! That’s amazing! Edit : it takes me 3 minutes now……. WHAT THE HECK!!!
@@AllAboutAmiBlogI’ve been making granny squares to turn into coin purses and I’ve slowly been getting faster at making them. Used to take me two hours to make one granny square when I started, now it takes me 30 minutes- an hour depending on complexity
Thanks so much! I’m glad you like the colors! Yeah you can try breaking up the task so you’re not doing it all at once - it can get tiring. Segmenting it and doing chunks can make it easier and less overwhelming!
I love doing projects in squares since I can break it up and it doesn’t seem as daunting in the moment (only downside is putting the squares together 🫣)
I'm new to crocheting.... Seeing the finished pieces(?) that people made really impressed me... Always ❤ I hope I won't ever be discouraged with the learning process.
This is by far the most beautiful crochet work of art I've ever seen! I'm going find your tutorial right now and hope those yarns are available in my area. This masterpiece is absolutely stunning! 🧡 ~Peace &Love ☮️ 💜 ☯️ From, New Orleans 🐊 🎷 🎼 🎺
Just finished my last Daisy square! It’s my very first big crochet project besides a water bottle holder, so I am proud to have all the squares done. I’m glad I weaved in the ends as I went for 33 of them, but I got carried away at the end and now I have to weave in 9 and then start seaming! So close but so far
I’m using this as my first big crochet project (I’ve don’t plenty of smaller things, though). And it’s definitely taking me over 15 hours hahah! I mean I am doing it as a 9x8 square blanket so it’s a lot bigger but still, you’re so fast! I did the 72 inside yellow parts in about 10 hours and now I’m doing the petals, each one takes me about 10 min. The border parts take me even longer.
That’s wonderful how this is your first big crochet project, Emily! Wow, good for you for aiming for 72 squares! Sounds like you’re well on your way - enjoy crocheting the rest of your blanket!
Thanks for your kind words! That was a steamer that I used to steam block my granny squares! It gives a beautiful finishing touch as it smoothes out the stitches and relaxes the fibers.
@@AllAboutAmiBlog I've not crocheted in a couple of years now due to so many lost loved ones. This blanket makes me want to go to the local yarn shop (I'm in Scotland) 🥰
I’m currently making a crop top, and every row takes 10 minutes for me to complete, there’s going to be 70-100 rows so it’ll take me around 700-1000 minutes, which is around 15 hours. IT TAKES ME AS LONG TO MAKE ONE CROP TOP AS FOR YOU TO MAKE A HUGE BLANKET- 😭 Edit: I’m done with it, but as I learnt the stitches, in the end each row only took me 4 minutes to complete (:
That’s awesome how you got so much faster at completing each row once you memorized the stitches! Yeah, different projects take varying amounts of time depending on the complexity, thickness of the yarn, size of the hook, etc. I love working with bulky yarn since projects work up so quickly!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog thank YOU for taking the time to explain and display your art to inspire us. This is more than a project video, this even helped us to be excited about something and spark joy to overcome a depression and create a piece that may transcend us for generations.💙🌹☺

That is so special & meaningful how you want to make this blanket as a Christmas present for your Grandma! However, some people have been successful in making this blanket as their first ever crochet pattern!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog I have one last question, do you think yellow for the petals and brown for the middle to resemble sunflowers would look good? I’m thinking about doing a green base for the blanket. Thank you ♥️
This is beautiful! You have some serious skills ❤ the only things I have made are beanies and scarfs. I love to crochet and a girl I used to work with was going to teach me then she moved and got me a detailed book. Sometimes I go on you tube to learn. This is gorgeous
