I found this similarly frustrating. I've taken it apart and re-done it at least 6 times. I see improvement, but I still haven't gotten it right. It would have helped if she'd moved her fingers out of the way so I could see where the stitches were. I stopped and started this video so many times...

OMG, finally after several trials and actually paying attention to reading the instructions, numbers of chains in between I got the correct results, a perfect square with a perfect round center. Thank you so much for sharing, I love the results!

Even if it's a little bit tricly to follow at some points, i really love this pattern. I want to crochet a tote bag but all other daisy square patterns have such big holes.

I find it better by changing the five stitches by a magic circle if you don't want a gap in the center

@@anetterogers2219 mine does so too but it flattens when you crochet on. If not, there are videos on how to flatten your granny squares

this was the easiet tutorial i’ve seen honestly. the talking always confused me and it’s not at all hard to see what you’re doing. maybe more written out detailed instructions on the screen but after watching this i was actually able to do my granny square after watching 4 other people’s videos
