I carry the tp4, but not fully loaded. I need the 2 wide pockets for my strippers and flush cuts. Same like you, keep all my tools in the ridgid box and just pull the tools i need, but have room in the pockets/ the built in belt clip keeps the pouch too high.
Yes, I think I just got a little to excited and fully loaded mine. So, I just decided to try this TP3B model and see what this bag had to offer, which so far I'm very happy with, hopefully within a few months I'm not going back to my TP4 as well, because those 2 pockets you're talking about are very handy.
