This was a really crappy jazz solo that was labeled as "contemporary", with terrible choreography, yet Chloe went out there and killed it. Christi once said a dance is only as good as it's choreography, and if it's not good then it places low. But chloe placed in the top 5 with this dance, which I find very impressive.

And in one of the season 8 episodes Abby said that she never wanted Chloe to win
She did it with a injured 🤕 foot 🦶 a Buckle fracture
No he foot was injured that week before Abby probably made the choreography a little iffy cause she was scared Chloe would break something and Abby doesn’t hate Chloe she hates her dad and her mom she even said if Christi didn’t come the the studio Chloe would be a much better dancer

I will only say this once but whenever I watched chloe danced their was always something that I felt more than maddie dancing. Whenever Chloe danced you could feel and see her emotions in her dancing.
True there both great dancer but the emotion is something you can’t see in Maddie chole has the confidence just too say it doesn’t matter if l an of not but maddie says either l win of Disappoint ms abby and that’s not what they came for they came too be better dancer but in chole mindset is that maddie better so both of them are great dancer but are better at a style then the other but abby didn’t show them that and nether did the mums

Emotions the way the dance is vastly different I’m guessing that Maddie typically has exaggerated expressions with her moving between different movements are quick while Chloe emotions are more subtle and you get an express through her fluid movement between different moves. Imo it kind of feels like Maddie always trying to get to the next step while Chloe flows there and ends at the same time
Not rly Chloe was good js cuz like most of time she’s focused on the dance you forget to make faces but Maddie didn’t💕

Chloe was AMAZING. But the choreography... I mean- she could've pulled it off in Season 1. The fact that she got fifth with this is very impressive :)
She’d have won the whole thing if she had choreo like dream on a star or silence. They were both beautifully choreographed and both had blue costumes and won. This solo had potential, but wasn’t enough to win clearly otherwise she’d have won.
Chloe is such an amazing dancer it’s just sad that this is the kind of dance she got though!!!

There were moments in the choreography when it made her look like she forgot & was trying to improvise, it was probably one of the worst choreographed dances from the ALDC solos

Chloe dances like it's such a natural thing for her.
This choreo was horrible, every movement was rushed and it wasn't cause she was rushing it, but becuase they crammed a bunch of pointless moves back to back to back. This isn't even her style. They wrong for this whole dance.

@@A.C58what? They don’t always do that with Maddie just like they didn’t always do it with Chloe. You could tell when a dance was thrown together and wasn’t thought about opposed to when a dancer was rushing throughout the movements. Maddie got some great choreography throughout her time on dance moms, she had beautiful choreography throughout the show and honestly it was obvious that she did. Plus, people only talk about her rushing dances, WHEN SHE RUSHES THEM, especially with her turns which are known to be magnificent while also being known to have some choppy moments. In this dance, it was very obvious that the choreography just wasn’t for her and it wasn’t for anyone, it was very thrown together, crappy, and it didn’t help that she had a broken foot.
@@crterjd8154for 1 she didn't have a broken foot for 2 yes people ALWAYS blame maddie for her dances being rushed and that's because they're so packed with moves sure there are a few times where maddie is just rushing but alot of the time it's because there's too many tricks or turns
And just like maddie chloes turns are also known for being great but she had choppy turns just as much as maddie did
Her moves are very smooth and precise. Wow.
This solo is so underrated it’s prob one of my favs.
Placing fifth proves that Chloe is amazing and professional dancer and I know she is 😘❤️💯💖

I'm probably the only one who thought this solo was really phenomenal. Chloe danced beautifully, her costumes gorgeous, she had stellar energy and she had great emotions
This choreography was horrible but Chloe was stunning in that costume,in the emotion and technique,and she still placed 5th for a poor dance 👏

Its honestly emotional withe music and chloes emotion in this dance considering how much abby broke her down and how it was her last solo. She was leaving the negativity of the aldc behind and soaring over to bigger and better things:)
This should have placed at least 2nd or 3rd not 5th! She was amazing!
Elmax is iconic the choreo was kinda crappy
There was like quite a few mistakes.
I strongly believe she could have been 3rd or higher with the choreo, just her foot was really low on her turns, and her jump after the 1st turn was bad as she bended her leg. Her second leap/jump was low, she could go higher.(this could be the effect of the pressure) Her leg when she raised it up was quite low too.
normal people yeah I agree there’s are some mistakes but I think Choreography really bring this down a peg it makes it harder to display more aspects of her talent. Also this could be why her mom was frustrated at her before nationals in Rehearsal because she just told a cameras Yeah she doesn’t want it meaning in her eyes she’s not trying hard enough to fix simple mistakes u mention earlier plus the pressure also didn’t help
I mean if her foot wasn’t broken, I’m fully sure that she would’ve placed in the top 3. But, if her foot was still broken and she still got better choreography that was fit for nationals then she would’ve ended up in the top 3, no doubt. The choreography was very choppy and crappy, it was thrown together so much that Chloe looked like she was improving. Now, we all know Chloe can improv so I’m sure that if she ended up improving instead of doing this choreography, she most likely would’ve ended up with a higher placement anyway.
Super watered down choreography and so rushed that she couldn't commit to each move properly because there was so much to fit in, a lot of repeated stuff and just not at the level Chloe was at. Kendall's jazz solo was more complex and that's saying something

I love the costume and music and from someone who did dance for more than half their life, this choreography is probably only a little better than tongue twister.
It's impressive how Chloe came in fifth, beating Kambryn and Kendall for her technique with her solo, which wasn't the best but she made it her own.
Just imagine how the team would’ve been if Chloe never left this episode.

Her technique and emotional execution were great and the costume would have scored some points but the choreography was bad and the solo was long. I think this was nationals too so that's why she got 5th, but I am not sure, I haven't seen this episode. Chloe was purposely excluded in season 4 so Abby just wanted to embarrass her.

When Chloe was upset with her choreography I don’t blame her! This choreography was horrible and sucked but she still went out and killed it and got 5th place with it! The hatred that Abby has on a 13 year old is insane and horrible.

Chloe is like the best dancer on that team! She has the technique, she has the emotion! Maddie might have emotion, but doesn't have good technique, Kalani (who wasn't here in this episode), has technique, but not emotion. Chloe has both! Abby is just jealous that Chloe is a better dancer than Maddie. She probably has more awards that Maddie. That is why Abby is being mean to Maddie in season 5 and 6, Maddie lost to Chloe at the Teen Choice Awards and lost to Ava at Nationals! Chloe is a way better dancer!
and then there is brynn who has not only technique and emotion, but also flexibility. SHE is the best dancer. i like chloe but she's no comparison to brynn, maddie or kalani
brynny slats brynn didn’t have the best emotion if we are being honest that’s why they covered her face up so much and Chloe’s technique was better than Maddie’s her performance just wasn’t as good and Maddie and Kalani have/had good flexibility

Personally, it reminds me a lot of Maddie’s choreography. Leaps, turns, leg extension, and some filler emotional moves. The choreography actually reminds me of a mix of Kendall’s jazz choreography and Maddie’s lyrical. I really like it.
I thought it was competitive. Honestly, this choreography was actually better than a lot of Maddie’s choreographies 😂

This is just a jazz song, jazz dance with the name Soaring when you can’t see her soaring, because she wasn’t given a dance where she could actually be soaring like this was just horrible choreography, but with what Chloe got she was amazing and that’s what’s impressive about her. Every time I watch this solo I get sad that this was Chloe’s last solo with the Aldc and all because Abby didn’t treat her well at all the whole time she was there! I mean she kept breaking her down, excluding her every episode and all the show was doing was ruining Chloe’s self esteem so if you think about it it’s probably a good thing that she left and she is doing much better in life now, but it’s all just really a sad story. 😔

And I also thought that at the end of 2014 Chloe would come back again, but with everything that happened it was better than not, so much trauma and drama on the show, Abby was scared and envious because Chloe is so much better than Maddie, only they made her look bad on the show and left her aside (as well as the others)
In this solo she caused me something so special, something that I had never felt, she literally did a great job, she and the other girls formed something beautiful from my childhood, I miss those times Viejos y queridos TIEMPOS 🧡
Yeah, no. She didn’t win at all. Chloe definitely danced from the heart, she did amazing with what she was given, but what she was given wasn’t enough. This choreography wasn’t advanced enough or even well correlated for a national’s title. For her to get top 5 in her division was amazing and shows that even with a broken foot and crappy choreography, Chloe can still rise to the challenge. This choreography made Chloe look like she was just making up stuff on stage, so much that even the editing made it look like she was, so Soaring had a meaningful message but it definitely could’ve been better with choreography

I watched kendell’s solo first, then camryn’s, the Chloe’s… the reaction from Abby after Kendell and camryn danced compared to Chloe was drastic!! She looked disappointed that Chloe did so well while Christi was crying “proud of my daughter” tears. That’s really sad and truly reflects the depths of Abby’s spite, ego, and narcissism. Literally cut off her nose to spite her face
