❤ little suggestion, when you read the Word in the morning 🌄, read it out loud, so your children can hear it. Faith comes my hearing... .one day they will perfectly understand ❤
I am a sahm for almost 20 years now. I homeschool, run a small farm, cultivate a huge garden & raise/preserve a year's worth of food, for our family of 4, yearly. I teach others all the skills that I have attained. I sew, knit, crochet, spin wool, tan hides, make baskets, make soap, make all my own cleaning products, maple syrup, apple cider, dairy products, vinegars, sausage, mill my own grain, bake my own bread, read & pray regularly, etc...I have babysat while doing all of this, I have volunteered at nursing homes, I volunteer for my church, I volunteer at a food bank. I get asked all the time how I have so much time - I don't squander it! That is all there is to it. I get up & get busy. I try to plan/organize my time. I live by a rhythm of the seasons & have a routine to my days. I never waste time on instagram or facebook. I don't waste time talking on the phone. I am more likely to arrange my work/schedule to fit in visiting in person (way better than the phone LOL). I don't waste time with people who wish to do me harm or hinder my goals - even those that I love. I try to be efficient in ALL that I do. And at the end of the day, I let a lot of stuff go. I told a younger sahm that I am friends with - "no one has ever loved me MORE for having a perfectly clean house. As a matter of fact, I become quite unlovable & my family suffers if that is what I try to achieve. Tempers flare, kids are restricted from learning tasks, people can't relax or play, creativity is stifled (every hobby we have makes a huge mess), friends get jealous, MIL's are never satisfied anyways. I go for presentable. Just presentable." I only watch stuff like this during my afternoon cup of coffee & knitting while I re coop in order to start dinner. Idle hands do the devil's work. In all that I do, I do it for the Glory of God!
Wow! You go! This is very inspiring, and I wish you could teach me all your gardening and preserving wisdom. The large garden to feed my family is a huge goal of mine. And yes! Do it all to the glory of God. Amen!
@@praireoak TYSM!!!! I wish we could be too! I love having friends be interested in what I do & seeing what awesome things they busy themselves with. My favorite experiences with friends are when they randomly pop in while I am doing this stuff & I have them just hop on board. I told my daughters that finally I am taking over the world; I help one friend homeschool & inspired her to do sourdough & jam, another friend I taught how to make soap, diy cleaning supplies, how to quilt, & make pickles & jelly, another friend to make bread, pies, homeschool activities, sew non disposable things & cleaning supplies & how to grocery shop economically (& NOW she is a sahm!!!!). I went for years where NO ONE wanted to know how to do any of this stuff & I was looked at like a quack. But I think the tide is turning with the under 30 crowd. I waited around long enough & I finally became 'cool' & 'trendy'🤣 This cracks my hubby up. I was a total dork in school LOL
Can we be friends😭 I am a 23 woman of God who has the desire to learn; knitting, sewing, gardening, investing and pottery and all the things beautiful women of God does when it comes to being a SAHM. I wasn’t taught these but I desire to learn them and grow in them to become a godly wife and mom to my future family 😊. I would love to learn these stuff from you and other godly sahm. Along with some advices/wisdom🥺. I’ve been being lazy but I’m in a season of preparation and I want to start being productive and no longer a procrastinator 🙁 but don’t have any motivation to do so but I’m allowing myself that because I want the best for my future family I will push myself to be productive but I don’t want it to feel like a burden but more of like something I desire and have fun with doing 😊. So I start watching videos likes these and other kinds of vids. I’ve been on social media and it takes toooooo much of my time and by the time I look, it’s now time to watch 1 teaching and boom bed time. So I wanna start using my time better however when I create a time schedule to be productive I still ended up not fulfilling them🥶 and I wanna become serious about this; I desire to be a homemaker/sahm😇. So I want to start doing so now by God’s grace I will be and be doing my best all for His glory🥰
@@AngelicaHutchinson1 you don't need a 'time schedule' honey. You just need a routine - a rhythm. and give yourself a time limit with the videos or use them as a goal....for me, I stay off of yt until I have completed certain parts of my day or certain tasks. & I break my day up into morning stuff & afternoon stuff. I take a 1/2 hour to 1 hour break between the 2 & that is when I sit down to watch videos IF I have completed the goals I set. or I read or sit outside. I was not taught a single one these things & I was RAISED by a sahm. But one who was too irritable & unhappy about her 'lot in life' so she did all she could to leave us girls unprepared to manage a home. I think she thought that we would be spurred on the 'greater' things & would not live the life she had. I figured all of this stuff out, one task/interest, at a time. My sisters? they have not. Have a 41 year old sister who still does not know how to wash clothes (always shacked up with a man who was a housemaid for her). Kelsey has a great tip that has been helping ME greatly. a "Best thing to do today" list. I put one thing on it a day & even if I don't get any thing else done, I feel accomplished if I can tick that off. Plus it spurs me on to do more & more. Reach out to someone in your vicinity that seems to enjoy this kind of life & just simply humble yourself & ask for help. You'd be surprised at what can happen LOL. I have a new (younger) neighbor who asked me for help & now she was able to quit her job, be home with her kids, is cooking, baking, learning to sew & has her very first garden going. My husband & I have been happy to lend her & her husband tools, time, knowledge & in the process we have become really great friends!
So I am a mother of 2, I have a nanny who is doing her best but I constantly feel guilty that I expect her to mother my kids. I am about to fire her, and I am going through some trauma (my mother is dying), still dealing with the loss of my sister (it's been 2 years but still feels like yesterday). I just stumbled on your vlogs while failing to wake up from bed. I have all these tasks I would love to do on a daily base to my sake, for my kids sake and that of my husband. But for the past few months, I lay numb, unmotivated, tired and way overwhelmed. Thanks to the scriptures shared, you just shifted something within me. Your a blessing... I cried through out the whole video... You just spoke to me and made me remember who I was before all this trauma. Love from Malawi
I will be praying for you. ❤️ You are going through a hard time right now, and that's okay. Strength can't come from us, we have to get it from God. Continue to lean on God. You got this! Take it one step at a time, and allow God to move you and work through you.
When you are grieving, you need extra help. It's ok to have the nanny for awhile! Please, take the time you need to heal emotionally. I lost everyone in my immediate family and have lost almost every single person in my extended family. Please, give some care to yourself also.
I'm not a mother, a homemaker, or a wife, and there is little chance I will ever be, but the passion in your voice at the end of this video is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your joy and your conviction
You still have yourself to care for, and although it doesn't sound super glorious, you make a difference for others and have an opportunity to serve those around you. You are definitely still a homemaker for your situation and season. Caring for yourself can help you to care for others 😊
I am the same!! I am almost 36 years old and have been dating the same guy for nearly 4 years with no intention of marriage per my boyfriend whenever I ask.
I totally agree with idleness, however I also think rest is important. We recently started a sabbath which is lovely. And it has allowed me to rest in him, and learn that I was doing a lot of my homemaking in my own strength not his.
Shout out to all the traditional home makers. They say your home your kids and your husband are bit better when the wife is home. I mean it makes sense if you choose to do that. I mean women create, makes sense that they can be the ones to keep a happy well rounded family.
Folding 9 garbage bags full of laundry while watching your videos. You are helping me so much! Raised Catholic, I’m finding more & more solace and encouragement from my bible. ❤️
Actually, there’s quite a few homemakers (me included) that spin wool (not as much flax) and weave. Attending a sheep and wool festival and seeing the joy on the faces of the women carrying off their (sought after) bags of raw wool, warms the heart.🙂. Enjoyed this so much, thank you.
That's amazing! 🥰 You have a special trade that I hope many seek after, and you are able to teach! I have never heard of a sheep wool festival. What great joy I'm sure it is for those receiving the wool as much as for you 🥰 I'm glad you shared!
I watch a lot of you new young Christian moms. Quite frankly, I am ENCOURAGED. I never thought I would be. I’m 63. 5 kids 8 grandkids 42 years married. This is not a journey for whims if I may. It takes a daily recommitment to Christ, your husband ,then your children. Take it slow. God does like to really refine us at times. When you have no idea how to handle a situation is when He Loves to Show Himself. 💚💜💙. Thank YOU for keeping the candle burning. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️✝️🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
You're inspiring 💕I'm impressed! You're so young to have such a beautiful Christian mindset! Thank you for your bravery to share your thoughts and your life, in a world that often isn't understanding, respectful or appreciative of ones like them/ like it 💗🙏🏻
Just finished Bible in a Year this morning! Then came across your channel. ❤ “I’m praying for you. Please pray for me.” It’s crazy because now I see a face of someone in the community I’ve been praying with and for in this past year.
Wow! What beautiful insight! I love Bible in A Year! I'm so excited for you that you finished, good for you! Yes! I haven't met anyone else I was "praying with".
I love Bible in a Year. I'm on day 156 and I just started The Catechism in a Year. I love Father Mike, the Latin Mass and being a wife and mom. I've home schooled my kids, who are all grown now. But love making my own soap , bread and tending my homestead. God is good!
@@praynxs9249 I’ve started Catechism in a Year as well and I started Bible in a Year again this year but slowly with my daughter. I can’t get to Latin Mass but it is beautiful. I have two autistic little guys I homeschool and our parish has a cry room. The smaller space helps with their sensory overload. Between my preteen girl and 21 year old adult who lives states away… I worry more about my older two than my younger two. lol I’m just trying to trust God’s plan for me daily and pray. 🙏🏼🥰 I was in the military for 15 years and I’m just so thankful to be home with my kids now.
@@lisafraley8380 sounds like you’re doing an awesome job. I homeschooled all my kids, ages now from 37-21. So I’m an almost empty nester. We do have to travel a ways for the TLM, but it’s worth it and I also don’t have any ties at this time like you do. Thank you for your service in the military! Thank God for Father Mike! I love Bible in a Year.
This has been so refreshing, it is the most beautiful thing for a mom to be home with her children and nourish them and nurture them as the way God‘s plan intended. Yes it is a daunting task at times, I think it’s much more difficult than having a job outside of the home, but anything that is difficult usually bears the most fruit. God bless you for what you do, I’m so excited that you are stay at home, mom, I’m a Catholic wish I was a stay at home mom back in the day, I always wanted that, but felt I needed to work outside the home, I’m not sure I was disciplined enough to be a stay at home mom but I do enjoy watching and learning from you. Beautiful young moms. God bless you.
This is very beautiful. You said it so nicely! I love how you said anything that is difficult usually bears the most fruit. What a good reminder to me in this stage I'm in. Thank you for your kind words. God used you where He needed you then. ❤️
Thank you very much for your teaching. You really steward the Lord's presence well because I can hear the joy and love you have for others in these videos .
This was beautiful. I work full time in service to others in a very rewarding job that lets me work from home and help with my kids. My husband is a stay at home dad who keeps the train moving 24/7. We’re a mighty team with care for others at our hearts. Idleness doesn’t happen frequently in our house or lives. I loved listened to the scripture you shared as reminders to keep up the momentum and pray for strength. I usually pray but I do complain too much from fatigue. They are grounding and will help. Beautiful
Thank you for this. I’m crying getting ready for church having my eyes opened by what you shared about our labor not being in vain. I’ve read that verse many times but finally the veil is lifted. God forgive me for saying “why bother” when serving my family is not met with gratitude and praise. I am humbled. God remind me that it is unto You I serve when I’m tired.
I don’t have any memories of my mother ever letting me actually use her sewing machine, but she sewed all the time and knitted and crocheted, and was always using her downtime to create some thing from fabric. She made my clothes she made me a quilt right into her dying day she made me socks. I’ve always had things to wear that my mother made. But I don’t have any memories of much more than her, teaching me how to knit, and I was an adult at that point. But everything I have tried to do from sewing crochet all of it. It comes so easy to me, and it’s like I can see my mothers hands because wherever she was, I was, and I saw what she did, and the same thing goes in the kitchen. She was a very good cook, and she made everything from scratch and had a garden and even though I don’t have memories of being a big part of those things I just remember playing but I also remember watching her and learning just from what she was doing. My mother and I were never close, so maybe that’s why I don’t have memories of things like that but my point is that, now I am a retired midwife, and I’ve had to learn a lot about children not only my own, but also the ones I’ve been a part of their arriving to life. I think children learn much more from our actions than we realize. I was home with my home educated children for 23 years. When I decided to go to school to become a midwife, I took them to my prerequisite courses at the college and they audited different classes so it was one son or two sons at most I have four, so I never took all of them to a class. That one action when they were just about finished with their own schooling, made a big difference on the fact that they all would get future education. I worried so much about whether or not they would have interest in college after being home educated but it was more about having a parent who sought to learn in whatever way throughout life. I love all you share even though my homemaking is mostly just for my husband and I know, but all that you share I can say amen to my children are in their 30s and 40s now and I have a Grandchildren. But more than anything else I have no regrets. Best years of my life as a matter of fact. Second, only to being a homebirth midwife for 10 years. Also wonderful years. Thank you for all you share.
Thank you for sharing. That was very beautiful. I'm sure you learned a lot just from watching your mom work. I love that you took your children to your courses and were allowed to. I know they have benefited greatly from their education with you and spending that time with you. That is very inspirational and encouraging. Plus, being a midwife ❤️ how incredible. Your memories with your mom and all she did is probably what your children think of you as well. You have done (and continue to do) awesome things! I'm so glad you shared ❤️
I enjoy your videos very much ❤️ In some ways, I feel like you’re saying that work IS “the path of salvation,” but just an encouragement that we add nothing to our salvation. We do not save ourselves and we do not keep ourselves saved; that alone is Christ’s work. Everyone who is indwelt by the Holy Spirit will work, of course, but it is because we are already saved, not because it will save us or somehow keep us saved. No one can snatch a believer out of Christ’s hand, not even the believer himself. No one is strong enough to do that. Thank you for sharing. You are a lovely homemaker and mother; your voice is soothing and I love listening as you share Scripture. God bless you 🙏🏼
Sorry if it came off that way. I don't believe we can work our way to salvation or do anything to get us to Heaven. It is from the grace that God gives us! Only way to the Father is the Son. ❤️ Thank you for your kind words.
Thank you for this encouragement today! I struggle with the daily temptation to be idle and not complete necessary tasks to keep my home running smoothly. With four young children 7 and under, I find myself frustrated often because of the constant messes being made right after I clean them up. Two steps forward, 5 steps backwards (it seems!). The Lord bless you and your ministry in motherhood, Kelsey! Thanks for bringing the realness to your content!
I totally understand this! I feel like sometimes I go 7 steps back. You are doing great things in your home. We all can improve in certain areas. Know you're not alone!
Your video and mini sermon on idleness is inspiring. Even though I am Catholic and you are Christian, we are both sisters of faith and our Lord Jesus Christ. Such a beautiful home, family and message. God bless you with many more blessings and your family.
Wow what a blessing your channel is... 3 days ago very bad things have been said in my family that caused permanent pain in my heart and we're also preparing to move into a new house which is also kind of a farmhouse with garden etc. (A dream that is about to come true) but so many bad things are happening around this and it takes all my mental energy.. so, I cried out to the Lord since I somehow can't listen to worship music or preachings (this never happened before) I somehow found your channel and it feels like God has spoken to me through you.. I regained some motivation to read the word and do what I have to do as mamma and wife... God bless you dear sister in Christ and greetings from Switzerland
Hello Switzerland! My dream is to come to Switzerland. ❤️ I'm so sorry you are going through a hard time. I will be praying for you. I pray that you get peace and are able to focus on your new dream home. Keep crying out to the Lord, I am also crying out to Him. You are not alone.
@@faithfulacresfarmhouse aw wow I hope this dream of yours will come true one day, let me know if you need any suggestions for nice places to visit 🥰 Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. I'll be praying for you too and really wish you daily joy and peace in our Lord Jesus
What a great testimony! I need your perspective and outlook on my bad circumstances, and trusting God can bring good from them. I wish you daily joy and from from Jesus as well. I will definitely take recommendations too! @@n_sart
New subscribers I struggle with idleness especially since remodeling our home doing everything ourselves. I didn't feel like sanding yesterday and priming doors, trim, and walls. Today I have a few rooms to clean out so we can move forward with painting. 🤣 I also have to sand more today. I hate sanding, lol. It will be worth it when our home is done. I can't wait till it feels like a home.
It doesn't sound like you're idle! Get it girl! Renovations are exhausting, especially when it is multiple days (months or years) and it's a waiting game. You will loveeee your home once it's all done. Props to you! Keep going!
I know exactly how you feel! We did the same thing. I hope I don’t have to build again. We still have 2 final inspections to pass but we are allowed to be in our house. Everything is fully functioning. Even though we have plywood countertops that I covered with shelf liners, our trim around windows and doors and bottom of the walls aren’t in, and I have no shelves or racks in my closets - which means I can’t fully unpack things otherwise it would just be piling up on the floor. I cried many tears while building the house and doing work that I did NOT want to do. I’m still trying to get into routines especially with cleaning and tidying up. And everything does not have a home yet and if it does, eventually it gets put to a new home so that makes daily tasks even harder, still trying to figure out where everything should go . But there will be an end. I’m just looking forward to that day… It’s been a long time in coming!
Finding your channel & watching your videos, I feel like I found a long lost friend! I have much in common with you. While I love watching other homemakers and mamas, it's a whole different experience to find another Catholic! I subscribed and will be watching. ❤️
Hey Kelsey! I just came across your channel for the first time. I love the message you brought in this video. You have such a beautiful soul ❤ Cooking is the one homemaking task I struggle with the most. I decided recently start a slow journey to love cooking…taking very small baby steps! I have made a couple of meals so far this summer that were delicious 😊 That was so sweet your kids sitting together drinking tea. I just had a tea party with my kids for the first time over the weekend. They didn’t drink the tea but that’s ok what mattered was spending that time together ❤😊
😄 Maybe they'd rather have a juice or lemonade party. I bet it was darling, and they loved it anyway! Cooking was definitely that homemaking task for me for a long time. I bet the meals you made this summer were so delicious! You're doing great things! ❤️
@@faithfulacresfarmhouse Oh they definitely did not like it haha! They just wanted to try it at least. They are picky eaters too so I was happy they wanted to try 😊
This video was so nice to watch, and your message is wonderful, I absolutely agree that we should always be relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance in life, because as we get closer to Yahweh and Yeshua we learn more about the narrow path, and even learn things like how to lead a healthier lifestyle, in fact not too long ago I came across a video on a channel called marcthemessenger on high and low vibrational foods which I learnt from....highly recommend. God bless in Jesus name 🙏🏼
When your child got excited about the whistle tea pot it reminded of when one of my children would get excited about the popcorn raising the lid off the pot 😂. That’s what homemakers do… work among the “chaos” = activity of children 😊 ❤
Yes! With my chronic pain and my over-thinking brain and my squirrel syndrome, I'm beginning to realise, that instead of following the advice of all the homemaking content creators who insist on timers for getting all the things done, I need to get strict about using a timer for my veg-out breaks and for tasks that I need to put a time-limit on, and just allow myself to flow through the rest of all the things in accordance with my body and rain's capabilities, and not woory about how lobg it takes...just do it at a comfortable pace until it's done, in a relaxed way. And, yes. Perfect is never the end result to achieve, because ir's impossible. But striving fi excellence instead, IS achievable. Perfect and excellence are 2 different things. Getting strict with my veg-out time is going to be the hardest challenge. I'm somewhat optimistic that I can and will succeed and overcome this temptation through Jesus. I do cook 99% of my meals with very few non-fresh ingredients. WmI use ingredients from local sources and very picky about our on-line food shopping sources. And I do accomplish at least 90% of my daily housekeeping tasks. So, I am not completely lazy. I just have too much idle time that takes over, and I know the solution. Ijudt struggle to sti k with the solution. Please pray for me ❤
My stillness is productive. I wonder where the difference in "worried about many things" and idleness meet. Martha was busy serving the Lord while her sister was sitting. I suppose it's work to get into God's rest.

I am going to print the meal plan. The sausage dish looks delicious. ❤. I try not to be idle and am working towards being a proverb 31 woman. My husband, my 2 children and I are watching from Louisiana ❤❤❤.
It is easy to be idle, so it happens from time to time. Children keep us busy and make us tired. You are doing great! I'm striving to be a Proverbs 31 woman too! Hello from Wisconsin!
I'm unmotivated lately because I'm depressed, partly due to my husbands negativity and the way he treats me (calls me names as well and drinks) and because my health slows me down.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I am definitely here if you need someone to talk to. All of it is not okay, and I'm sorry you have to go through it. Have you looked into finding a marriage counselor, or counseling for yourself. Sometimes, it's nice to have someone from the outside help get your marriage back on the path of how God created it to be. It may have a big effect on your husband if a neutral party helps with advice and guidance. I will be praying for you ❤️ all you can do is control yourself and be the best wife you can be. 🙏
Hello! I just discovered your channel, and I'm really enjoying it! I noticed you had a bag of Wheat Montana....are you by chance located in Montana? I was born and raised there, though I haven't lived in Montana now for almost 6 years.
I feel bad but I cut friends in the past few yrs…. Even very recently I have backed away from a friend who has a life of drama and badness and when she comes to visit she doesn’t gossip but she sucks my whole day away and I feel drained. I feel so happy when she leaves after 6hrs. What do you think of those types of friends? She means well but makes very bad choices. Also, I am interested if anyone has advice about separation….. I feel terrible. I am previously divorced and my husb is obsessed with my previous husband. I have been patient for 6 long years of ridicule, him making up stories about my past, him saying bad things at me over and over again. Shoukd I remain patient or should I be happy that we are separated? I was not patient in the past and quickly moved on… but I think 6yrs is enough… right? I think he will never think well of me.
I would not feel bad cutting out anyone who does not bring you closer to God. Sometimes, in order to grow and be better for ourselves, we have to let go of others who hold us back. You can slowly back away, and give less and less time with her. I can't speak on your marriage, but if you feel comfortable or want to email me at kelsey@westmanacademyhomeschool.com we can talk further. Just know you are not alone. 💗
I'm not sure specifically for this video, but my kids are usually playing around me. I try to do a lot during his nap. Otherwise, he is just hanging out next to me, getting into everything.
I'm sure you're an amazing homemaker, and have blessed your children greatly raising them. I have lots to learn still! My poor hair is always neglected, but I do love makeup. I have been trying to keep it very simple, so I can definitely share it in a video! I also buy my dresses from Shein (although the company doesn't seem to be very ethical). I also buy from Amazon. This black one was on sale at Walmart for $9. TJ Maxx also has good deals on dresses.
The proverbs 31 woman does not exist. Sure, it’s good to strive to those things but it’s just a woman that was prayed for her for her son. So if anyone is struggling and being hard on yourself, remember this.
I struggled (still struggle at times) with my kids eating veggies. My son doesn't like many, so he still picks around them. Honestly, I had to cut everything "snacky" out and try to detox them from sugar (worked on that for much of last year), and I have to put veggies in with the main dish. I make them try one of each 😆. Slowly, my kids have been eating them more and more. Each time they're introduced it gets better. Don't give up! Kids won't like every vegetable and that's okay.
@@faithfulacresfarmhouse that's what I really want to do is get the sugar out of the house and cut back big time on the gluten. I know it'll take time to do. It's just hard starting out.
@lindseysanders727 Yes, starting is the hardest part! I also am more disciplined if I just don't buy stuff with a bunch of sugar. If it's in the house, it's harder for me to say no to. I have had to learn to adapt things to be gluten-free for my daughter with celiac. Once you get in a rhythm it's so much easier. Again, starting is the hardest part. You can do it!
@lindseysanders727 It is not sadly. Einkorn and sourdough are all low gluten. Oat, coconut, almond flour are gluten free, and tapioca starch. I think oat flour is good, and doesn't give a "oh this tastes gluten free" if you know what I mean. 😄
Hey there! This is the first video I've seen of yours. Very productive! I wanted to ask what you meant on the 'path towards salvation'? Do you believe your works save you at the end of your life? Or just keeping on the path of eternal life?
Salvation is a pathway. I liked how she described it. It's not one prayer, and you're saved. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus. Faith in Jesus and reptence in Jesus bares good fruit. So many christains are back sliding, even lukewarm. Some even potentially lose their salvation in the end. Unfortunately, the majority of preachers don't teach this. Leading many to false gospel and eventually to hell. It's a hard pill to swallow. Most christains are worldly God calls us to be holy. At the end of the day are we living for Christ or are we living for ourselves.
Our works and good deeds can NOT save us. I firmly believe that having true faith will produce those good deeds. I will have to go back to find where I said that. I believe what I was meaning was "working towards salvation (in our way with the Lord) not our physical works". Hope that makes sense. So more what you said at the end on keeping on the path 😊

Amen!
Love this! Wish we could be friends so I could learn from you! (And help you! Haha sounds busy but great!)
Remember the woman in prov 31 had help. She had servants so don’t feel bad about that especially in a season that’s needed the most❤
I have one saying for you, Life is hard get a helmet.😮
Hope for the best 🙏🏻, if you have a goal, make steps to accomplishing it! You can do it!!!

Yes! Sabbath day of rest is so important! Even Paul talked of the importance of rest in Hebrews!
Shout out to all the traditional home makers. They say your home your kids and your husband are bit better when the wife is home. I mean it makes sense if you choose to do that. I mean women create, makes sense that they can be the ones to keep a happy well rounded family.
So true! I love this! 💕🙏
Folding 9 garbage bags full of laundry while watching your videos. You are helping me so much! Raised Catholic, I’m finding more & more solace and encouragement from my bible.

Knitting while I watch this and conflicted on whether i'm working or relaxing ;)

I am a senior citizen, 72, sometimes I don"t feel like cleaning. I know this is wrong, so I am idle and lazy. I need to change.

I love Bible in a Year.
@@praynxs9249 ugh no one tells you how much you miss them when they first leave. 😭 and thank you. 😊
Beautiful
Bless you! I’m twice your age with half of your homemaking skills….
Amen! So beautiful ❤️ it's easy to feel overwhelmed and feel like your hard work is for nothing. So glad He spoke to you!
Kelsey, such a lovely video❣️. I would have loved to have this kind of encouragement 48 years ago as a young mother. God bless❣️
That means a lot. I'm sure you did amazing! Now you can be that encouragement for us. 🥰
Me too, and my son would have REALLY appreciated it.😊😊
I don’t have any memories of my mother ever letting me actually use her sewing machine, but she sewed all the time and knitted and crocheted, and was always using her downtime to create some thing from fabric.
Thank you very much.
Amen, sister! God bless your precious family.

Love how you include the spoken scripture. Just beautiful. New subscriber here. Looking forward to learning a lot from you 🥰
New subscribers I struggle with idleness especially since remodeling our home doing everything ourselves.
Keep going!
Also sanding is the worst😜
And everything does not have a home yet and if it does, eventually it gets put to a new home so that makes daily tasks even harder, still trying to figure out where everything should go
. But there will be an end. I’m just looking forward to that day… It’s been a long time in coming!
God sent you my way. I will start going through your videos, you are so inspiring!

Hey Kelsey! I just came across your channel for the first time. I love the message you brought in this video. You have such a beautiful soul ❤
Cooking is the one homemaking task I struggle with the most. I decided recently start a slow journey to love cooking…taking very small baby steps! I have made a couple of meals so far this summer that were delicious 😊
That was so sweet your kids sitting together drinking tea.
@westmanacademy They actually wanted to try the tea! 😃 But yes, juice or lemonade is going to be better for next time, they had a lovely time 🥰

Can you make a video of some simpler from scratch meals for beginner homemakers
Beautiful video❤
When your child got excited about the whistle tea pot it reminded of when one of my children would get excited about the popcorn raising the lid off the pot 😂. That’s what homemakers do… work among the “chaos” = activity of children 😊 ❤
Haha I love it! Popcorn is exciting 😋 Yes we do! Work among the chaos 😄❤️
Balance between rest and work is important; they both need to be properly ordered.
Couldn't agree more!

Hello! I just discovered your channel, and I'm really enjoying it! I noticed you had a bag of Wheat Montana....are you by chance located in Montana? I was born and raised there, though I haven't lived in Montana now for almost 6 years.
I'm not. I'm actually from Nebraska, but live in Wisconsin now. Montana looks beautiful 🥰
May i ask where your baby is whilst you are cooking and cleaning ? Thank you

P.s. I couldn't find the etsy list of homemaking tasks?? Is there a link for it?
I forgot to add it! Here it is: www.etsy.com/listing/949588552/printable-cleaning-schedule-instant?ref=yr_purchases
@@faithfulacresfarmhouse thank you!

Do you use King James Bible?
No, I use the New American Bible Revised Edition and the Revised Standard Version - Second Catholic Edition
Do you take your children to the market with you? I have only one and it’s not easy. I am wondering with 4! 😮
Yep! I go everywhere with all of them. It sounds intimidating but every time you add another you just adjust and it becomes your norm!
Perfectionism needs to chill out with that! Law
The proverbs 31 woman does not exist. Sure, it’s good to strive to those things but it’s just a woman that was prayed for her for her son. So if anyone is struggling and being hard on yourself, remember this.
I wish my kids would eat something like that.
@@faithfulacresfarmhouse is Einkorn gluten free?
@lindseysanders727 It is not sadly. Einkorn and sourdough are all low gluten. Oat, coconut, almond flour are gluten free, and tapioca starch. I think oat flour is good, and doesn't give a "oh this tastes gluten free" if you know what I mean. 😄
Hey there! This is the first video I've seen of yours. Very productive! I wanted to ask what you meant on the 'path towards salvation'?
Do you believe your works save you at the end of your life? Or just keeping on the path of eternal life?
We're saved by our faith in Christ, but our works are how we live out our faith. JAMES 2 says Faith without works is dead.
@@rose-xx5ef absolutely agree! Just wanted to ask because there are so many that believe in a works based salvation!
