Weird to think how much things have changed in these three years when everyone thought this was the Hendrick of the future. Johnson retires, Chase wins 11 races and a championship, Byron and Bowman each score two victories, and Larson brings back the 5 for Hendrick.

Byron's reminds me so much of Jeff Gordon's! My favorite is probably Bowman's though. None the less, those ZL1s look amazing!!
it is going to suck because the old 5 team is now the 24 team and you know how bad the 5 team sucks so its gonna be hard to see the 24 car only be a mid pack car next year and yes it is jeff gordons exact scheme he ran

The reason that Byron is driving the "recycled" Jeff Gordon flame scheme, is because William Byron's sponser is Liberty University, whose sports teams are the Liberty Flames and their colors are Red and Blue.

Disappointing. 48 looks like a test car or a backmarker. No creativity or effort went into Jimmie's car design. Bowman's is decent, and I'm happy with the distinctions (number style and color, scheme, etc) from the Dale era to the Bowman era. The 9 is serviceable but needs more yellow and less white...it looks like a special patriotic scheme. Byron's is good, but it's a recycled Gordon car with a slightly changed color. It would've been nice for Hendrick to come up with a scheme that would give Byron his own identity in the sport, like NAPA did for Chase. Overall, unimpressed. Favorite: Bowman (would be Byron if it was different); least favorite: Johnson.

Imma a ford fan and always will be but, the 24 reminds me of Gordon’s old car and I like that but the 48 should have kept the car blue like his original paint scheme.

The 24 is the best with the number 88 having the second best paint scheme. The number 9 and 48 could use some work.

I actually like it.....I think this is the direction NASCAR should be going - base it on the pony car, NOT the lame family sedan/coupe that they've used for so many years. LETS FACE IT: The family coupe/sedan has evolved since the late 80's - the NASCAR versions were still RWD/V8-based, whereas the actual production models had become FWD/I4 or V6-based.......NOT a true representation of a stock car. NOW, this will give Chevrolet even more incentive to WIN ON SUNDAY, SELL ON MONDAY because the pony car is more of a true reflection of the stock car (RWD/available V8). Speaking of pony cars, when will Ford bring the Mustang template to Monster Cup?

First Last - You are so gullible to believe that actual Camry (along Camaro) is used in Nascar. You probably also believe that wrestling is real.
NASCAR makes the rules. They can do what ever they want. Most smaller local racing don't even require that the body and engine brand match up. I still have my VW powerd Olds Firenza, and my VW powered Dodge 024.

Ranking the Paint Schemes from worst to best.
Worst: Johnson: It's the most plain scheme I have ever seen on a car in any series. Nothing but black with a little white stripe and yellow on the number and the "For Pros". 1/5
3rd: Elliott: White and blue don't mix well in my opinion. 2.5/5
2nd: Bowman: Even though this scheme is just "PLAIN", it still has the standard colors for the Nationwide scheme. I don't have an opinion on the black 88. 3/5
Best: Byron: Almost the exact paint scheme of when Gordon drove it. Has the nice red flames and the yellow 24. But it's been plainified(Yes I made that word up.). 3.5/5
Overall: 2.25/5
It's best said that these schemes are a disappointment in my opinion. If you like these schemes, that fine with me. I'm not hating on anyone over a paint scheme.
Vital Communications I couldn't agree more. I'm pretty unimpressed and disappointed. Jimmie's really is one of the most bland and plain schemes I've seen in a long, long time.

One rule change should bring them back down to Earth. A reversal of the rule "clarification" they made in the middle of 2017. That's when the Gibbs cars finally started tp do any good. The 78 team was using a different shape to the "pan" under the nose. The clarification was that that was not illegal. Turns out it only worked on the Toyotas. Didn't matter what shape the pan was on the Fords and Chevy's, their speed didn't change.
Toyota shouldn't even be in NASCAR to begin with and NASCAR is kissing their ass
