Hi, C standard is like E standard but every string tuned down 2 steps - C, F, A#, D#, G, C. Drop C is every string down 1 step then dropping the low string down 2 steps - C, G, C, F, A, D. It's possible to do it in drop C but you will need to shuffle around the other notes. You might end up having a few quite large stretches in the bridge sections but I imagine it is doable! Good luck 🤘
Hatebreed plays in C standard ALWAYS (C F A# D# G C) . Not "dropped C" (CGCFAD) . Look up rig run down with Wayne Lozinak. The camera even pans across his tuning pedal with tuning written on it.
Yeah Jeramie I checked it out, its c standard, there's a lot of videos of people playing in drop c which is totally wrong, I play it in c standard also. Could you do some more videos of other hatebreed songs?
@@elmershiflett8154 it's not wrong necessarily if they don't use the same tuning, as long as they're playing the exact same notes. Certain riffs or fingerings will be harder in different tunings, but theres no reason you cant play HB songs in drop C if it works for the individual player.
Finally found someone playing this in C standard thanks.
Nice
Hell yea bro, do some more lessons!.... I think it sounded good!... Nice tone
